    If I could give a negative 5 I would. The service level here is the worst I've seen in 20 years. Virginia needs to be replaced by someone that cares about customers and about her job. She is rude and argumentative. I was on hold for 20 minutes with customer service and I asked if she could make a phone call to their service department since my enclosed trailer wasn't available. She said they call from a different number therefore they're calls are answered. However she wouldn't make the call. She asked what did they tell me before and that would not change. I guess she gets to make decisions for all of uHaul. The first rule of business is the customer is always right. If not right, respected? Not here. This location needs a lot of work! Go elsewhere!

    Well, the staffing is still quite tight here and yes I keep coming back as it despite the sometimes wait, still the easiest way to get my tanks filled for my grill. Today there was almost no wait. But seriously some fo the customers have no respect for other peoples time. Like cluster your transactions, or better yet go onto the EXHAUSTIVE website and read the FAQ. Sheesh. Today Frank, the owner, helped fill my four tanks. He was as always friendly and personable.

    I am a victim of mountain view Uhaul, Re: Virginia Martinez I was attacked by an uhaul employee today!! Yes, this is never heard of before. I rent a uhaul today. Because I am an experience and careful driver, I denied the coverage for vehicle damage. My day of moving was very smooth and however, when i return the vehicle, the nightmare started. The person who checked in my vehicle was very rude. And then she pointed a place at the front of the vehicle and ask me what happened there. I am shocked. First of all, it was so tiny a place and second, my trip was very smooth and I didn't scratch anything. I explained to her the situation but she won't listen. She said that I am the only person who rented the vehicle that day hence is responsible for this accident. Even worse, she said I can go now and her manager is going to get in touch with me regarding this accident. I was shocked. Certainly, I am not comfortable to leave the place without a conclusion hence I asked her to provide an update but she insisted that she can't do anything and her manager is not available. I am frustrated and asked her name and a pen to write down her name, she refused to provide me a pen and asked me to leave. of course I don't feel confortable to leave without a conclusion and then she attacked and pushed me and broken my phone. Now, magically, her manager show up!! ( Who was not available, remember ). The manager won't help either, I showed the manager my phone but the manager won't care. BUT, the manager now printed me a receipt and the receipt has no info about the damage and the case is closed!! I am getting in touch with Uhaul regarding this incident. However, I suspect this is not the only time something like this happened in this place. If you also have a similar bad experience.     Refused to refill or exchange my propane tanks. Don't go with in the last hour, because they are to busy and unwilling to give any service.

    There is no elevator for upstairs lockers, and the stairs are steep. My storage lockers were broken into three times, and their remedy was to increase the price of the monthly rental to include insurance, not giving you the option to choose insurance, and not compensating you for the loss of your possessions. Insult on injury. There is no staff onsite and there is no bathroom as there used to be when it was owned by Starlite Storage. The staff works remotely from Pacifica, in this area. It is also very difficult for me to place the replacement padlocks they gave me into the doors of the lockers.

These people come in and not even a month goes by and they automatically tack on 10 for renters insurance. Then not 2 months goes by and I see that my credit card was charged almost 40 dollars more a month. You need to understand my unit is SUPER small. Like the size of a big Porto potty just to give you an idea of the size since i don't have measurements. When I first moved into the unit over 10 years ago, it was $70 and they never even raised my rent until like five years later. When they did, it was always like 5 dollars. When they finally left my rent was $85. So overall my rent went up $15 in over 10 years. These people come in and within two months my rent was almost 40 dollars higher. They did this in less than 2 months. The worst part folks? They didn't even have the audacity to notify me. They have my email address, my phone number, and my address and instead of just telling me like a decent human being would they just charged my card. When confronted about this. They said they sent an email but it didn't go through. So I asked them, You knowingly sent an email to the wrong address and you saw that it didn't go through and you still thought this was the best way to conduct business after this client has been with this facility for over 10 years? Unbelievable. I will not do business with people that treat their customers this way. I told them I will be taking my stuff out immediately and they told me I can sign the documents the following day at the facility which would've been a Tuesday. Nobody was there on Monday. They told me I have to give them 15 days notice before I evacuate. So now I have to sign these documents tomorrow or the fifteen days notice bleeds into September forcing me to pay more. The lady I spoke with, Victoria, tells me that someone will definitely be there on Tuesday to help me with the paperwork. After finding a sitter for my two-year-old and going down to the facility, nobody is there. These people are beyond inconsiderate. When taking my stuff out of the unit, I notice there is water all over my antique dresser and all over the floor. It's amazing how my stuff was in this unit for over 10 years and I never had a problem. These people come in for less than two months and all this..... Yelp, you need to make it so that businesses can get either zero stars and maybe even a few negatives. This place would get a negative star for sure. People, BEWARE !!! Do not do business with these people. I must mention that this is the facility in Pacifica. These are the type of people that will raise your rent to the highest possibility at EVERY opportunity they can. Be aware.

You are offered a reasonable rate, you move in, then BOOM! Your rate goes up 54%. it went from $180 to $277 in only 3 months. They are aware they are causing emotional harm and unnecessary stress on their customers, but they don't care at all. Our entire system is failing when these companies can manipulate the fair market value of storage unit rentals, thereby price-gouging everyone. It is very clear they are using software that raises rates, violating anti-trust laws, destroying a free market that harms the consumer. I thought I met a friend, but he wasn't; he is just another employee working for a company that cares nothing about people and only cares about enriching itself. I remember hearing him say that rates are going up again and he can get $325 for my unit. There needs to be laws passed that rein in these facilities, a rent cap, a cap on rent hikes. They should not be allowed to raise the rent every 3 months or every year. If rent is paid leave the consumer alone. Strict rules and heavy penalties, and fines need to happen. I had a hard time finding the place as it sits back away from the main street and its difficult to see the address. I actually needed to go home and get my GPS so I could find this place. Next it was very hard to actually find office staff in the office during the posted hours of operation. When I did finally find someone in the office the guy seemed like I was inconveniencing him by asking him to show me a few units. We hopped in a rickety old golf cart and we drove over to the storage unit I was going to rent so I could take a look. We simply could have walked but I think the guy was lazy, but whatever. Upon returning back to the office the guy hit a crack/bump in the driveway by the office and almost dumped the darn golf cart over. We got out of the golf cart and it continued rolling for about 5 feet beyond where we got out. I rented the storage unit for a few weeks and turned in my keys before the month's rental was up. Keypad & pass code required to enter premises. Storage access hours 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (terrible hours: as it doesn't allow much time to access the storage units for working people) If I ever rent a storage unit from this place again it will only because I want to save money and am wiling to put up with their wack storage access hours. The storage unit was fine and met my needs, so no problem with the storage units from what I could see. Just terrible service, oh yeah and the office area is small cramped and funky inside.
