    Husky tracks and something else

I have been going here since I was little! My dad went to UCONN, and is a huge fan of the campus. We stopped here in September when my uncle and aunt were visiting from Lousiana. I tried Husky Tracks, and maybe mudslide ?? or a similar flavor. I opted for the two scoop waffle cone, and it is HUGE. I had trouble finishing this thing! We sat on the bar stools that overlook part of the farm. It smelled particularly awful outside the day we went- but they have outside seating too. They also sell cartons of milk & ice cream to go! I will be back!!

First time visiting UCONN. Any campus with ice cream this good is worth attending. Friendly staff. The creamiest ice cream. The blueberry cheesecake was delicious! Husky tracks were also a big hit! Don't miss this spot!

A vast variety of choices, from ice cream to ice cream floats, to slushies, to cookie sandwiches UConn Dairy bar has them all. Decided to try the coffee espresso chip today, was offered a sample by a staff member, and decided to get it. It was a great choice! After our ice cream we decided to take a walk to see the cows. As always will be back!

UConn dairy bar is by far the tastiest ice cream probably in the world. It is the creamiest, flavorful, best textured dessert anyone can put in their mouth. I am so lucky to have experienced this ice cream when I was a UConn student, and will make the trek out just to have this treat when I am craving ice cream. The cherry on top is that the prices are extremely reasonable. I get a small cup which consists of two scoops, and those scoops are MASSIVE. I can do with just a kid size next time but I always wanna try two flavors. Their creations are so tasty and some of the senior scoops I wish were permanent flavors. Some of my all time faves include the salted caramel crunch, and their black raspberry has to be the best I've ever tried, no exaggeration. I love this place, I love this school, huskies forever!!!

Been on my list for a bit. Campus was quiet this Sunday-yesterday was graduation so a perfect day to come! Only waited 5 minutes Ordered banana chip and toasted almond-So yum! Ice cream is homemade. 2 smalls with toppings was only $12! Definitely worth the trip!

This was my first time at UConn's Dairy Bar, and I'll definitely return. I'm a PSU Berkey Creamery kind of gal, but the Dairy Bar's ice cream felt creamier. It wasn't very busy, but the workers all had smiles!

Literally farm-fresh ice cream made from dairy cows you can see in a big pasture across the way. So creamy and rich - delicious! The ice cream is top-notch, the flavors are terrific; do make sure you stop by after dropping off/picking up your student whenever start or end of semester, holidays, whatever (or just make up any old excuse to get some). Go Huskies! And scream for ice cream!

Wow! I've been missing out! This was my first experience here after hearing about it for years. There was a line out the doors, down the stairs and into the parking lot on the day I visited- Labor Day. However, the line moved fast and everyone was pleasant. I saw the board with the flavors of the day and knew I couldn't get just one. The young man who was taking orders was cheerful, competent and efficient. What a fabulous employee! I ordered a medium cup with 3 types of ice cream- strawberry cheesecake, chocolate brownie and coffee espresso crunch. The place was very clean and crowded and the staff were so fast and pleasant that I didn't mind waiting to get my cup. It didn't take too long. When my number was called I took it along with a spoon and napkins and made my way to the tables outside. All three flavors were out of this world! Creamy, crunchy and not too sweet. I chatted with others near me enjoying their ice cream too. Such a beautiful setting on the UCONN campus to enjoy a delicious treat!

This place definitely will reach you or test your PATIENCE! A long line and a crowded room full of people craving for UConn's Ice cream. I was told the amaretto was to die for. Well I did like it, but was it worth the wait That's for you to figure out, don't want to rob you of your own experience.

I have visited the dairy bar several times and i've never been disappointed . UConn's ice cream is made using milk from their own dairy farm. A must try when in the area The line usually moves quickly

UConn Ice Cream is as sweet as Carvel or Friendly's. They have crazy, unique flavors that are worth trying.

I was in Simsbury the other day and stopped by Le Bahn Patisserie, which turned out to be one of…read morethe best choices I could have possibly made. It is a small bakery with a limited selection (i did, however, go late in the afternoon), but the pastries were perhaps the best I have ever had - no exaggeration. The proprietor was incredibly friendly and welcoming, but most importantly she can bake! While in the area i also went to the Paris Baguete (in West Hartford), and there was absolutely no comparison - Le Bahn Patisserie is operating on a completely different level, and if you are planning a trip to Paris Baguette I would highly recommend going to Le Bahn instead. As noted, there is a smaller selection, so I would probably call ahead to see what she has, but if you are looking for some of the finest baked goods you have ever tasted you owe it to yourself to make the trip to Le Bahn Patisserie - you really won't regret it! I live about 45 minutes away, and I intend to make it a regular weekend stop - it really is that good

I recently visited Le Banh Patisserie for the second time, and once again found myself overwhelmed…read moreby the quality of the baked goods within. I find that most bakeries drown their flavors in sugar, glazes, and frosting, while the pastries offered at Le Banh Patisserie deliver the perfect balance of taste and texture without being cloyingly sweet. If you are a fan of crossaints, you owe it to yourself to give these a try - they are golden and flaky on the outside with an incredibly buttery and airy center, and baked to perfection. Whether you choose the almond, chocolate, or classic butter, I guarantee you won't be disappointed, and will likely feel as if you just stepped out of a Parisian café. The scones are equally delightful with a crisp exterior while remaining soft and moist in the middle, and abounding in flavor. Also, be sure to grab a Doodle cookie (or two) before you go, and give the Vietnamese coffee a try - you'll be glad you did. Above all else, the owner/baker is one of the friendliest and most personable people you are likely to meet, and I could have spent the entire afternoon talking with her. After complimenting her on the quality of her treats and contemplating the lack of decent bakeries in the area, she was generous enough to recommend other establishments which she thought would be worth trying. In addition, after telling her I would love to possess her skill, she encouraged me to give it a try and even gave me a few resources with which to begin my baking journey. Overall, I can highly recommend this hidden gem as perhaps the finest confectionary I have ever had the good fortune to stumble across, and would honestly suggest to anyone that they would be doing themselves an incredible disservice by failing to stop in one afternoon and give Le Banh Patisserie a try
