Every step along the staff was helpful and very nice. They even have a bathroom onsite that is super clean. I would recommend Jamison to anyone in Bend who needs a unit. But plan ahead!!! It is climate-controlled (AC in summer; heat in winter), so that is very helpful for storing our stuff. The staff are friendly and helpful, and Barbie, the manager, explained clearly everything we needed to know. Our move-in (with a commercial moving van) went flawlessly, and since then, we've gone by at various hours to put additional stuff in the storage unit. There are always plenty of carts available for transporting our stuff. My only (small!) suggestion for them is to get a better loading ramp, with a smoother surface, to facilitate wheeled carts. I think they're on it already, though--when I talked to Barbie, she said they knew it was difficult and they planned to build a better ramp.

Jason and his team were phenomenal on my move last week. He and his staff were very professional,…read morepunctual and really worked hard. Jason's many years of experience really showed. They wrapped everything that could possibly be damaged and took extra pains with the boxes with my dishware and breakables. When I unpacked, there was NO DAMAGE to anything. This is the first time (in over 15 moves) that I can say that. Although my move was just across the state (and they generally do much bigger moves than mine), they fit me into their schedule on less than two weeks notice which saved me. They charged a very fair price for their services and the final amount and the estimate given were virtually identical. The move occurred in a howling snow storm and the destination required some gnarly driving conditions, but Jason and his team actually showed up a little early on pickup and delivery. If you are in central Oregon and want to support a local business that takes real pride in service, call Jason. He may take a little while to get back to you because he is on a job but you won't wait long and you will be in the very best of hands.

The storage unit location is very convenient right at the north end of town, however several units…read morehave been broken into at this site just a few units down from ours the owner let us know someone stole thousands of dollars worth of tools and belongings and 3 or 4 got hit at the same time and they had heard from the Police that this storage gets hit a lot. Make sure you use a round storage lock on your unit if you rent from them. Not related to this site but Northwest Self Storage itself I think is unethical in their pricing, the online price is to just to get you through the door and they have in their contract that they can raise your rent 2 times within a year. We have only had our unit since July and at the 6 month mark it went up 50.00 per month, but online it still shows the original price and it is only being offered on a new customer and unit.

I have used them several times through the years while I was doing the restoration on my house, and more recently after selling my house, while looking for a new place. They have always gone out of their way to make things as easy as possible. They're prices for the units are lower than most, even though their quality is higher than most, and the units are all very accessible. I can't recommend them enough.
