The guy that filled my propane tanks acted literally like he was put out that he had to work. It was ridiculous. He even refused to fill all of my tanks even though they were "open" and he stood and watched my son and I unload the tanks (of course zero assistance). I absolutely will never come back. I needed a pickup truck for a landscaping project. Not all UHauls have them, but luckily this one near me did. I did an online reservation and pick up (and return) was a breeze! I was able to leave my car there for the few hours I needed the truck for. The gentleman working was very nice and the entire experience was pleasant. Will absolutely rent again from here. read more

First of all... moving sucks. Nobody likes to do it (unless you are movin' on up- I guess).... but it's just a pain and hassle... boxes, logistics, and tricking your friends and supposed "friends" to come help move heavy items. If you have a small sedan car like me, you end up renting a u-haul or befriending someone that has a big truck. It's pretty easy to rent a u-haul... the unfortunate part is doing the heavy lifting yourself. This location is pretty convenient to Independence. I've gotten a few items from here before (mostly boxes).... but I find u-haul boxes to be pretty sturdy and a bit pricey... I do like the fact that none of the boxes I have ever gotten here have been compromised mid move. They hold up really well. The U-haul store also has a bunch of other items you would need for moving stuff... a lot of it is sort of unnecessary - unless you are super big in going "all out" for moving. Parking lot has all the rentals in it... sometimes it can be a bit tricky navigating your way back onto independence. Nothing a few U-turns couldn't fix. read more

This location happens to be the closest to my new place. Comparing them to other Uhaul locations I have used in the past is the only way I can write this review. I have been to this location a few times now and have never received very good customer service. The wait is typically long, and the staff tends to be unfriendly and not very helpful. One good thing I can say about this location is that they have plenty of available trucks and trailers at all times. They are no where as close to the customer service of the Albemarle Rd. location. read more

Truck was fine. Employees were generally helpful. Was a little crowded in the parking lot with trucks when I got there, but that probably depends on the time of month you go there. Not the greatest place in the world, but it was fine. Location was convenient, and when you're paying for a truck, you want it as close to your location as possible. read more

When I called the main U-Haul number, the agent forgot to tell me when my pickup was, so I ended up getting there 10 minutes after closing. I thought I was knocking on the door in futility when Larond came around the corner! It wasn't his fault nor his problem, but he went above and beyond!!!
