As I stepped up next to the other customer, there it was, in all its glory - a mail clerk helping the customer, while flossing her teeth. FLOSSING HER TEETH. I'm still sort of reeling from what I witnessed. I know I shouldn't be shocked at the behavior of others anymore, but, it's not difficult to act like an adult who knows how to act in public, especially at their job. I was at home during these "said to be delivery times. I have four dogs that would go bonkers if the door was ever knocked on or the doorbell was ever rung. For instance today my mail was delivered but my package was not. I went right to the door when my dogs let me know someone was there and I pulled my mail out of the box that was attached to the house. One of the other times this happened I reported it to them and magically it showed up at my house 4 days later in completely different packaging from Columbus... the package was coming from Pennsylvania! The mail never comes if the weather is bad too. PLEASE USPS, do something about this location!!!

I've stopped in plenty of post offices, UPS stores and FEDEX/Kinkos in my days, but never have I had such nice (and fast) customer service as I had here. Aside from being the most budget conscious way to ship items, they have prepaid boxes so you don't have to have shipping supplies. The nice rep behind the desk gave me some free packing fill as well as some tape. Overall I don't rave about service places like this too often, but I think this has to be the best post office in Columbus.

Scheduled to arrive Thursday, then Friday, it's now Saturday and out of state for no good reason when it was going two towns over. Their anniversary is tomorrow and they won't get it in time because you guys can't ever seem to do your job. This is the last package I track with you people. Next time I will pay the extra $2-3 for FedEx or UPS because you can't be trusted. (This stuff was happening long before govt cuts this year so can't even blame it on that.)

I am so hurt by the way I was treated this afternoon. I walked in the post office 5 minutes before…read morethey closed to drop off my packages that I already had labeled. I only needed to drop them off at the counter which would have taken all of 30 seconds. I walked in and went to open the divider which was already shut (which didn't seem strange since the were about to close) and the guy at the counter yells at me (in front of everyone) YOU BETTER NOT TOUCH MY DOOR. Not only was I embarrassed, I was so hurt that he would speak to me in a such manner. I didn't not touch the door / diver and I asked three times if could drop my boxes off at the counter. I was ignored each time by both staffers. He finally asked if I already paid for postage and I said yes, to which he finally gave me permission to come in (mind you the post office is not yet close) I go in and tell both staffer that I understand they are probably ready to leave, but it's wrong to treat customers so poorly. The woman at the desk then goes to tell me I better be happy he gave me permission to come in. At this point I knew I was going to contact whoever was over this particular post office so I asked for their names. She didn't give them which I understand, but goes to tell me "in a matter of fact" tone that I can speak to the manager Stephany. Now I'm thinking If your so eager for me to speak to Stephany, Stephany's work ethic is probably just as poor as yours. And I was right. She completely dismissed my complaints and defended her staff rude behavior. As I'm leaving the guy (who yelled at me) sarcastically tells me to have a good day. I explained to him how hurt I was by how he treated me, and after go back and forth he did apologize which I do appreciate. But I couldn't not believe I was treated so terribly and then lied on when told Stephanie I pretty much tried to "break in" again, the post office still is not closed. The main door was unlocked, they only had the diver shut. I will continue to go to my normal post office and hope I never have to step foot in this one, and if I do I hope I don't have to see any of the three people who were there working today. It's never okay to yell, belittle and embarrass someone who did absolutely nothing wrong.

Went today to pick up something I had to sign for, so this is a review for that but also for our…read moremail service in general. The facility is clean and in good shape, fairly large for a neighborhood post office, plenty of parking, big self-serve areas inside. Two people at the three counters today, I only waited a few minutes, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pickup process was fairly easy. Got a note in the mail explaining what was coming, where it was from, and the options. Had to show ID and sign, and verify address, etc. As for overall service, it has had its ups and downs but mainly been good. We signed up for emails telling us what's coming, and they are usually accurate. A year or two ago we had a long stretch when they were not- we wouldn't get mail for several days then got everything they saved up, apparently. But before that, and for the last year or so, the emails have been pretty accurate and deliveries come almost every day. I think they were shortstaffed and went through a lot of carriers. When we moved in it was the same person for years, and here lately it's the same guy. I think that helps, them and us.
