We were looking to eat at the Bistro across the street but it was closed and didn't open for several hours. We spied this place and opted to give it a try and we are elated we did. First of all, it's simply a very attractive restaurant. Spacious, clean, very tastefully decorated and it has a world class outdoor seating area. It was chilly out and we still chose to sit outside. It's such a beautiful space it seemed a waste not to. We ordered a few beers and appetizers first. Spring rolls and crab cheese wantons. Both were fresh, tasty and well plated. Real care goes into preparing food and it shows. My main course was Drunken Noodles with shrimp made spicy and it just may have been my best Asian meal of the year. It was absolutely scrumptious from the first bite to the last. My friends had Pineapple Curry and BBQ Pork Noodles and their report was equally glowing. What made our meal even better? Our server, a wonderful man named Eli, was exceptional. We had questions, he had answers. He made suggestions, we took them. He was dead right about each suggestion and it made for a simply incredible meal. Thank you Eli.... Give this place a try if you're seeking great food, exceptional service and a delightful atmosphere.

Only lots of peanuts with very little vegetables since I hate green peppers. Thought they might have added more zucchini. Had lots of chicken but just wasn't like Panag I've had in the past. And the container was really hard to eat curry from when your holding it. Spilled all over the sides and made a mess on my shirt. They should use soup containers, not the same containers as noodles. Second I ordered the satay chicken for my husband. What a rip off! 4 small skewers with rice and peanut sauce on the side. $15.50! It's not an entree! You would get chicken satay on a appetizer menu at any thai place for around $8. But because you added rice you made it an entree for $15.50? That's some expensive rice! When I saw it I said that didn't look worth it. He says yeah, I was gonna ask what you paid. Sorry to say I won't be returning. Please add more chicken if your going to charge that much. Or cut your price.

It's run by a married couple, one is from Thailand. They said it was the grand opening and they were offering a cup of rice soup and two wontons. The first thing is the rice soup. I almost cried because it was the exact same taste as I had for breakfast pretty often when I was in Bangkok. When a cup of soup brings up happy memories- I don't think that can be done all the time. Secondly, the decor. It's got Thai artwork on the walls, which adds to the feel of being based on Thai culture, as opposed to a Chinese restaurant that happens to serve Thai curries and a couple noodle dishes if you don't feel like sesame chicken or similar. I tried the Pad Thai since it is a good basis of comparison among Thai restaurants in the USA. It's the best I have found in Colorado. The distinction is that they used tamarind in the sauce, and a tiny bit of fish sauce. This is the right way to go. I don't get that flavor elsewhere but I haven't tried every Thai place in the Denver area. Finally, I spoke with the guy who is one half of the ownership structure, and we shared some stories about trotting around in Thailand. I did not meet the other owner as she was very busy in the kitchen. I walked away thinking that this is my new spot when I am driving by or in the neighborhood.

I ordered the Pad See Ew both times because nothing else on the menu has truly caught my eye. The first time I ordered, I asked for a level three in spice, level one is the lowest and level five is the hottest. I like spice so level three wasn't spicy. It came in a flat compostable to go box. There was a napkin and a fork. There are no condiments or chopsticks. There looked to be no visible dark soy sauce, and that is a main ingredient when it comes to Pad See Ew. There was barely any broccoli. I devoured the food anyway because it satisfied my hunger for lunch. My coworker was heading in that direction and picked it up for me. The second time that I ordered from the café, I got it delivered. It took much longer than I thought, even though I'm three blocks away from the restaurant. It's clear they use a third-party delivery service. This time around I ordered a level four in spice because I wanted an extra. This time around, I ordered a level four in spice. When I finally receive my food, it looked exactly the same and tasted exactly the same as the first time I ordered. It came in a different to-go box. There was a napkin, a fork, and chopsticks unlike the last time I ordered four days prior. There was barely any visible soy sauce on the dish. The spice level did not change. There were barely any pieces of broccoli again. I bought a bottle of soy sauce for the break room in the office so I can have ready just in case. The dish is $17.95 currently on the website (August 2026). After taxes, fees and tip I ended up spending $30 to have my food delivered three blocks. Unless someone is offering to buy me lunch like my Manager did the first time I ordered. I'm not getting food from here again.

Last night when I got take out they missed eggs on my pad Thai and I didn't realize that 'mild' means no spice at all. That's exactly what happened at East Moon. The menu is huge. Sushi, ramen, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese dishes... basically something for whatever mood you're in. Usually when a restaurant tries to do that many things, something suffers. That wasn't the case here. The sushi nachos were easily my favorite thing we ordered. Honestly, I could've made a meal out of those alone. The combination of fish, mango, avocado, sauces, and crispy wonton chips just worked. We also ordered gyoza, beef pad thai, a Hawaiian Dragon Roll, sashimi ceviche, and tonkotsu ramen. Everyone at the table had a different favorite, which is usually a pretty good sign.
