Mary was so rough on my feet and cut all my toes up so bad that she had to use the green solution to stop the bleeding, the scrubbing was so rough that I walked out of there feeling worse than I came. Now i understand some Spanish but i don't speak it and she said some rude things about me to her coworker because i asked her to paint my toes right. I told the owner that she was so rough and he acted like he didn't understand what I was saying and just said "she's always like that"....thats a problem. Seeing that this was my first time there, i will not rate the business as a whole....just don't get a pedicure by Mary.

I'll certainly be making this a thing going forward! and thanks Taday for being one of the ONLY nail salons offering hair services for some of us ladies and gentlemen as well!!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Taday Nails…read more On Sunday, June 7, I visited the salon for a fill-in on an existing set and paid $76.26. This was the very first fill-in for the set. Less than 24 hours later, on the morning of June 8, one nail broke. On June 9, a second nail broke. I called the salon on June 10 to explain the situation. Rather than expressing concern about the quality of the service, the male manager immediately informed me that it would cost an additional $15 to repair the two nails because the salon does not guarantee fill-ins, only full sets. After a lengthy discussion, he eventually stated that the repairs could be done at no charge, but only if completed by the same technician who serviced me. Unfortunately, I had an event to attend that afternoon and could not risk an extended wait. The following day, I called again and spoke with a female manager. She also began by reiterating that fill-ins are not guaranteed and that repairs must be completed by the original technician. She then informed me that the salon was slow and, if I came immediately, they would make an exception and repair the nails. I rushed to the salon, which is less than a 10-minute drive away, only to arrive and be told there were already two people ahead of me and that the wait would be more than 30 minutes. This was especially frustrating given that I had specifically called ahead and adjusted my schedule based on the information I was provided. While I understand that salons have policies, I find it unreasonable that two nails would break within days of a routine fill-in and that the response was to argue policy rather than address a clear quality concern. What was most disappointing was not the broken nails themselves, but the lack of accountability, inconsistent communication, and poor customer service from management. As a first-time customer receiving a fill-in on a relatively new set, I expected better workmanship and a more customer-focused resolution. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with little confidence in returning.

Nail Station is great. A friend of mine goes here for her nails; I hadn't been here before, but we…read moredecided to go together one morning. They were cool with us bringing our kids since they're both really calm babies, and luckily they didn't disprove that on this trip. The staff were really sweet to the babies and helped to calm them down the one or two times one of them started to get fussy, all of which I appreciate. And something that was such a small but ingenious detail: They had the meter number for the parking spaces just outside the shop on display in a few different areas of the store in case you forgot. I've never seen that before, but the moment I did I thought every business with paid street parking outside needs to adopt this practice. My nails also look great. I went for a festive color, a red with some sparkle to it. I love the color but may not get it again because it's a no-chip, and I've only done no-chip a few times before; it hasn't been my bag because it's so hard on my nails. But I figured one time won't hurt... hopefully.... I'd come back though and do a pedicure and manicure. I'm not sure if the prices were high or not because I so rarely do a mani pedi that I can't remember what I've paid at my most recent visit, which was in July (and before that, it was pre pandemic, like October 2019 or something so I have no clue what the going rate is now). The manicure might have been a bit better if she'd used warm water for soaking my hands, but then again I didn't ask her to change it out so obviously it wasn't my biggest concern. The pedicure was really nice and that's generally my favorite part; the massage felt great. And she used hot stones which I've never experienced before. They also do some waxing here and I think some sort of massage; I haven't tried the massage but my friend does it somewhat regularly to help tendinitis and it's helped her a lot. I also like that they have kids' manicure chairs. They're set a bit away from the big chairs but I like that I might be able to come bring her when she's older for a mommy and me spa day. Parking is really easy, at least on the weekend when we were here. It's street only but you're in Bridgeport and it's not necessarily buzzing. That could change since the Ramova--which was recently purchased by some celebrities with Chicago ties--is soon to be under renovation and may bring some more life to the neighborhood, though it's too soon to tell if the hours will conflict. Definitely give them a try and see for yourself.
