Now I'm standing in the parking lot, making a reservation with uhaul instead. So do yourself a favor and skip going to Budget. Go to anywhere else instead. Oh also! Crazy thing... I was a bit nervous to drive the new truck they were giving us (a 16 vs a cargo van lol), so I called around the area to see if other budgets had what we were looking for (figured Budget would do that for us). I found one, which had a reservation for the next day. Lady on the phone says we can take it though because their trucks are first come first serve, even with a reservation. So their solution to the problem was for me to screw over another one of their customers. Not a very good set up.

We had to be out of the house the next day, but where do I turn at 4 PM in the afternoon... A Storage Inn to the rescue!!! I called and talked to the on-site manager explaining the situation. He told me to come right in. He set me up with a great little unit, did all the paperwork and had me out the door in 20 minutes. Thank goodness for angels! This was on October 4, 2019, I wish I could remember the young man's name. I just called and talk to, what sounded like a different gentleman, to make sure we are all squared away with nothing due. He was very personable and polite. This company knows how to select outstanding employees. The unit and the grounds were clean and well-maintained. When my husband was there unloading the unit he noticed a woman driving around in a golf cart and she stopped to pick up a gum wrapper... Now that is attention to detail!! Property Manager was not available to get a hold of left multiple messages trying to get access made an appointment for the following day online and nobody showed up. Extremely Disappointing Service Department!…read more We brought our Holiday Rambler to Byerly in June for several repairs, including a significant water leak near the door. After more than two months, nearly $4,000 in charges, multiple trips, and two assurances that the leak had been fixed, the RV continued to leak when it rained. What was especially frustrating was learning that one repair was supposedly tested by spraying water on the RV while supervising staff stood outside rather than inside checking for leaks. Eventually, we were told the problem was the awning over the door, the same area they claimed to have repaired during our original visit. We had recently purchased a separate and expensive RV from Byerly, so we expected a much better level of service and workmanship. Unfortunately, this experience has eliminated our confidence in their Service Department. Our Holiday Rambler is finally back, although we still don't know whether the leak is actually fixed. One thing is certain: we will not voluntarily bring our RV back to Byerly for service. Having an extended warranty that may require us to deal with this department in the future makes the experience even more disappointing. A message was left for the Service Department Manager, Steve, asking him to call me back in reference to a complaint about the service we received. As of this writing, he has not called me back. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

Do not use this company!…read more I trusted them to take care of our belongs as they seemed to be a reputable company. They seemed easy to work with and after just having a baby we wanted movers that were hassle free and trustworthy. (They broke a dresser and a rocker from the nursery) They are fine so long as your expectation is that you just want your items delivered. If you expect them to be in the same condition as they left your house, that's where they fall short. They broke several items and when you file your claim, they initially send you a rather intense email about how it's better to settle for $500 than continue with the process. We chose to continue as our items were worth significantly more than $500. We have now received an offer of about 30-50 cents on the dollar. And 1 item they will not reimburse for because I can't prove that the mid-century modern record counsel was working before they smashed it. Even though I have a photo of the top open right before the move. Long story short- if you do use this company, take photos and videos of all of your belongings to insure that you aren't left with nothing at the end. Or faced with spending even more money to replace the things they broke. They are very expensive and I thought I was hiring a company that stood behind their work. I apparently did not. I am still trying to figure all this out, but it seems to me that if you hire movers and buy insurance you should not be out even more money to replace your furniture that they broke.
