I was not familiar with this Uhaul location but its literally less than 5 minutes from where I will be staying. When I walked in I was greeted by JULIE who was at the service desk. As well as returning the trailer I also needed storage. Uhaul offered 1 free month of storage with my oneway rental (straight forward no strings attached) which was awesome! JULIE first set me up with my storage space and showed me the unit. She got me all checked in quickly and courteously. I had a spill in the trailer and told her after I emptied it would leave, wash it out and come back. She told me I could use their cleaning supplies and water hose, which even though I was staying so close, would save me a lot of aggravation. Pulling this trailer around, backing it up, turning etc, you have to be careful. So that was so convenient after having to unload a full trailer, by myself, in that heat! When I started unloading my things I realized the space I chose would be too small. I went back to JULIE who stopped what she was doing and made the change for me, still smiling, still genuinely courteous! She made the whole thing such an easy and pleasant experience! She really exemplifies "customer service", is friendly and a person any company would want to have as the face of their business! I hope she is appreciated by the manager/company and is rewarded for her efforts!!!

A few things broke, a few things got scratched but I really wasn't stressing it. Until they broke my wine refrigerator and then they cracked one of the TVs. It took him a week to respond, now imagine me doing that to him. So then he says reach out to the insurance company through the truck and they should handle it. So I do that and when the insurance company reached out to him he changed his story. So I said OK that's fine I'll come back to him and get his insurance company to pay for the damages and he avoiding me again for another week until I threaten to sue him and then he turned into a tough guy. They just left me hanging in the middle of the move. When I called the owner, Evan, he said that should not have happened and he would come out the next day to help move but he never showed. And on day 2 he STILL only sent 2 men and 1 truck. After several hours 2 other men showed up. After 18 frustrating hours, I cancelled the rest of the move and rescheduled with a different moving company. The owner said he was having personal problems and that was why the move went this way. He also was defensive about only sending one truck the second day, stating well I was the one who told you to go with 2 trucks.

The move dragged on until 10:30 PM, nearly a third of my belongings were left behind, and boxes that were moved were mislabeled or put in the wrong rooms. Despite leaving the job incomplete, they still handed me a bill for more than $4,000. I refused to sign because the work was not finished. The next day I had to hire another licensed mover for $3,000 just to complete the job. AJ, the owner, claimed only four hours of work remained and that his same three guys could come back Monday to finish. That was not an option, as the house needed to be cleared Sunday. In reality, it took a five man crew five hours on Sunday to finish the work. Not only did Accelerated Deliveries fail to complete the job, the part they did complete almost made things worse. Items meant for downstairs were put upstairs, belongings were left piled in the garage, and one of the crew admitted it was only his second day ever moving. I hired them because of their reviews, but after working with them it seems like they are more suited for moving college dorm rooms than a 5,000 square foot house. AJ, the owner, was cool and apologetic on the phone, but then he followed up by sending me a demand letter for payment on an incomplete job. UPDATE: I've disputed the charges with AJ the owner and he has not been responsive in a resolution. He fraudulently processed a payment on our credit card with no authorization form. He pulled the card info from our deposit and charged the card without our permission despite a very transparent dispute of the chargers and me having to hire another company that cost me $3,000+ to finish their job.

The service I received was unprofessional and resulted in significant damage to my property due to the negligence and lack of experience demonstrated by the three-person crew. Despite a short five-minute drive between locations, the moving truck took 30 minutes to arrive. Upon inspecting my belongings, I discovered that my items had not been properly padded or secured during transport. Specifically, the dining room table base has substantial holes on two sides. Additionally, a wood sofa table fell apart during the move. It appeared that an unsuccessful and undisclosed attempt was made to repair the table before I saw it, which I find purposefully deceitful. The crew failed to disclose any of this damage until I pointed it out myself. Furthermore, I was disappointed that the crew attempted to take the 65-inch TV box, for which I specifically paid $125.00.
