A great, honest repair shop for your electronics... Had to have the battery replaced on my vintage 6th Gen iPod Nano. The work scope snowballed a bit, but they troubleshooted and came up with very practical solutions along the way. Thought they were very honest, up front, and charged a very fair price for the work. Good communication by the tech as the work progressed. So yay, just in time to take my "elevator" and oldies music on my upcoming 11 hr flight! read more

uBreakiFix by Asurion - My ancient device ... hopefully this battery replacement will last me another 12 years! - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Kailua, Hawaii

Poor service. This ubreakifix location in Kailua refused to accept my phone for warranty repair due to some minor scuff marks on the phone. The display would not turn on no matter what I did. I explained that it is a known issue with pixel phones and that Google recognizes this and has an extended 3 year display warranty in place. The website explicitly stated to take it to ubreakifix to get it fixed at no charge. I even brought the instructions from Google yet they refused to fix it because of minor almost unnoticeable scuff marks on the side of the phone. It is a 3 year warranty. Guess what I send it to Google at they fix no problem no questions needed to be answered. What is the deal with this store? They don't want to honor any warranty claims! read more

Unsafe drivers! 793TWY cut me off in the middle of an intersection today. Definitely would not recommend this business and will tell others!

I called to see how much it would be to replace a laptop battery. They asked if I was a member. I said "no." Gave them make and model. The quoted starting price was 690 dollars up to 900. Seemed insane from what I had found online for replacement. The representative said that that is what Apple charges. Called Apple. Getting in done tomorrow at the Apple store for $160.00. Go elsewhere or at the very least, get another bid. read more

Collin was amazing. He walked me through the whole process and was understanding & attentive, plus he's hot. Lol.

They claimed they could put McAfee on our Chromebooks, took them, then said they couldn't. They provided no other service and put a recurrent charge on my credit card and continued doing it after I objected to their main office! I'm trying to block the charge...what a nightmare read more

An amazing repair shop for iPhone and computers I had to get my iPhone x screen replaced. They said they could repair it in a day and they finished it in a day. While I was at the shop, they also had some great accerories for my iphone like a case and screen protector. They have fast and professional service I would say they are the best phone service on island and i would recommend going again. The value and the price is just on point its and its good for the value and they have different prices for the screens so if you dont want to pay the full price for a apple screen you can pay for a 3rd party screen. read more

Not sure about this place. Tried to see if they'd fix my PS5 an PS4 but all I got were excuses of why they can't.

I took my laptop here to get the keyboard replaced a few years ago. Over the weekend my laptop died & when I took it to the Apple Store they noted that when this company did the repairs they did a poor job of putting it back together & there was damaged parts and missing pieces. The Apple Store was surprised my laptop lasted as long as it did after being repaired by this company. I don't recommend this company for repair services for Apple products. read more

I brought in my PS5 for overheating and was told the repair would take 3-5 days. Instead, it took two weeks just to diagnose the issue. After that delay, I was informed that additional parts were needed and that the motherboard might also be the problem -- extending the wait time far beyond what was originally promised. What made this worse is that I had to call for updates myself since no one contacted me about the delays. When I declined further assistance, it still took an additional three days just to have my PS5 reassembled so I could pick it up. This entire process has been extremely frustrating and a complete waste of time and money, especially considering the subscription fee I was charged. read more

These guys are ridiculous don't trust them its a scam. They told me I could subscribe to there protection plan and it doesn't help you with any claims for shit. WASTE OF MONEY read more

I brought my phone there because it had a cracked screen on it and they charge me $220 to replace the screen. I got the phone back. It would press all kind of random buttons and turn off and on by itself so I brought it back because it was under warranty for them to fix and they kept it for three weeks and didn't even do anything to it and told me that it was fixed. I went back with the phone to tell them that they've made my phone even worse than it was when I returned it and they told me that my warranty had expired already and that there's nothing they could do about it and now I'm out $230 with a broken phone still read more

Previously replaced my iPhone 13 Pro battery - took less than a day. Recently wanted to replace my iPad 9 battery. They had to order the battery which took about a month, but once it came in I dropped off my iPad and it only took a couple of days to replace it. No complaints except I wish they had a "Take a Number" system because it can get crowded and they forget who's next in line. read more

Came to fix my samsung flip5 screen inner. Somehow, i came home with outside screen cracked. Drove 30 mins to come back check, they said its not their fault. Blame on my fault caused it. When i did not drop my phone and keep my phone very careful since then. Be caution, check your both screens (if u have flip5) careful before you go home. read more

Jadea, Shuya helped me today! Fast, friendly service and flawless screen replacement--my phone looks brand new again! Perfect job.

ubreakifix is one of the Samsung warranty repair companies. They also repair iPhone, computers and do warranty service for AT&T. I experienced a swollen battery on my Note 10 and it separated my case which is glued together. Not wanting to get it replaced under warranty again (14months ago) from the store I purchased it from and pay a $150 deductible then go through redoing all the apps and information on my phone. This time I decided to have ubreakifix do the repair and not hassle with transferring all my data from one phone to another new one. They had to order my battery and was told it takes around 3-5 days to come in. Well the battery came in 3 days and I was sent a text and an email of it's arrival. I took my phone in the next day to get it fixed. Dropped my phone off on a Saturday and because the Samsung calibration website was down for maintenance I had to wait till Monday for them to complete the repair. On Monday morning I got the email that it was done and ready to be picked up. ubreakifix did a good job changing out the battery and resealing my phone. Total price was $87.99 excluding tax, way cheaper than claiming warranty again. I was satisfied with fix. The only reason I minus a star is because of the time it took to respond to my emails. Other than that, I would use them again for my repairs. Located in Kailua across Moke's Bread and Breakfast. read more

Amazing quality they are super nice and the service is super quick. They fixed our stuff in a jiffy

Took my mom's Galaxy Z fold 3 phone to replace the inside screen protector. The initial sales person was awesome. Very personable, informative and great at customer service. When we returned to pick up the phone the sales person was gone and we had to deal with the tech who replaced the screen protector. Not very personable and he broke the brand new phone case we bought her for Christmas. His response for the "him broke it" problem was a very nonchalant, "well I can give you $10 off." We were so dissatisfied. My mom was getting very upset since now her new case is broken. I didn't want to ruin an otherwise good day spent together, I just paid for it and we left. Aside from the high prices I don't see myself recommending them to anyone I know. read more

Super easy to work with, very concerned about my problem (which NEVER happens with repair people, who usually act like I'm bothering them by bringing in my stuff for repair!), and stayed closely in touch throughout the process. I loved everything about this, including my phone working as good as new when they were done! This was my second repair with this shop (two different phones), and while I hope I don't need them again, you better believe that if anything goes wrong with any of my gear in the future, I'll be taking it straight here! read more

Harm is great at customer service and solved my phone issue right away!! I was only in thr store for 10 min - in and out! Mahalo Harm!

Harm was incredibly helpful pointing me in the right direction rather than just trying to sell me a new charging port (mine broke). He suggested I take a look into my account with Verizon and perhaps just get a new plan with t mobile incorporating their new client deals. He also said stay away from the spectrum plans with their ultra cheap plans as they have terrible reception. Thx brother! read more

I love this place. It was my third or fourth time having trouble with my phone or tablet, and the technician was able to diagnose my problem in just a few minutes. It wasn't a battery going bad, as I had thought. Whenever I came in, they were polite, didn't talk down to me, or treat me as though I was an idiot senior citizen who had no business owning a smartphone. They explained thoroughly, and in this most recent visit, I was able to go home and take care of the problem. read more

Brant did a wonderful and quick job fixing my iPhone 11 cracked screen! Looks as good as new and it was only $140

I made the appointment for the next day online , which required me to provide details of my phone model and issue. When I got there, I was surprised that the tech didn't know if they had the part in stock. He had to go in the back to check. In total, I received 3 emails and 2 text messages to remind me that I had an appointment the next day. I get it. People not showing up for their appointment is rude and can be aggravating. But my time should be considered too. It would also be aggravating to drive all the way there to be told they didn'thave the part. Especially after providing the details of my issue. Thankfully, they had the part I needed. In the end, my device was repaired nicely, and I'm satisfied. To the customer, just call and verify they have the part you need before driving there. The info you provide online is for nothing, I guess. read more

I had a great experience with this place. Kyle was friendly, professional, and fixed my I-Phone issue right away. I highly recommend them.

It was Sunday afternoon and I opened my laptop to do some work. My monitor would not light up a continuous light flickered. In desperation due to time sensitivity I googled computer repair shops in my area. Grateful uBreakiFix was open. I was greeted by friendly staff with patience and understanding. The service rep immediately shared all possibilities and said he would try testing the laptop with the use of another monitor. After a few minutes he returned with my laptop on and back to normal. He shared insight on proper start up and shut down procedure. Truly grateful for the professional service and resolution all on a Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend uBreakiFix! read more

I went to have my Acer i5 for repair in the Kapolei location and was charge a service fee without diagnosis. the manager insisted that they charge the fee the minute the start working on the pc. the work they have done was removed 4 screws and said they can not remove the screen and concluded unfixable. At first the technician was willing not to charge me because he know he have not done a thing but the manager insisted I had to pay $59. For taking out 4 screws and putting it back? what a rip off. Besides, a tech that can figure out to remove the screen is out of this world but that's what the services are. I was disappointed and do not recommend this place. Management can reach me at my phone number to clear this up. that's not the way to earn trust of the customers. Beware of that place. read more

The staff is very low and unorganized. We waited for 30 minutes just to speak to a worker. There was a significant lack of staff, which has led to long wait times and inadequate customer service. On 1/22/25, I encountered a particularly frustrating situation where the store manager, working at 6:00 pm, was unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns. Despite the obvious understaffing, the manager did not seem to be making any effort to address the issue, as I only needed to pick up a computer. This lack of attention to customer service and staff support is disappointing and does not reflect well on your store's reputation. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure a better shopping experience for all customers. read more

My boyfriend has AT&T and his phone screen got broken snowboarding. Got home to Hawaii and even though the AT&T on Ward is the closest to us, they told us even though he had phone insurance, they couldn't fix his phone at their place in town and that we had to drive to uBreakiFix in Kailua (across Moke's) since that's who they have contracted to fix broken AT&T phones. We got there and the guy working was super nice, fixed the screen in under an hour. Found out after that we could have just made an appointment with uBreakiFix and they could've sent someone to meet us in town (like a McDonalds or Jack in the Box parking lot) to fix the phone. So if you have a contract with AT&T and they tell you that you need to go to this place in Kailua, just call uBreakiFix and ask them to meet you in town so you save on the price of gas to drive out there. Apparently they have everything they need to fix your phone in their van and are cool driving to meet you anywhere. read more

I cracked my iPhone screen and was able to use my Verizon plan to cover most of the cost. Through Verizon they showed me which locations I was able to drop off my phone to get fixed. So refreshing to deal with a tech business that is so well run, every single employee I dealt with was incredibly helpful, supportive, instructional, and patient. They are both friendly and people oriented AND tech savvy smart. Those two qualities together do not represent my typical tech experience. I feel grateful that Kailua has this resource. Makes an insurmountable tech crisis a small glitch in your day. And if for some reason, resolution is beyond their scope, they will refer you to another resource, with a plan of action, who may or may not be able to help. In my case, no one else could help either as far as data retrieval. But the fact that they tried so hard was greatly appreciated. Thank you, you guys!!!! read more

Samsung sent me to the store in Kailua and I was helped by Ian. He was great but it was close to closing time so he said he would work on the phone the following day and call us. By late afternoon I hadn't heard anything so I called and was told that they were busy with walk-ins all day and my phone had not yet been touched. I was bothered by this and said so. Ian said that his boss Jose had directed them to help the walk-ins first (he already has my bu$ine$$ so better focus on what's coming through the door... that's GREED for you) and that he was very sorry but that he would be sure to deal with the phone the following day. I decided to call the next day to make sure things were being handled and again was told that they had a lobby full of customers so they had not yet taken a look at my phone. At this point I was quite upset and asked to speak with the manager. This was day three without a phone and I use my phone for home life but also at work so it's a big inconvenience to be without. I spoke with Jose the owner and explained that it made no sense to be helping the walk-in's that were coming through the door that day before my phone a walk-in from three days before. He didn't seem to see any issue with this and proceeded to tell me that I needed to calm down. We argued and I hung up. He then called me back and told me I had disrespected him and therefore he would no longer provide me with the service we had agreed upon and that I should come and pick up my phone. This is the only repair store on island that Samsung works with. I think this is horrible business practice. read more

Pros: - Great location at Kailua when you have to wait -- you can walk in to nearby diner or thai massage next door on a Wesnesday afternoon. - Friendly staff to greet you, check you in - short 5 minute wait time at 3pm on a Wednesday. -Easy to find, parking space great from 3 to 5pm then it gets busy and packed by 6pm. Cons: - No trashcan around and no public restrooms. But if you're super clean and super nice there is good karma with aloha. - Only location available right now March 2021 is in Kailua for samsung screen repair that Assurion (carrier screen repair insurance company) lists closest to honolulu. Great location and afternoon hours because... Booked through Assurion for my samsung device screen repair. It was the only in person insured repair shop. Walked in & after 5 minute wait I gave my info they found my claim booking and brought my device in the back for diagnosis. Said it'll be 60-90minutes -- Inbetween wait -- One rep noticed my tech (had ipad and snapchat glasses on) & asked me some questions. Gave me info about their awesome all in 1 assurion home+ plan for $24.99/mo to cover so many devices at home whether they are devices i take on the road, but it doesnt apply to me right now and will consider in the future when my current plan runs out and I have all those devices to protect. #bucketlist #Smarthome They asked how to get intouch with me when it's ready -- I said no worries I'll be back before closing (7pm) because I walked in next door for a 30 minute high quality thai massage (based on walk in availability) and down a few more feet was the Kailua Pub for dessert. :) Device was shiny and looked brand new again. No issues. Clean. Happy to get fixed so easily and smooth process. read more
