Went today to pick up something I had to sign for, so this is a review for that but also for our mail service in general. The facility is clean and in good shape, fairly large for a neighborhood post office, plenty of parking, big self-serve areas inside. Two people at the three counters today, I only waited a few minutes, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pickup process was fairly easy. Got a note in the mail explaining what was coming, where it was from, and the options. Had to show ID and sign, and verify address, etc. As for overall service, it has had its ups and downs but mainly been good. We signed up for emails telling us what's coming, and they are usually accurate. A year or two ago we had a long stretch when they were not- we wouldn't get mail for several days then got everything they saved up, apparently. But before that, and for the last year or so, the emails have been pretty accurate and deliveries come almost every day. I think they were shortstaffed and went through a lot of carriers. When we moved in it was the same person for years, and here lately it's the same guy. I think that helps, them and us. read more

Went here about 1045 Aug 16 2024. Tony on duty. No money orders being sold? Can't take cash, no change of address forms available. Toni obviously didn't know what he was doing because he tried to charge me for the address change which I had 1 completed when I came in. Tony also handed me the completed form back once he said he had completed it. Miss the lady who is usually there & Tony said was due to come in at noon. A man before me was told to come back at 12 or wait 20 minutes. USPS should just close if qualified workers are not available.. BAD customer service all the way around!! Innis Rd. PO is one of the worst. Post man came to my house. I was sitting right there. He left a note saying no one was there to leave the box. I waited until he came back down the other side and asked him about my box. He told me I needed to pay more money do deliver the box. ---is this 1965?? Are you kidding me, I said. He scanned the package again and there was nothing that stated that I owed money on the box. When you try to call the post office you get a recording and then if you ask to speak to an agent it hangs up. The PO use to be a very much respected agency but now I hate doing business with them and try to ship any other way but wit them. Literally the worst. And well known to be the worst. Not sure how it remains open but if the USPS ever decides to close this branch it'd make a LOT of us that are unfortunate enough to live in it's service area VERY satisfied. My mail carrier claims my porch is damaged because they're either too lazy, too much of a delicate snowflake to walk their princess feet across a perfectly fine porch, or a mix of both. I can't get an answer as to how it's "damaged" so now I have to wait AT LEAST half an hour in line ALWAYS to pick up my mail from this degenerate excuse for a post office where my mail is always held hostage. Terrible service. Long, slow lines with never enough help. I think there may be a new delivery person on my route now because Monday I got my next door neighbor's mail. I left it there and put the flag up. Tuesday they left my neighbor's mail in my box and just pushed my flag down. Wednesday it was gone but no mail addressed to me. Thursday I surprisingly actually got mail. Friday I only had a junk mail coupon book that gets delivered to every address despite expecting a Priority letter. The Priority letter is marked as delivered when I look it up online with the tracking number but it's not here! So the past week I've only received mail for me one time! Where is my mail going?!? Went in 2 days later. Still no idea. Spoke to a manager, he said he'd look into it and call me. Never got a call. Said I could call in w a tracking number. Someone in this post office I believe has stolen my license from the mail. I have had 2 sent 30 days apart but neither has come, yet my step sister's license did come. I've done everything I can to report my missing mail but I'm basically being forced to purchased a duplicate. Both licenses appeared in informed delivery but was magically never delivered on those days. I sincerely hate this post office hope this place is closed for how bad it's managed. I ordered a package that was supposed to be delivered by 9 pm on 3/14/21, at 10 pm I got a message stating that it was being held for pick up at 1981 Cleveland Ave. So I went to go get it only to receive a message while waiting for that office to open, stating that my package was now at the Innis rd location. I get there and there is a very long line, only 1 person working the counter. When I finally got to the counter, I asked about my package and she looked up the tracking number and stated that the carrier had already left with it, she never went to the back to check, so I asked if there was anyway to get a hold of the carrier so that I can meet up with them to get the package and she said no and assured me that I would receive my package today 3/15/21, now at 7:30 pm, mail has already ran and I still do not have my package and I am now out of 300.00 by losing 2 days of work over this! They do what they want, when they want, there is no supervisor to talk to. There is no accountability for their actions. I think my next step is to contact the Governor. read more

Not only the worst post office in the city but probably the whole solar system. The size is deceptive. Being big doesn't mean they have more than one person at the counter. I have gone to the tiny strip mall station up at Cleveland Ave and 161 at lunchtime and have been in and out in five minutes. This one though, bring a book. Also expect them to lose your packages, or lie about their delivery status. Tracking will say it is out for delivery, but you won't get it until the next day. Better yet, you could be home with the front door open and they will leave a slip that they tried and failed to deliver a package. Oh, and regular mail, forget it. I have been trying to get them to not deliver mail for another address to my house for 15 years. Supervisors don't care that the carriers don't care. Right now, I have so many complaints logged about the issues with this Post Office that it is not funny. If you can do your postal needs anywhere else, do it. This postal office needs help! Since important letters I was expecting did not arrive in the mail, I signed up for the program that allows me to see scanned copies of the mail that should arrive that day. Unfortunately, even with this, I am not getting mail delivered on a daily basis. I went to the actual post office to inquire about this situation. Again and unfortunately, they stated "their hands were tied" and that 17 carriers had "called off". It appears there are real Customer Service and Management Issues at this location and this is not a good reflection on the United States postal service. I received notice that my package was not delivered because my mailbox was full. THAT IS A LIE. I check the mail daily & the box was EMPTY. Furthermore, even if that were true, it's impossible to fit a 20 piece set of cookware into a mailbox! The carrier was too lazy to deliver my box. OR, the package was never on the truck in the first place and they simply lied. On the same day, they also reported that another item (clothing) was delivered, which it wasn't. This is another lie. I waited 1hr and 25 minutes to get 1 stamp.. I was told they do not have a stamp machine and have not for a long time according to one attendant since she has worked there. Why does this location not have a working stamp machine?? They only have 1 person working the line which was almost out the door (approx 30-40 people). For many years my postal service has been general good. I bought my house on Hiawatha close to Webber in 1948 right after I come back from WWll. Over that time I have noticed some days when delivery service skipped me and this part of Hiawatha. Today, Friday January 12th 2018, makes the 4th day in a row when we did not have pick up service, and therefore delivery service. The carrier once again lost or misplaced my package. Which when I called to ask about it (and just got off the phone with them) the woman on the phone was rude and sounded as if she did not like her job and couldn't wait to get out of there, which I really do not care about. If you are not happy, find a new job. You are there to do your job anyway and you are getting paid. Get over it. She did not give me her name, and both her tone of voice and choice of words literally showed that she did not care about my call or missing package. All she could revert back to was basically that it happens all the time, so it should be expected. Well it shouldn't happen all the time or have to be expected. If you get too many calls like this, then there is a big flaw in the way that you are handling the situation. She also kept mentioning that I would not be receiving any refund, which I never suggested or asked about. I could care less about any refund!! She kept mentioning and hinting to me that I should have got insurance on the package, and again, I did not ask about, nor was I calling to get future suggestions. My concern is trying to find the package and in working with someone who is considerate of the customer they are dealing with on the phone. When you act like you don't care, that it's not your problem, or that you close in 30 minutes and you just can't wait to get out of the office..... Well, you get bad reviews. Even if there is nothing that can really be done about my missing package, the fact of the matter is, train your employees in customer service (and in showing a bit of empathy.) Just be NICE. The Postal Service, as a unit, is run by incompetent, insensitive, apathetic, individuals. The service gets worse and worse, and they have the balls to want to keep raising the price of postage. ABC6 OnYourSide did a story on Mail Fail, mail not getting delivered to customers on a regular basis. I haven't received mail since January. Repeated complaints to the 800 number, emails online and calling the Innis Rd station only got me three supervisors, one who said they'd call me back the next day, two by email who said they'd work with me until my case is resolved. Repeated followup emails to them have gone unanswered. Gross incompetence like this in a private sector job would result in any of us getting terminated. Gross incompetence like this with the Postal Service is encouraged. Don't go to Innis Rd, and if you have your mail delivered in 43211, 43219, 43230 get a PO Box in a different zip code. Clearly the letter carriers, Supervisors, and station locations in those three areas are all staffed by incompetents who don't care if our mail is delivered or our complaints are addressed. Horrible operation and tired of dealing with it. I've been trying to locate my package that's been "OUT FOR DELIVERY" for an entire week, and I just live down the road from this place. They never answer the phone, overall mail delivery cannot be trusted and neither can pick-up. My wife and I have just finalized arrangements to use a relatives address in another area for package deliveries and I have re-directed all other important mail to be delivered to my place of employment, which is in another area as well. WORST USPS whoever my mail carrier is to my apartment complex puts my packages in the wrong mailbox every single time I've ordered something online. I have no other option than to have it sent to the apt office or else I can count on never seeing my package again. They do absolutely NOTHING to help. They always say they will call me back and never follow through with that. They carelessly put mail in whatever box they feel like.
