I went to remove my items and there was a lock on my unit which makes no sense I have not been in viol of my lease , my payments come directly out of my account and I have documentation that proves that. I tried to ask when the lock was placed , why is was placed , why I was not notified and NO ONE has any information or answers for me which makes no sense at all to me because being in the management field everything as such should be documented so this is definitely poor management. But the excuse they give me is because my September payment for this month declined inwhich I told them that is a BS excuse because I've been trying to get my stuff out since before the beginning of September and it declined because I took it off of autpay for this month because I've been trying to get my belongings out to vacate the property. So then they had contacted management it took awhile for management to get in contact with me . And when I spoke to management he had said he put a combo lock on my unit and that he would text me the code for it well now the gate code is changed so he said let him know when I'm there and he will open the gate. Well I still never got the message with the combo for the lock and I still have not gotten ahold of him. And then I call back again and I'm told I can't get into my unit until I pay my balance for this month and I had already let management know I plan on vacating and I'm not going to be paying it inwhich he was ok with . But I've been getting the run around the past 3 weeks and I'm getting very frustrated as something isn't right. My unit had no reason for my lock to be removed, nor their lock put on it rather I'm active in it or not because it is still faithfully paid every month and I have not violated anything in my lease agreement and it has my belongings in there , collections of all kinds , personal items , household items , my grandkids things , sentimental items etc. and now I don't what's going on or why I'm getting the run around and I definitely don't understand why no one can tell me anything and literally have zero answers for me. Shouldn't things like this be noted in my account and shouldn't I have been contacted? this is making me very upset and messing with my anxiety, PTSD and my nerves at that which in return messes with my chrohns which is very painful at times. I've had to pay my help to go help me move inwhich I've been unsuccessful because of not being able to get in and I've rented a truck but I can't keep it because I'm low income so I'm out money that i have had to borrow at this point to jus keep getting the run around. I rent a box truck and a pickup with a trailer for a weekend event every year. I've booked here (and their former location a mile down the road) for the last three years. Although snippy attitudes, badmouthing corporate, some department called "traffic" and overall rudeness has been around all three times I've rented, this year she simply refused to help me. I made my reservation in February and had my order number and printout handy. When I arrived, I was told my reservation had been cancelled. "By who", I asked. "I don't know, probably you" came the reply. When I insisted that I did not cancel my reservation, I was told "sorry. I don't have trucks" and dismissed me. When I said "you know, I've had a problem for the last three years here" I got a sarcastic smile and a "thank you" from her. I'll never rent here again, and before my fourth year needing a truck, I'll search everywhere else before being forced to settle with UHaul.

If they don't have they size, they'll find one for me. The only thing I wish is that they could bring the preferred truck size to this location instead of having to drive to another location and accumulate a lot of extra miles. This is our story: Contacted Master Movers and Jeff was our estimator. I had previously gotten a quote from a local moving company who came to our house to quote our international move. It was high so I started shopping around and thinking I dotted all my i's and crossed all my t's was all set. NOPE! I gave Jeff info from the local quote and he quoted me on cubic feet instead of weight like local company did. BIG MISTAKE on my part because his quote for cubic feet was HALF of our moving load, but he led us to believe that was the whole quote in cubic feet. Needless to say when the loaders came, we found out why they had two 16' trucks AFTER they loaded the first truck. Then he showed us the paper work saying we only paid for one truck. Jeff had already said we were getting a semi truck to cover all of our move. Needless to say, Jeff or anyone else from Master Movers was not answering our repeated efforts to contact them. The head person (loader) contacted his boss at Bison Relocation (first time that name came up) and told him our situation. We ended up paying what our local moving company had quoted! I was also concerned that our loads were going to get reloaded into a bigger truck. I might also add the head loader guy said they use two smaller trucks because of the size of a semi truck that might not have room, etc. I believe this is their way of cheating you because they know you will have to load the other truck! Anyway giving credit to the loaders as they were professional and did a great job. I cannot give credit to the loaders who loaded the semi. Most of our boxes were delapidated and my rocking chair was busted beyond repair. Also tall lampstands were a casualty. A steel footboard frame also came apart. Beward of how they list your boxes as the head loader basically just count the boxes and doesn't list the room or items marked on the box. Kudos to the driver of the semi truck that delivered the furniture as he stayed to set up bed frames and recliners. Not sure why he didn't make sure our load was more secure. We are just thankful it got here. This was the first cross country move we've had to do and we are senior citizens, so needless to say, we were so tired and just wanted/needed to get this move done. We were definitely taken advantage of. I will have to give this a one star rating in order to post but they do not deserve any stars!
