We came to Uccello's for happy hour and were definitely happy with their offerings! The prices were great, both for the food and the drink specials. I got their pizza with bacon, and I think bacon might be my new favorite topping now. I don't think you can beat these prices. Highly recommend!

First visit, got a seat outside on their sidewalk tables. Ordered a 10 inch deluxe pizza and a side salad. Pizza was made perfectly, with a buttery, slightly crisp crust. Toppings were outstanding. Have a full bar and craft draft menu. Awesome pizza!

I was there at happy hour and I'll tell ya, I couldn't believe how inexpensive their happy hour is and it is delicious. Honestly, they should charge more for the portions you get. It's a step above the rest. I sat at the bar and very friendly service and gave great recommendations of places to go while in town. It could because it slower right now or not, but I would definitely come here again. I definitely want to try a Pizza. Looks really good from the beautiful woman sitting next to me.

It is a great spot for a late-night dinner when other locations are closed. Family friendly. The pizza was standard, but it was nice that they offered smaller sizes so we could all personalize. The Italian flatbread was very yummy and a perfect portion. The Fettuccine Alfredo could have had more flavor but was very creamy. Service was not very attentive and we did wait a while for our food.

Place well located downtown on a less traveled street. Great seating area outside. QR code for the menu. Online menu well presented, easy to read. I had meatballs for an appetizer and pizza for main. Meatballs came with a lot of thick marinara sauce and melted cheese. Good starter. My pizza was the signature pizza. Deep dish, full of various cheese and meats. Another restaurant could call it meat lovers pizza. Pizza was excellent. Waitress (McKenna?) was profesional, pleasant and full of smile.

Pizza was amazing , restaurant was clean and nice. Service was okay but not as great as some of the other near buy restaurants.

We are from out of town and we have to say ot was a perfect meal. We ordered online and picked it up to take back to our hotel The chicken marsala was amazing, and the creamy chicken pasta with sausage was so good. The dessert that we ordered was the Italian lemon cream cake.. it was still frozen.. when it thawed out, that's all you can taste was the frozen after taste. But overall, the take out experience was good..

The food here was incredible! Came here two days in a row during a trip to GR. Only downside was that the staff was not welcoming

Great shrimp risotto! Fresh shrimp! We were not hungry so we shared. It was plenty for two. I'm glad we ordered it. It was yummy.

This is a restaurant and bar with simulator bays. How fun!…read more Most simulators are set up for just golf but I saw other sports equipment in other bays, so they may have some throwing style games as well. You can eat, drink, and play golf - you can do it all or you can do just one. However, if you plan on playing golf / using a simulator bay, you should call or go online and make a reservation. It gets busy there. I love that they have seasonal cocktails. They had some special ones for st Patrick's day. They also have happy hour M-F from 2-6pm. I booked a bay, it charges per 30 min. The hour was $65. I had one cocktail. I got a briefing on the system and I was on my way to playing a very difficult golf course in South Korea. They have club upgrades but I stuck with the standard bag. I had a great time. Next time I will choose an easier golf course! Also, I believe the server calculates their tip not only on what you buy but also your bay time. So I'll review my check a little closer next time. The sell golf gloves if you need one/forgot yours. There is a small parking lot next to the building or you can park on the street or garage nearby. Bathrooms are on all levels. Fun place. I'll be back.

Glad to be proven wrong! It's greasy-ish bar food at the end of the day, but the happy hour specials were really affordable and the food was very good. Fries were seasoned well, chicken tenders were crispy, and the poutine was done well too. Very beige plates all around though. Golf simulator side of things was awesome. They've got ones with extra sports too so you can play t-ball, pitch, throw a football, kick a field goal, play hockey, or kick a soccer ball on a penalty kick. You can bring your own clubs and practice as well. Very cool experience, very spacious, and perfect for birthday parties for kids who like sports or late night group activities that isn't bowling. Super spacious too with two bars both upstairs and downstairs. Very cool and unique spot downtown!

We had beers while we waited for our table and the bartenders were great. Quick service and they were friendly. We were seated at a booth after 30ish minutes. Shaun was our server and he took such good care of us! Our refills were quick, he was so nice and our food was as exactly as we ordered. We had a deluxe pizza on hand tossed crust. I tell ya what - that crust is GOOD. The bottom was crispy and the end was soft and chewy. Decent amount of toppings too! We also had a Caesar wrap with crispy chicken. They add diced tomatoes here - and I like that! Shaun did ask if I was ok with tomatoes, he must have had people complain in the past to know to ask. We went with chips as a side, I knew I wasn't going to eat enough of the side to spend the extra $$ on an upgrade to fries. Z's is a downtown staple, especially late night. I ordered chicken wings and a thin-crust pizza. Honestly, both were mediocre at best, and I had a bad feeling from the start. The wings were too soft and mushy, which should have been a warning sign, but I went ahead anyway since there weren't a lot of other options around. Big mistake. To make matters worse, I ended up with full-blown food poisoning the next day--I've been throwing up all day, and it's clear it came from that meal. And the service was just as frustrating. The bartender told me it was happy hour but never gave me a happy hour menu. When the bill came, everything was full price. So what's the point of mentioning happy hour if you're not actually going to honor it? On top of that, the bartender said she was done with her shift but then lingered around for another hour or so until I left. She just wanted me to pay up quick for some reason. Just a ridiculous experience all around. Trust me, steer clear of Z's Bar if you value your health and your wallet. Awful.

In fact, my kids laughed at my wife when she got a salad and wasn't overly impressed "Mom, why would you get a salad at a place with great burgers?!?" My thoughts exactly. The service is decent, the space is comfortable for a downtown spot on Monroe Center. When I visit, I focus solely on the burgers and I've never been disappointed. The 'Meat Wagon', topped with ribeye, ham and bacon just wants to cuddle your belly from the inside. The 'Otto Von Burger' topped with a fried egg and bacon is one of the best examples of its kind. The 'Alabamer' is great when you're craving pulled pork and bacon on your burger. If you just want a traditional burger, you have that option and won't be disappointed. Also, the loaded fries are solid, but personally, I would pass on the fancier offerings. Remember: Burgers over fancy apps and skip the salads and you'll be fine.

Luckily, I was able to snag a reservation for 6:45, so we found a few things to do nearby while we waited. Once we returned, we were seated upstairs, which I actually prefer. It's noticeably less crowded and quieter than the main floor, making for a more relaxed experience. The menu offers a great variety, and their draft list is especially impressive for beer lovers. This time, I ordered one of their meal deals with mac and cheese, along with pretzels and beer cheese. Portion-wise, it did feel a bit small, but for the price of the deal, it made sense. That said, the flavor was a bit underwhelming. The mac and cheese and beer cheese dip both lacked that rich, cheesy taste I was expecting. The mac and cheese also had quite a bit of topping/breading, and the sauce was fairly loose, almost soupy in consistency. Since this was my first time ordering it, I'm not sure if that's typical. Overall, it's still a great downtown spot that offers something for everyone. The service was prompt and helpful, which definitely added to the experience.

When you've had a drink or two, it's all just throwing balls and knocking things over. Woodrows Duckpin is the only duckpin bowling alley in Grand Rapids, as far as I can tell. It's a great place to get a drink and knock things over. In fact, you should be aware that you can only get things to drink here -- they don't sell any food. But you're welcome to bring in your own food. We opted to just get beverages (sodas for kids, beer and wine for the adults) and eat elsewhere after we played. You can reserve a lane for an hour at a time. An hour of duckpin bowling was more than enough for me and my family! Games go by quickly, and I think we played three games in about 45 minutes, then peaced-out with 15 minutes left on our tab. (But we had our fun and got our money's worth.) Duckpin bowling uses smaller balls that are more lightweight than regular bowling balls, so it's easier for young kids to play. Think skee ball, but on a slightly larger scale. Honestly, I think I prefer duckpin bowling to regular bowling! It feels more laid-back and less serious. There's a nice lounge in Woodrows Duckpin, which is pleasant to sit in when you're not playing, or if you're waiting for your lane to be ready. Woodrows is also attached to the Amway Grand Plaza, so if you're staying at that hotel, it's just a quick jaunt downstairs.

The service is horrendous. The drinks were horrible. And the atmosphere was that of a high school cafeteria. Almost literally. We immediately spoke with these girls and contacted their parents and also let the Bar know. The Bar tenders did not care and I guess the owner whoever he or she is fully knows and is very supportive of this based off with the bartender and some regulars were alluding to. I would not be surprised if it is closed down within the next year or two.
