Great Experience, Great Value, Excellent Service With Yelp's new feature, several messages were sent to local contractors to help with my TV mount install. Eddie wasn't my first choice because others had more reviews. However, Eddie was the first to reply, had the best prices on the West Side and was able to get me scheduled in less than 24 hours! Overall the experience was seamless. Eddie showed up on time and all was able to get my TV mounted with the additional work to get the cables hidden in less than 90 minutes. He brought additional gear (e.g. extension cables, screws, mounts) in case I didn't have them already. He showed me industry tips and tricks for if I wanted to add additional wiring in the future. I contacted U tech for installation of an already purchased 6 - 4K security camera system. I chose U tech, because Eddie, the owner, contacted me back promptly and his price was fair compared to other companies. Eddie was available to come install the system the very next day. He did an excellent job placing the cameras as well as hiding the wires as much as possible. He also help set up the system so I could view it on my TV as well as on my cell phone with the proper APP! I had to get dedicated wiring for my internet and I hired Eddie to do the work. He was very professional, competent, and reasonably priced. He had to install a coaxial wire from my 2nd floor office, up through the attic to get to the other side of the house, run it outside down and into the crawl space and pull it out to the cable box connection. There were certainly challenges in getting the wiring down and Eddie was thoughtful in making sure the minimal amount of wiring would be visible and not necessarily doing it the easiest. The FIOS cable technician was even impressed with his work and said that they would have never done as good a job as what Eddie did. Impressed with his work, Eddie also installed my RING doorbell. I do not have a hardwire doorbell and it has been a problem when the battery unknowingly runs out. Eddie was able to easily hardwire my RING doorbell using an outlet that was easily accessible from the doorbell device to the inside of the house. Except for the charger that is always plugged into the outlet as the power source, you can't see any of the wiring that was installed. If you ever need any wiring done, I highly recommend Eddie and UTech. They are very competitively priced and will do an excellent job. read more

We still have a physical antenna on the roof. The cable that attaches to the TV was frayed and causing a disconnect - many channels wouldn't broadcast. Very few technicians actually know how to fix this, plus it was such a small job that even if they know how to fix it, don't want to waste their time.
