Construction has been part of my life for over a decade. Growing up around the industry, I learned early on that building something right takes more than just labor — it takes people who understand the full picture, from reading plans to managing budgets to navigating permits. That foundation pushed me to get licensed, build real project experience, and eventually start UC Building — a company built on the belief that every client deserves someone in their corner who truly knows the process.

Hi, I'm Simon, the Manager of UC Building. I'm a California-licensed General Contractor (CSLB Class B) and real estate licensee with over 10 years of experience in residential construction and development across the Greater Los Angeles area.
What sets us apart isn't just the licenses — it's the experience behind them. I read plans, catch problems in bids before they become expensive surprises, and manage projects in a way that avoids rework and keeps timelines on track. My team moves efficiently because we plan carefully upfront, not because we cut corners.
I'm also bilingual in English and Chinese, which means smoother communication for clients navigating contractors, permits, and inspections for the first time.
