Pretty seamless experience. Their quote beat the other Cube company by a lot (for the smaller size we needed). They delivered it as promised and used a forklift to navigate our tricky common driveway without messing up anyone's lawn. They gave us explicit instructions on how to get it picked up when we had it loaded, and how to load it so our stuff would all fit and be safe. They picked it up on time and delivered it 850 miles away in just 5 days (2 of which were weekends). Nothing broke, and they picked up the empty when they said they would. We were referred to you packed because pods did not deliver to the area we're moving to. The price they offered was lower and the trailer we got was bigger. I felt bad for the manager Ben because of this whole Covid plandemic, he only had two drivers so our truck arrived late, very late. But it was a situation out of his control. I read some of the reviews here of people complaining of their items arriving damaged, there was a picture of a cardboard box with rusty water marks on it, didn't look like there was any water damage like the person stated. WARNING: By renting a U-Pack truck trailer to move your valuables, you could end up with serious property damage! I was shocked to find that my possessions had been placed in a trailer with a leak!! Several of my boxes sat in rusty water before their delivery to their final destination in Seattle, Washington. These boxes contained stereo speakers, books, and kitchenware among other items. We had arranged for the trailer to be stored for a month in Kent, Washington, before its delivery to our new home in Seattle. After traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast, and sitting in storage for a month, I was appalled to find that the trailer provided to me in Massachusetts had a leak. In fact, water had entered the trailer through a patch! Thus, this trailer had a history of leaks! U-Pack's decision to provide me an older patched-up trailer to carry my furniture, electronics, clothing, family heirlooms and other valuables is utterly unthinkable, but that's what they did. Be warned! The trailer that U-Pack provides you (especially out of Sekonk, MA) may be defective and cause damage to your belongings. I will never make this mistake again, and I urge you to not take the risk of renting a U-Pack trailer to move your precious belongings. read more

My family used U-pack trailer to move our furniture and personal items from a 4-bedroom house to another state. The whole experience from beginning to end was very pleasant. The representatives explain the process very clearly and disclose the cost. We did not have any surprises. I was able to track the trailer and we were given more than enough time to load and unload the truck. I would recommend this service and would use it again in the future. P.S. Word of advice - pack your things well and use rope/strap attachments generously. We had a couple of dressers that chipped corners because they were not protected and not strapped. Everything shifts, when the truck is moving. All the other items that we packed properly and strapped came undamaged. read more

My girlfriend & I just moved from Massachusetts to Seattle through U-Pack and we were told that it would take 6-8 business days for our cube to arrive in Seattle. After a 12-day road trip across the country, we called for our cube to be dropped off at our new apartment. We were told that the company literally had NO idea where our cube was. This was Friday, and OF COURSE, they're not open on weekends. We called them on Monday and they still didn't know where it was. We called them on Tuesday and they still didn't know where it was. Finally, later that day, a woman from the company called us and told us the cube had been sitting in Dayton, OH since the first day of its shipment. (Just to make things worse, we drove to Dayton the first day of our road trip.) We were told that the cube wouldn't arrive until the next Monday, 21 days after it had been originally picked up, a full 14 business days from when it was supposed to arrive. Not only did we not have furniture in our new apartment for 2 weeks (including our bed--at least our floors are comfortable to sleep on), we didn't have anything to cook with, so we were forced to buy things out of pocket which we had already packed in the cube, and the woman told us that we would not be compensated for those out of pocket expenses. Nor would we be compensated for the extra storage we purchased because we thought the cube would beat us by a whole week, which it clearly did not, and we clearly had no use for. We also lost our moving help because we had friends in the area the day we planned to move in on. We were told that they would not be offerring us complementary moving help. They offered us less than 25% of what we paid for the move, which was well over $2000, not even enough to cover HALF of a month's rent. All in all, I have felt 0% satisfaction from this company even though they boast a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If you DO plan on moving with this company, I sincerely hope you choose U-Pack Guaranteed which we were told would have given us a full refund, however, we weren't even offered this feature to begin with. Great salesmanship. Final words: U-Pack WILL screw you over if you are looking for any kind of refund so when you make the call, assume the position. read more

This is an excellent alternative to both moving companies and "U-Haul" type options. Everything was on-time and trackable, and they were flexible with us about the amount of time we wanted at each end of the move. More people should know about this option because we'd never heard of it, and no one we talked to about our move had ever heard of it.
