I came in with a cracked screen. Nothing else wrong, no issue functionally, just an annoying crack in my screen. I was told 2-3 hours. I came back at 2 1/2 hours and was told it would be another hour. I waited at the store for ANOTHER 2 1/2 hours only to be told that they installed the wrong screen and I need to leave me phone until Monday so they could install the correct screen. I said absolutely not, and they told me they cannot let me leave with the screen they installed. I said fine, and they were supposed to put back my old cracked one. For whatever reason, they did not put back the old one and I was told to come back first thing Monday (i.e. today). I turned my phone on, and it was missing the S Pen, it said NO SIM - Emergency call only, and it immediately overheated and turned off. I called the store from my husband's phone and was told to leave it off for a bit and the issues would resolve - that it was just because it had been heated up to remove the screen. I left it off for another 2 1/2 hours and still had the same issues. I called again and was told again to come back Monday (today). I came back in first thing this morning and was told it would be 4hours. It has now been 4 1/2 hours. I called and they said it will be another hour. I showed up 1 hr and 20 minutes later to be told the exact same thing - - "We are running diagnostics." I did not get my phone back for another hour and a half. For anyone not wanting to add this up . . . Saturday I was told 2-3 hours and it took 5 1/2 hours to get a BROKEN PHONE back that was not broken beyond an AESTHETIC crack on the screen when I dropped it off. On Monday, my second visit, I was told 4 hours, and it took 7 1/2 hours. While waiting for my phone I got to chat with 8 other customers who had similar OR WORSE stories about this place and their experience. This is completely ridiculous nonsense and the absolute worst business you can go to in my opinion. They give you BS explanations and time frames and don't give a f*** how long they take or if they RUIN your device. I cannot believe any companies (Verizon, Xfinity, Asurion, Verify, etc.) are willing to pay/partner with this business for insurance and warranty claims as, from my experience and in my opinion, this shop is a huge liability. My only piece of advice is to GO ANYWHERE ELSE. ** Also, be weary of any 5 star reviews - - based on my experience and what I witnessed with over a dozen other customers today, those reviews are likely not legit. read more

I took my phone in for a battery replacement and after within hours after picking it up I noticed my camera wasn't working properly. When I took it back in, they said I must have dropped it (I didn't) and they wanted me to pay them to replace the camera. So I basically paid them to break my camera. Awful business. read more

I went in to get my ipad repaired, they told me that it would take a week or less to have the screen arrive. I paid a 70$ deposit for them to order the screen. After 3 weeks and i called them they didnt pick up and i left a voicemail and they never called back. So now 4 weeks later i called them today, and they told me that thry used the screen on someone esles ipad. And i would either wait for antoher screen to arrive or get a refund. I choose the refund and they gave me a number to sort it out, which after spending 30 minutes on the phone they told me they cant do anything and id have to go in person today. I think overall this might have been a blessing in disguise after reading these reviews. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS BUSINESS!!!! SEE ATTACHED APPLE GENIUS BAR REPORT. They damaged a perfectly working phone and lied about it multiple times. I came in for a battery replacement. After 5 hours and being told I would receive an email when the phone was ready, which I never received ... the phone would turn off consistent after one minute. I was told it was most likely a bad replacement battery. They said they would replace with a new battery and call me at a secondary number before the end of the business day. They never called. I call with about 15 minutes left before they closed and they said the phone had a new battery and it worked fine. Because it was so late in the day, I had to wait until the next day to pick up the phone. Upon arriving the next day, I could tell within one minute that the phone had the same issue, turning off after being on for one minute. After talking to several people , I technician came out from the back and told me the phone had some heating issues, he showed me an extremely blurry picture of the inside of "a phone". He said he specifically talked to me the day before about the issue. I said this was untrue and that he was lieing. He was very sheepest during the whole conversation and would not look directly at me the entire time. Later he said. well I told another employee about it. Someone else said they would investigate the phone and contact me when he had a resolution. After another 3 hours and no contact, I returned. The person said he put the original Apple battery in the phone but could not get it to work. I then took the phone to an Apple Store. They said the original battery was not in the phone and that the display had been damaged during the process of replacing batteries. The Apple rep said that any heating issues would not cause the display issue that was present. The security screws are missing as well! I want to be compensated the $318 for my hardship, loss of phone usage, and for incredibly poor service which includes multiple lies and deception. The company's response makes no sense! Are they going to warrranty the damage to my phone for one full year??? The technicians said there is nothing else they can do, why would I go back to such incompetence! read more

Great service and super knowledgeable staff. The right corner "button" on my wife's Samsung laptop touch pad stopped working. I took it to my local ubreakifix and told them about this broken "button". The guy looked the laptop over, literally, and said the touch pad was OK but the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. What? All you did was look at it, I said. Then he flipped it over and showed me how the bottom of the case was ever so slightly bulging and said that was from the the swollen battery which was putting upward pressure on the touch pad, preventing its "button" from moving. He took my laptop in the back, opened up the case and brought it back out to show me the swollen battery. Sure enough, that was indeed the problem. He ordered in a new battery and had it two days later and replaced it while I waited. My wife's laptop is as good as new! $150 for the repair sure beat $1,500 for a new laptop! read more

Took my phone to the Fort Collins store for issues with the charge port not working. They said they could fix it for $225 which I stated was steep since the part is $15-30. They told me they had to use OEM parts, which I prefer. They repaired and returned later that day. Port worked. Next day is discovered the phone has a new noise issue when using on speaker. Took back to them since this was created by them changing the port. They kept most of the day and told me it was good that the aftermarket charge port (told it had to be OEM by them) had such a sensitive speaker and aftermarket charge ports pass quality checks like the speaker being outside of OEM standards yet good enough for aftermarket. I asked for an OEM port be installed, now they tell me they cannot install OEM ports, despite being told that was why the cost was so high. I politely asked what could be done, they said nothing. "This isn't a warrantable item by their company policy because it is operable." I stated it isn't operable because I cannot use the phone while on a call because it creates noise for the other person on the phone. They again told me there was nothing they could do. The general manager of the store was included in the discussion and he said they wouldn't do anything to help the situation because the corporate policy says the situation isn't warrantable. DON'T TAKE YOUR EQUIPMENT TO THIS COMPANY, THEY AREN'T HONEST, THEY CHARGE YOU 20X THE COST OF THE PART AND MAY DAMAGE YOUR PHONE AND TELL YOU TO DEAL WITH IT!! I also asked for a refund, they said no. I even offered to pay for the part and a reasonable labor amount, they said no. They were unwilling to do anything to help solve an issue they created by being dishonest. read more

I live in a small town an hour away from Fort Collins. I was going to pass through Fort Collins last Friday (4/21/23) evening and then back again on Sunday. I called to ask about dropping it off on Friday and picking it up on Sunday and was told that it would be ready, so I made an appointment. When I showed up to drop it off, I was told that they would not be open on Sunday, contrary to the hours on their front door. When I asked if they could mail it to me once completed, I was told that they could only mail it to me if I mailed it to them first. No effort to say, "let's just begin the mail-in process and you can just leave it here." So there I was in the store, with a broken phone in my hand, willing to give them money to fix it, and I was essentially turned away. Turns out it was cheaper to mail it to the Google repair center in Texas and have them fix it, so it's not a total loss for me. read more

Please read before doing business here! I took my phone in here to get a screen replaced. They replaced it in a timely manner and had no issues until.... The next morning I got into my car and looked at my phone. I notice a perfectly straight crack across the top of my screen going to each side. I immediately took the phone in, because they mention having a warranty when buying it. What they don't mention is this warranty is " for hardware only not the screen itself, so like a screw"(their lovely worker). I then explained how that is a terrible warranty, and that they need to explain what the warranty actually protects and that if your screen randomly cracks the next day because y'all use cheap replacements and not apple screens that the warranty will not cover it. Moral of the story set up an appointment with the Apple in Boulder on their website. Go there, they'll do a much better job. Will back their products. The WORST!!! The manager, currently John, is rude, disrespectful, aggressive, and unstable. The customer agents are unhelpful and unwilling to assist with basic tasks like retrieve a claim to have a phone fixed for them to make money. The manager did not like that there was talk about speaking with the owner and became unglued when suggested (yelling and then hanging up). Update: I took it in about a week ago again to get my phone's screen fixed as well as have them check the vibration and battery because after I brought it in the first time the battery would last MAYBE 5 hours if I wasn't using it. I brought it in first thing in the morning, hoping to hear back midafternoon but nope! Didn't get a call at all that day. No big deal, irritating sure, but not the end of the world. So I wait until the next day for a call. It got to be around 3pm and I was tired of waiting so I gave them a call. They let me know that they fixed the screen but they had to order a new vibration roter and it would get there in about a week. Cool, but why was I not informed?? Not even a call. So I went and picked it up that day, pretty peeved about the lack of communication. They also did not address the battery like I asked them to. So yesterday I finally hear back that the roter was in and I could bring my phone in for the THIRD time to get it "fixed". I bring it in today around 12pm and they said it should take about 3-4 hours. They call us close to 5pm to say that they still don't know why my phone won't vibrate. The new roter didn't work. But not to worry! You can just send it to the Boulder location for 3 weeks with no loaner and it MIGHT be fixed! What a dream come true! I told them I would not be doing that and I would be coming by to pick it up right away. And guess what? They still did nothing about my battery! And now there are little pink dots on my screen :) called them one last time to let them know about this and all they had to say was "can't you clean it off? When it left the store it was fine" Apparently they assume I did something to cause these dead pixels within the 15 minutes that it took me to drive home. So, all this to say, don't bother. Wow. We had my wifes phone iPhone7 screen replaced three weeks ago at this establishment. They were super quick. My wife pulled the phone of pocket and the screen was broken. She called this morning to ask about the warranty. She was yelled at and accused of breaking the phone. She was just calling to find out what the warranty situation was, and she was belittled and hung up on. Found this place through Samsung's website, since it's a certified Samsung repair center for mobile devices. My mom accidentally fell and cracked her display on her Galaxy S10e. I'm an Apple fan, so I knew where to go if it'd had been an iPhone. Made an appointment online, showed up. An employee called me before it opened and I said I was outside and she opened the door for me and was beyond helpful. Did a visual inspection, said it wouldn't be a problem to fix, and the price was what Samsung said it would be on their website. It took two hours, so I went to a local Starbucks and did homework. They called me when it was done, picked it up, absolutely perfect job. Came with a 90 warranty through them due to the repair. Awesome place, if you have a non-Apple phone, and have a hard time finding a place to do repair, this is the place. Great job, phenomenal customer service! read more

I have always been impressed and very happy with the services from any of the Asurion stores I have used for my electronic issues, and this Ft Collins location was no exception. I am on vacation and had an issue with the charging port of my phone, so because I had used Asurion before, I took it to them. Not only did they quickly remedy the issue..but they did not even charge me. This is not the first time they have preformed a minor fix (but a BIG fix for me) without a fee. There have been times they could have really taken advantage of me if they wanted to. One time I thought something was wrong with my phone that would be an expensive fix, but when their very competent technician diagnosed the issue, it was, in fact, something much less costly, They charged me a fraction of what I was prepared to pay. I feel like they are both very competent, fair and honest and all done with a smile. read more

They replaced my s10+ screen after it stopped working correctly. It had a pink line running down the right side. I was hoping that they would be able to tell me what happened to the screen but there was no visible damage so it was hard to tell. Kat went the extra mile to help us through a stressful situation. She called Samsung and made sure it was covered under warranty because there were no signs of damage. The phone is also perfect. It is like having a brand new phone. First off, let me start by saying my son dropped his phone and the screen broke. That's on him. Have gone to this location for 3 of our phones and the only reason I give them 3 stars is because the other 2 screens they replaced we had a wonderful experience. They did amazing work and those phones still function to this day. However, on Sept 8th my sons Iphone 11's screen was replaced and was told that if we had any issues with the functionality of the phone as it relates to the screen that was replaced to bring it in. On Sept 29th called ahead to be respectful of their time and asked if I needed to have an appointment to look at the phone they repaired on the 8th. Was told they were busy and may be able to get to it by the end of the day. No problem, went in around 3, was prepared to drop it off and have them take a look. They scanned my receipt and that was the end of my business with them. The notes in their system indicated that the back glass was broken so the screen they replaced on the front may not function as it once did. First of all, if I was told that, I would not have paid the $150 to have it replaced to begin with. Second, TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK! At least give us the respect and take a look inside just in case something didn't connect properly. NO ONE is perfect, we all make mistakes. Think about it. You fixed it on the 8th, it worked fine for 20 plus days now it won't scroll and some lines are showing up intermittently. It never crossed your mind that the possibility of something coming loose existed. Lost my business, to bad too because there are some wonderful folks that work there. read more

They updated my OLD iPhone 6s with a new battery and now it's a NEW iPhone 6s. Price was great and the services was better. I wasn't able to connect to the internet due to a software update issue.
