Everything! In Las Vegas I experienced 2 RESERVED UBER cancellations. We were not late. One Uber cancelled 8 minutes after confirming pickup. A 3rd Uber we had to request gave us the stall number at the Las Vegas airport and literally drove off with another fare as we walked up to!! That's just the terrible drivers. Uber then proceeded to bill us for cancellation fees $30 each, and $28 reservation fee. The "add one" were almost twice as expensive as the actual fare cost. Beware! Uber hires people who do not communicate in English, and who are careless. I scheduled an Uber for my daughter and a friend who was a stranger to me, and I scheduled the trip to include a stop in between so the driver can drop off this girl first, as I did not want this girl knowing where we live. Aside from that I was out running errands - hence to why I ordered the Uber to make these trips for me in the first place. The Uber driver was not listening to my daughter when she told him he passed the friend's address (which I had included to be the first stop), and then when my daughter called me to tell me this while still in the Uber vehicle, my daughter notified the driver that I will be calling him, and as I called him, he completely ignored my calls (as my daughter watched him let my calls go to voicemail), and then I sent several messages (even one in Spanish although my daughter mentioned his language did not sound like English or Spanish) to the driver reminding him about the first stop address I provided, but the driver proceeded to ignore me. Ultimately, the driver skipped my daughter's friend's address and dropped both of them off at my house. I ended up having to leave the store I was at, head back home which took a good 30 minutes, leave my husband and kids at home, then drop off my daughter's friend at home. I wasted time, money, and gas, and I am not happy that this girl we don't know now knows where we live. I contacted Uber in various forms and requested a refund but Uber refused stating that based off their records this experience does not "qualify" for a refund?? Not even a partial one to make up for the driver's negligence!? I decided to delete my account with Uber and use Lyft from now on. I would not ever recommend Uber to anyone, as their driver's actions and negligences are a danger to us as passengers. I would provide a picture of the driver I am speaking of, but out of fear of retaliation, because this driver has my address now, I will not be posting it. Uber sucks! I hardly ever use these services but, needed to get an Uber ride to take me to the airport on Christmas morning. I made an appointment and, on Christmas morning, I got up and got ready. At around 5:15am I checked the app and was locked out. I then got worried and had to start scrambling to get myself to the airport since I was guessing no one was going to show up to pick me up. Needless to say, no one came and I had to drive myself to the airport and pay $27/day for parking. When I emailed Uber about it, I got canned answers that I had violated their terms of service. WTH? What did I do? Nothing at all and I have not gotten any explanation from the company. They kept sending emails saying it was done as a precautionary measure. WTH!? Precaution from what??? I called an Uber to pick me up inside a gated area last Friday. I texted him in advance the location of the main gate to gain entry. It took him over 17 minutes to get to the gate. He was supposed to arrive in less than 10 more nites. he must have gone to the back gate which is locked to the public. I called the driver to say I was going to be late for a doctors appointment. I had notified the guard to let him in. The guard let him through and called me to say he was on his way. The guard called back a minute later to say the driver took a u turn around the gate and left. I got another Uber and arrived over 15 minutes late. They worried I was too late to be seen, but I was able to wait over an hour and see the doctor. To rub it in the driver charged me the full fare for a ride that was never completed. read more

Yes, Uber can pick up and drop off at PHX! PICK UP: If you're on the north side of the airport, head to "area 1". On the south side, "area 8". EXPERIENCE: From PHX to our hotel (Hyatt Regency Phoenix) was about $15. We did short jaunts to and from Tempe as well. Prices were very affordable as well and traffic was never a concern. GPS location was very accurate here. IMO, Phoenix has the best roads in the nation. I lived in the area back in the mid 90's and loved driving here. Uber delivery is no good. The delivery driver hired to bring an item to me, my iphone actually, in a bag, stole it. She delivered a bouquet of flowers I am presuming meant for someone else and kept my phone. Uber delivery is not doing anything about it. As they have been contacted. Ivan the Uber driver delivered my Walmart grocery delivery, but he STOLE about $100 of it, about half of total order of about $200. About 12 midnight on Friday/Saturday night I checked Uber's cost from the airport to our house. It said $25 +some cents. When I confirmed it, the app said $22 + some cents. When the bill arrived it was $39.21. I've spent almost 40 minutes trying to put this on Uber's app. Although it lists my situation on one page, on the next page it doesn't give me the option and they provide NO phone number to reach Uber. BE AWARE, that Uber will over charge you and not give you the option to talk to them about it. I went to uber's facebook account and tried to "chat" with them, discovered it was a machine I was "chatting" with - a company who cares so little they have NO human to talk with another human. Uber needs to update their app so you can see there you're picking up and dropping off. No one wants to be constantly drop off in Mesa from West Phx... not me. The money to go that far isn't worth it either. The airport is good money... but then the hassle. You can only do it a few rides at a time before you go crazy. Sign up for UBER (eats deliveries) was a pain in the arse. They require you be identified with a Facebook Account. It's ridiculous. If anyone is deciding on using a Waymo or an Uber, use a Waymo 100% because Ubering is a fucking safety issue. There is already horrendous stories of women getting trafficked or sexually assaulted by their uber drivers, as well as the fact that they will cancel on you 5 minutes before they are there and leave you fucked. I really don't look forward to giving anyone a bad review but Uber literally earned this. I have only used this service 3 or 4 times and every single time has been worse than the time before. Their drivers are literally as dumb as a rock. They never know where they are going and I've almost been involved in accidents twice and their drivers are probably as dishonest as one can imagine. One driver took me 3 miles out of my way just to boost the fare. I also don't appreciate Uber drivers asking me out on dates when all I want to do is get a ride to the store. That is just so creepy. Ride sharing is a great concept but if you don't provide good quality drivers who are decent people that just doesn't make sense to me. Absolutely unreliable! My first experience with Uber. I scheduled an Uber ride to a hospital for surgery in advance and received a number of texts to confirm. I was told I would hear from a driver 20 or more minutes before the ride time. When I didn't hear from them 10-15 minutes before the ride, I called and they said they CANCELED MY RIDE BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T FIND A DRIVER (??) without notifying me. I was waiting for an urgent ride that wasn't going to show up. They said I could order a new ride, and they got me one instantly. So why, then, did they cancel my ride if they could get me one instantly? This company doesn't make sense. They were very rude on the phone and didn't try to meet my needs, knowing I was going to the hospital for surgery. I maintained my courtesy to them, though I was quite angry. One of Uber's drivers,(Eddy) IMHO, needs therapy at the least. How he got to be an Uber driver to begin with is anybody's guess. A friend of mine called for an Uber and had the misfortune of getting him for a driver. While in his car, she had to take an overseas call. She asked him to turn his music down. In response, he turned his music up louder. At the end of the ride, she commented to him that she was not happy with his conduct. Most Uber drivers have the courtesy to ask if their music is bothersome. Come on, otherwise their lack of courtesy would show in their tips. Allegedly, based on another witness's account, the driver became unhinged and shouted at the customer as she was exiting his vehicle. He called her a "b!tch" and remarked that she needed to get her own car. The customer then stated that she was going to report him to Uber administration, as he pulled away. He then turned his vehicle around and shouted out his window, that if she reported him to Uber, he knew where she lived, again calling her a b!tch as he hurled his threatening words. Problem is, that's NOT where she lives. She was just visiting a family she knows. Now that family has been losing sleep over the incident. Even though the local police were called within minutes and a report was taken, to their knowledge thus far, the police didn't pursue the guy, even though they had his license plate number, make and model of his vehicle. Since then, the guy HAS been reported to Uber, but they have done nothing, not to mention how difficult Uber makes it to actually get to the place on their website where someone can write in a complaint. They keep saying that the customer who was in the Uber driver's car needs to write in a complaint before they will address the issue. She is traumatized and doesn't want to pursue this because she's afraid that "Eddy" will retaliate against the people whose home she was visiting. I used to love this company. Now not so much. I bought a gift card on the app which they solicit you to do. I sent it to my daughter's email. She has attempted to use it several times and it always reply's back "Payment option unavailable". "support" (and I use the term VERY loosely) auto responds they need more information...I have explained 3X NOW with the same auto response requesting more information. they will NOT use the phone and apparently can't understand a very clear issue. Uber is a horrible app to drive for. Their rider support and customer support is nonexistent. Fare payouts for the driver are low can don't calculate for the miles before the rider is in the vehicle with you. The company also takes a good portion of our hard earned overhead. Have to drive during peak time when the app does the promos to even make money that is worth it, on top of the ware and tear, time, and the hassle it is to use their app. Uber gets an F+ in my book for taking away hard earned driver status as well based on calculations that the app also always gets wrong because it doesn't work or load for shit. read more

Heading to Airport for business. I travel once a month and always use rideshare. They usually arrive within 5 min. I also use for events and when my husband and I go out! I've never had any issues with uber. They are reasonably priced, although can get pricey during peak times. Most my drivers have had nice cars, ac, and clean. I haven't had any unsafe drivers and find uber reliable transportation. I have thier app on my phone and it's so convenient. I am able to save a business and personal profile. I can switch easily between credit card and email reciepts go to without ever logging out. You can split your fair or share your ride with a touch of a button. Very handy! read more

So my friends have been urging me to try Uber for like forever And I finally broke down and downloaded the Uber app . The app is pretty simple to use although I don't think it's anything special . And I started using Uber about 3 weeks ago. Over the last few weeks I probably used Uber several times. So I can report the following : Their drivers are mostly idiots . Their cars are old for the most part and crappy. Not much better than an old beat up taxi and usually worse. Their drivers definitely have issues in terms of personality disorder, horrible hygiene (they smell) and bad bad bad attitude. I have heard several complaints from the drivers about not getting paid very much and how they hardly make any money. I have also been overcharged by the Uber app half of the times I used them. The bottom line here is is that despite what my friends say I think that Uber just sucks. I would much rather support a good local taxi company any day than deal with the disgusting creatures that drive the beat up wrecks that Uber has on the road . Also did you know you can't even call Uber on the phone ? When you have a problem you have to send them an email and then wait until they get around to responding to you . That is a total lack of customer service and a total lack of consideration for their users . Oh my God I cannot tell you how awful this company is. I have used you Uber at least 9 to 10 times over the last month and every time the driver has been horrible. Do any of Ubers drivers take showers????? Because hygiene with these people is a major issue. On two occasions there was vomit on the floor of a car. At least once a driver try to hit on me. And on one occasion the driver appeared to be slightly impaired either on medication or possibly alcohol. I am so sick of this company I cannot even tell you.
