When I called to complain, an escalation specialist admitted on the phone that the listing was misleading and promised it would be corrected. Weeks later, it still isn't. Second -- and this is the bigger issue -- I rescheduled my move-in date through their own system and received written email confirmation that the change went through. When I logged in on the actual move-in day to finish the process, the reservation had been silently cancelled. No email, no call, no explanation. Just gone. If you're comparing storage places, keep looking. A company that can't keep a confirmed reservation on the books, and can't fix a known misleading listing after admitting it's wrong, isn't one I'd trust with my stuff.

While preparing my 86-year-old mother's home for repairs after water damage, I contacted this company specifically for packing-only services. I clearly explained that we did not need anything moved, only clothing and miscellaneous items packed. Their website advertises packing-only services, and when I called, I was assured that they could accommodate exactly what we needed. They quoted $205 per hour for a three-person team and scheduled a date for an in-home assessment and for the actual packing. The assessor came to the home, took pictures, and seemed visibly annoyed when they learned that another company would be moving our furniture into a POD. Still, nothing was said about packing services being an issue. Two days later, I received a call stating that they "do not pack only" and would not be providing the service. I was stunned. I asked why they told me otherwise, why they came to my home for an estimate, and why they scheduled a packing date if they had no intention of following through. Their explanation was that the website is "national" and not all locations offer packing-only services despite the fact that they clearly advertised it and initially confirmed they could do it. The truth is, they do offer packing-only services; they simply refused to honor it because we hired a different company to handle our furniture. The items they were scheduled to pack were not even being moved out of the home. I have never dealt with a company that so blatantly misled me. This entire situation caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time as we try to support an elderly parent and repair her home. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've had with a packing or moving company, and I felt it was important to share.

Had a great interaction with Chris of No Bull Towing last night. With the amount of fog from…read moremelting snow last night dodging Michigan pot holes was not going well. Eventually I hit one and my tire instantly deflated. I jumped out of the car and started taking a look when Chris pull up and asked if I needed any help. He just happened to be driving by and saw someone that could use some help. He jumped out of his truck and changed my tire in the rain and couldn't have been more pleasant to talk to. Chris is a great dude and is a great reminder that there are awesome people out in the world who just want to help other people.

Most tow companies, I don't think, would even bother with something so minor but Chris was there within ten minutes and had it jump started quickly. He also didn't charge me much at all. The second time, my truck spun out on a back road and got stuck in a snow bank. I couldn't really give much information on where I was because I wasn't sure but Chris arrived again within 20 minutes and had my truck pulled out in five minutes (and again, for very cheap). I also loved his "manager", a senior German Shepherd who rides shotgun. I would definitely use them again.
