I have not tried the bistro yet, but this is my second time seeing a concert in the music hall…read more The music hall is on the smaller side, making each show more intimate than one in a larger venue. There is a bar in the back and additional seating in a balcony area. There really isn't a bad seat in the house, and both times I went the tickets were less than $50. I will definitely be back again.

The infinity music hall in Hartford is easily accessible and surrounded by several restaurants…read more There is a parking garage directly behind, however, there's no sign in the garage that points you into the theater so you may end up walking much further than necessary. The process to get inside is a bit disorganized, but everyone is doing their best. The acoustics are nice. The challenges are far more plentiful. The stage is unusually high - which means the front row is likely incredibly uncomfortable with kinked necks unless they stand the entire show. The seats are unbelievably close to each other - so much so that we saw people forfeit their seats because they couldn't fit into the row. If someone needs to exit the row, everyone must get up and move out of the row due to limited room. (Men- do not stand and make women slide past you. That's gross.) A little more effort could go into the experience, for instance, there was very little room at the stage for people to dance during The English Beat. I think it's important for any theatre to understand who they're hosting and how the crowd enjoys the music. Overall, the performance was great, but the theatre could use some adjusting. I wouldn't return unless it was a must see.

What's behind the Green Door?…read more Well, I remember a song from my childhood called "Green Door" -it had a honky-tonk piano sound and I kind of remember it got some radio play in the early '60s. I also remember there was a porno movie named "Behind the Green Door". It was a big deal in 1972 and "starred" Marilyn Chambers -the Ivory Snow girl. Fast Forward to today. What's Behind the Green Door up in Collinsville, CT? A very nice restaurant known as the Green Door Restaurant. It's the house restaurant at Bridge Street Live - a music and entertainment venue on the Farmington River in the funky little town of Collinsville. We had dinner at the Green Door tonight and had a pretty favorable experience. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed a pretty view of the River and enjoyed a singer and his acoustic guitar. So what kind of food might one find behind their Green Door? The menu had seven appetizers ranging from a $6 soup to an $18 Charcuterie Board, three salads ranging from $10 to $14 with a protein add-on between $8-$10 more, five sandwiches with a side for $13 or $14, six personal pizzas ($10-$15), and eight entrees ranging from $14 - $34. We shared a Hummus platter ($10) served with pita wedges, grape tomatoes, carrot and celery sticks, and broccoli florets. The hummus with Roasted Red Pepper was very good, the veggies were cold and crisp, and the pita bread was soft and warm. Not a bad value for ten bucks, but the actual amount of hummus wasn't very generous. I ordered one of the entrees - a Seared Sesame Ahi Tuna Bowl for $18. It was a big serving of six tuna slices with red quinoa & buckwheat, maybe two dozen crispy chickpeas, shaved carrots, sliced avocado, and arugula with a herb lemon dressing. The dish tasted great and was a pretty good value, considering the large serving. We also ordered a Reuben Sandwich ($14) of shaved corned beef, Thousand Island dressing, house made sauerkraut, and Fontina cheese, on Marbled Rye. The sandwich tasted great (especially the bread) but the weak link was the quantity of corned beef - not nearly enough. My Diet Coke $3 and that price speaks for itself -it was high. Our modest dinner ran around $47 (after tax) and I didn't really feel our overall value was there. Yes, the view was nice, the service was friendly, and the menu was varied. If you're attending a show at Bridge Street, it does make a lot of sense to eat here as a convenience. Otherwise, I'm not really convinced to go through that Green Door again.

My cousin ordered the bourbon steak tips great flavor but extremely tough the mashed potatoes and grilled Brussels sprouts were good. U had the Cobb salad with crispy chicken. Definitely give it a try Thanks Enjoy Chris M

This place has a great amount of space with plenty of seating and parking, which is always a plus…read more I also heard they do karaoke on Fridays, though I didn't stay long enough to check that out. The décor was really cute for Valentine's Day, nicely done without being over the top. I liked that there's both a full dining room and a separate bar area with table seating, so it feels versatile depending on what kind of night you're having. The service, unfortunately, was a little slow and underwhelming. I waited quite a while just for water while others were being served, and overall I felt a bit rushed rather than welcomed. Food-wise, the mac and cheese was a bit dry on top at first, but once I got into the bottom where the cheese was thicker, it was actually pretty good. The meatloaf was just okay, nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out. Since it was my first visit, I was hoping to be more impressed, but it didn't really give me that "I can't wait to come back" feeling. Not terrible, just not memorable enough yet.

With good reviews and a cool menu we dropped in and couldn't have been happier! We were pretty lucky as it was not that busy and we were able to get a table right away. The decor is eclectic and interesting. The staff came with a great smile and even better attitude; absolutely top notch! We started w the pretzels and beer cheese. Holy 6 pound baby Jesus they were good. They came out piping hot and the cheese was in a bubbling side dish. This isn't your typical dab of cheese in a plastic condiment container that is commonplace nowadays. I had the Arturo Sandoval (spin on a Cuban) as my entree and it was also fabulous and came out hot. If I was being critical, the pork was a wee bit dry, but that happens sometimes and it really didn't take away from the sando. Even the small side of pasta salad was outstanding. I'm lucky if I eat sides like that 1/100 times and this one I couldn't wait to finish. Great vibe, great staff, great food, and live music almost every day. Definitely gonna go back and if it's just as good will update to 5 stars.

I love the decor inside and the names of the items on the menu was unique to musical artists which was cool. I will personally make the trip back to this place again. Their service was fast and friendly.
