Regarding U CAR CONNECT: The truck I bought from them will take several thousand dollars to be in the shape of my trade in. They told me in their sales pitch, it was in the same condition. I didn't even get out of their lot before I found that there was a problem. I got Tom in the car to hear the front-end noise, he agreed there was a noise and told me, "Take it to a tire shop Ed, it can't be much as we check our cars, we won't leave ya hangin!" Many more problems found after I got home, read on. These guys brag about the condition of their cars. "We know our cars inside and out before we put them on our show room floor." They will give your cars "Car Max" reports, don't believe Car Max. Beware of U CAR CONNECT! Do not rely on this U CAR CONNECT web site. It does not give the truth of the business. The U Car Connect, used car scammers post only a few negative reviews. The rest are nearly all five stars and there are many and not the truth. They indicate 136 reviews, according to them, most are 5 stars. I posted a negative review on their web site; it was removed within very few hours. Go to YELP web site, read the reviews. YELP doesn't have a dog in the hunt, just the facts, and they ain't good. IF you want the truth, you will see that negative reviews are 50 % plus. Read them all and.......... IF you then want to buy a car from these guys, DO NOT TRUST them. Protect yourself, have an outside mechanic look at your intended purchase. See what they missed on my car, read on, after I got home, I did as he suggested and found the following. 1. The GPS antennae was broken. Replacement cost, over 800.00 dollars$. 2. They told me the car had never been in a wreck or damaged, my mechanics pointed out to me "overspray paint" and said "This car has been wrecked." 3. The tires were old and unsafe. I was told, "IF a car needs tires, it won't be on our showroom floor." Replacement cost 1200.00 dollar$ 4. The first time I went through a car wash, paint was washed off showing rust had been painted over. Body shops will only replace the rear quarter panels. Replacement costs, 10,000.00 dollar$. Possible flood damage exists. 5. Factory wheels pealing chrome, replacement costs, 300.00 dollar$ each, + or - used. 6. Front strut replacement, 1800.00 dollar$. My intentions are to show these scammers for what they are, and I have ways of doing this within the law. I've never bought a car online until i found UCar Connect and i will never buy a car online again. I appreciated all the pictures and videos of the car. Everything seemed legitimate. The car arrived and everything seemed alright for the first few months. Then it started leaking oil and coolant. It was making horrible noises when turning. It wasn't performing as it did during the first few months. Check engine light came on. Water leaking into the cabin of the car everytime it rains. Electrical issues. The list goes on. I purchased the extended warranty which was useless at the audi dealer. The warranty company said they would not cover anything. So I canceled warranty and got my money back. The friendliness of the dealer had me believe that they would help out. He sent me a purge valve and a some breaks. I understand the purchase was made and he doesn't have to do anything to help, but now they don't respond. I've spent nearly 10k in repairs. I guess I was played as a fool. Ridiculous emotional ride. I came, I saw, I drove, I got car inspected and had them do maintenance work that I wanted done prior to my purchase of said vehicle. I am 4 hours from going there with cash in hand to make the final deal and I get a text that someone is looking at my prospective car. if it looks to good to be true, it definitely is, especially from your "trusted" u car connect salesmen. aside from the shit break pads, half bald tires, parking break engaging on 169 south, automatic trunk being not so automatic, resetting the touch screen, and horrible acceleration, the car runs like a million bucks! or so they said when we drove it off the lot. and don't you worry when you bring it back to them, they care for the car so well! they went as far as slamming the back door so hard it broke a plastic piece and left a scuff on the interior. these guys are your typical douchebag car salesman, don't even give these guys a shot.. and if you do decide to give 'em a chance, don't go to sam, he's a tool read more

Purchased my Audi A4 here. When purchasing a car at "U Car Connect" think of dirtbag salesmen with all the sketchy tricks you see in TV sitcoms. Over the last 2 years I've dumped thousands of dollars into basic maintenance that was never done or looked into prior to my purchase. Turbo conveniently went out in the middle of Colorado within the first 8 months. A week later I had to get work done on the coolant system. A year later I had to get the coolant system reworked (again). Also add in a new Crankcase Breather, Rear Coolant Flange & Hose, and an Oil Filter Housing/Seal just for kicks. The basic phrase I hear from Audi of Seattle is "it looks like this was never looked at / done". Looking past the major fixes you will find that their maintenance department basically amounts to a high school automotive class taught by a Health Teacher who was reassigned to teach autoshop because of budget cuts within the school district. When I test drove the car the low tire pressure light came on. It was -13 degrees that day and they told me it was a result of the tire pressure change from going from the show room to outside. They said they would make sure my tire pressure was on point before I left. Within an hour of driving home my low tire pressure light came on. Tried to fill it and they had placed a BOLT over the cap. A Fucking bolt? What?! Why?! I ended up having to get an entire new tube put in because the tire place couldn't even get the bolt off. The back of the seat was starting to come apart when I test drove it too. It looked like a part just needed to be tightened inside the seat. Their idea of "taking care of it before you leave" was putting some shitty glue on the back. That lasted about a month before the back panel on both my seats fell off. It is clearly missing some parts that for the life of me I can't figure out. So to this day every two months the panels on the back of my seat continue to fall off. Those were the two things I asked them to look at and they failed miserably. The back license plate. My God. I can't even begin to explain the back license plate. Basically only one screw will fit. And that screw had to be cut to 1/3 it's original size by someone at some point to keep it on. There are four slots for the mystery screw, but I'm guessing it was more cost effective to just use one screw. Also to keep it on I have to have a license plate holder on at all times because the hole to put the screw in is that small. Shockingly for some reason the cheap plastic "U Car Connect" holder is the only thing that will fit. Once a month I have to tighten the hell out of one of the screw or my license plate will fall to the side. Seriously, for the love of (insert whatever God you believe in) do not buy a car from here. All they are selling you is a freshly detailed car that was recently driven into the ground by the previous owner. read more

I would never think to bother wasting my time writing a review for a dealership, but after my experience people should know to avoid this place. I bought a used vehicle from UCar Connect late this past summer. The buying process was quite long (it was honestly about 8 hours or so from the time I signed the paperwork to the time that I was able to pick it up). Everything was clean, the car worked well, no issues. I drive the 30 minutes to my house, and on the way, a headlight failure popped. Park the car, and the trunk won't open. It's stuck locked and won't budge. That's two things that failed within the first thirty minutes of driving the car off of the lot. Contact the dealership and tell them what happened, and that I would like to cancel this purchase and will be bringing the car back to the lot (I was told that even though the paperwork hadn't been filed and it could be cancelled, that they would rather fix the problems). I obliged and let them try and fix them. Spoiler alert: the trunk still had issues and would jam every so often, and the headlight issue was never resolved after no less than 5 visits to the dealership which required at minimum that I was without my car, that I had just purchased, for at least 5 days each time. It still was never resolved. Add to that that each time I was given a shitty loaner vehicle that had basically a 10 mpg engine in it, and was given it on near empty everytime. Driving the 20+ minutes each way certainly was a lot of fun to always be told, "Didn't work, have to try again. Sorry." Did I mention that I was also having to pay for this, despite having purchased it so recently AND that I purchased the extended service plan? Yeah, real great experience. Fast forward a month into having the vehicle (might have been a month and a half, can't remember), and I get a call from the bank that the loan was through. Turns out that the guy I was working with never actually sent them the paperwork, and they didn't have the stuff that they needed for my loan; my loan, essentially wasn't actually real until I worked with the bank directly to complete it. Did I mention that this was a full month-plus after purchase, and the bank still didn't have my paperwork that was supposed to be sent at the time of purchase? Yeah, professional. Car starts to deteriorate after a couple of months, and I had enough of working with this shitty dealership. I was without this vehicle for about the same amount of time that I was actually in possession of it thanks to it always being worked on and "fixed"...for an issue that shouldn't have happened in the first place. So, I decide it's time to cut my losses and get rid of this piece of shit car. I go to an actual real dealership and trade this in for a different vehicle (which is amazing; see Matt at Audi Minneapolis if you're looking for a new car!). Process is smooth, easy and I'm happy. Until it comes time to cancel my service plan that I purchased through UCar Connect. I contact UCar and let them know what's going on, and that I need to cancel the plan and receive my prorated refund. Easy enough, they say. Send me the paperwork to fill out, and I submit it to get the process started. I'm told that it can take a couple of weeks to receive the refund, which is fine. Three weeks later, I still haven't heard back from UCar (I was told that even though the service plan is through a separate entity, UCar is the one that sends the refund to me). Contact them and I'm told that they're working on it, and it shouldn't be much longer. Another week goes by, and still nothing. Contact them again. This time, however, I'm told that the company sent a check to them, but that it was lost in the mail and that they had to have another sent. Um, seems a little suspicious, but whatever. Just get me my refund. I'm told another week and I will have the check in my mailbox. Another couple of weeks go by and the payment FINALLY arrives. Except, there's no paperwork documenting the refund or how it was calculated. Just a check from UCar, but I look at the amount and it seems a bit low for only having the plan for three months. This time I decided I wasn't even going to bother with the dealership, and contacted the service plan company directly. I tell them my concern about the amout and missing paperwork. After some investigation, they tell me that the dealership shorted me $600 on the refund, and that they're sending me a check directly. Long story short, please, please, please avoid U Car Connect. Of all of the cars I've purchased, this is by far the single worst experience I've ever had, from start to finish. I would give 0 stars if it was possible. read more

I just bought a gorgeous Audi A4 3.0 Quattro convertible for a great price at U Car Connect and had a fantastic experience! After nearly a decade working with big dealerships who couldn't care less about making individual customers happy, it was incredibly refreshing. Tom, Erik and Dillon were knowledgeable, honest, straightforward, and promised to take care of me for the life of my new vehicle. They even accepted my beloved Volkswagen convertible as a trade-in for the value I wanted and promised to try to find her a new home. Gotta be honest, I emailed them at the beginning and didn't get a response. Believe it or not, they DO have better things to do than answer emails! It's a three-man operation working their butts off to help their customers, so I understand why they don't return your email within an hour like big dealerships. If you see a car on their website that you want, I would suggest making the trek to meet the guys for yourself (rather than being Minnesota-passive-aggressive behind a computer screen). They are the kind of people who would make it up to you if you had trouble getting in touch. You will not be disappointed! read more

U Car Connect has restored my faith in car dealerships. It started with Tom the owner called late in the afternoon in response to my inquiry. He said Erik would call me the next day to answer any questions. The next day Erik, who turned out to be the best salesperson I have dealt with in all my 76 years, called! Erik, who is a ball of energy, offered to send multiple video walk around's pointing out any minor flaws. I was SOLD and bought the car, sight unseen. The next day he called me to let me know that his body shop buffed out all the minor scratches. Now this is AFTER I had paid them! While locating a transport to ship the car to Texas Erik called again to also let me know that all of the wheels had been removed, sanded and repainted and again this is AFTER I had already paid them!! I had paid $625 transport fee. Erik called me to let me know that they could not locate a transport service for $625 and setup one for $900 of which Tom and U Car Connect paid for the difference. We've bought several cars from ucarconnect and while the buying experience was okay, everyone of the them required $1000 or more in repairs within a few months. I'm not terribly impressed with the degree to which they stand behind their cars. Whatever you buy there, add a grand or more onto the purchase price because in our experience that's what's going to happen. read more

Is there a rating lower than 1 Star? If so, it would definitely be warranted for this place! We purchases an A4 wagon for my son. After 3 days and about 60 miles driven, the engine warning light came on. Tom's exact words were "there's nothing to worry about. We inspect all of our cars before we even consider selling them." Unfortunately that "nothing to worry about" light is now over $1,000 in repairs because the oil had not been changed in years! I cannot wait to tell everyone I know to never buy a car there. read more

We purchased an Audi Q5 from here a few weeks ago. We worked with Sam and Tom the owner to get this deal done. Let me start by saying the truck is beautiful sleek black truck with amaretto interior very rare. We were very impressed by the cars on the show room floor very well detailed and maintained. They put on a great sales pitch and seemed to pride themselves on service. Our car was new to the lot that week and did not have a chance to be detailed yet. My wife had some concerns about the tires but they would not budge on replacing them fully and would only pay for 2 new less quality ones. We took the car home and they agreed to have it. Detailed and to replace a broken speaker that week. We dropped the car off there after having it. For only 4 days. They gave us an older Audi loaner that when we took it. The check engine light was on the whole week. They did not have another car we could use. Then when we went to pick up our car we found it. In a bay where it. Looked like they just got done washing it.. you could tell it. Was not professionally detailed as they had boasted but done by some kid. We have pics to share as the side mirrors weren't even done my wife asked for windex before we left and did them herself. The back seat also was not touched. Next one day after taking it. Back from the dealer our check engine light comes on saying there is no oil in the truck. This was very alarming to us since we just got the car back that was suppose to get checked out for a few things. The speaker system was still broken and still is. The dealer did look at the car again and of course they said nothing was wrong and the oil is fine but we have the pictures to show. So although the car is running ok currently we just feel like the hype of the sales pitch and the general follow up on the initial problems was not to level of service we were use to with having purchased other luxury vehicles. Ok experience but for sure not as great as the greatest snowman level performance we got on buying day. The rating would be 2 and a half to 3 if they allowed half ratings here. Update **** July 24th 2019 So after writing this review one of the owners Tom contacted us to let us know they would help to resolve any issues. He mentioned to me that something in my review was off so I then went to edited it. Today I speak to Tom and he let's me know the dealership will no longer fix any of the cars problems. So since the last review the car has still not had the check oil light sensor checked. The windshield wiper randomly comes on and they fixed a chip in the windshield because that's how they sold it. To us. So after them fixing the windshield the rear view mirror came off twice.....once a few minutes ago today. Now mind you we have only had actual possesion of the car a little over a month and they have had it. Back twice. T informed us they dont want to fix their car and they do not wish to hear back from us ...he then said good day and hung up on me. They will be hearing from us about the car this wont be the end of it. Also we will update you all on the future customer service or lack there of which ever comes 1st. Pre-approval in hand I was ready to go get the car but never even got to go see it. After two emails, and two voicemails I never received a single response. My daughter just bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler from these guys and 500 miles later the caliper blew on the Jeep rendering the car un-drive-able. We gave it a front end brake job and replace the calipers. 500 miles after that the engine started knocking and now it needs a new engine. This car was $15,000. You can't convince me these guys didn't know about this knock in the engine when they were getting it ready to sell. They don't stand behind their cars (The owner, Tom,said too bad so sad) I wouldn't give this business one red penny. Lies and more lies - Visited show room twice. Will not look again or buy a car from U Car Connect. Called on car, was told it was available - "come up and look". Drove there within 15min, another salesman told me it was sold and started pushing some older cars. I said I did not want an old car with worn parts. Young kid snapped back our cars are fully inspected. I said many items can't be inspected - and could fail in the the 1st year. He snapped back all items are inspected. Of course he wanted to sell an extended warranty. After owning many cars I know what parts fail at what mileage, and do not need a kid with no knowledge trying to sell me cars I do not want.
