The sales experience was great no issues. I'm a mechanic by trade and did inspct the car top to bottom with the exception of scanning the ECU. (didn't bring my laptop) Everything checked out, drove ok so I bought the vehicle. The very next day the check engine light came on and started leaking coolant and oil both from the tstat and oil cooler and the transmission would not shift . Found who ever did their servicing did a good job covering their tracks , except permanent non-active codes were stored and had been stored for 500 ish miles, meaning they were aware of the issues and attempted to hide the problem. I called the dealer the very next day asking for copies of what their shop did and they refused and worse yet stopped communicating with me. I didn't ask for the dealer to pay for anything just send me documentation. Now have a basket case. their warranty is a joke, doesn't cover the stat or cooler which are bolted to the engine. the transmission issue requires a reflash of the ecu and a service also not covered by their warranty. The transmission work alone is going to cost over $1000 out of pocket because its dealer specific work. The prep and detail was sub par and Dan the salesman said "they only get 20 minutes to clean and detail lower priced cars to keep competitive". Both the engine and Ac filters were plugged with debris, pulled back the carpet it looked like someone dumped grass clippings under the carpet. All said and done I'll be $1400 into repairing the car. So word of advice, stay away from this used car lot and spend your money elsewhere. You'll thank me later. read more

SCAMMERS I traded my CRV in and the car I purchased from them has a check engine light on with a cylinder 6 misfire code 2 weeks later.. I call the dealership and my sales person was very rude to me and told me to take it somewhere local.. I called their shop side and without asking questions or even my name he told me take it somewhere in my local area. When you buy from a dealership you expect to be cared for better, but this place is horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone! I support small buinesses, but STAY AWAY from Driveappeal. Don't listen to a word they say. They LIE. I asked if the price tag was what I would pay walking out the door they said yes. Then they added 2k in taxes and fees. It was my first time buying a car from a dealer and they new it. On top of that 'they didn't have time to wash the car.' After I got it home and wash it myself, I found paint splatter all over the car. These people are crooks. If you care about yourself of your money, stay away. read more

I purchased a 2011 Audi A4 84, 600 miles. It's a manual...just what I wanted. Love the car. Less than 1000 miles and 2 weeks in the Low oil level light came on. I added a quart of Castrol Edge 0W40 per spec. Light goes off. Less than 200 easy, all freeway miles later, light comes on again. Crap, no pool of oil. Called the Drive Appeal, and so far I am being recited chapter and verse about not having purchased the warranty. I checked the TSB's and it could be a simple hood sensor ( who knew?). On their advice I dropped the car last night at their service department. I included the TSB. 1pm, they still have not looked at the car, but have plenty of excuses as to why. Without throwing anyone under the bus, right now....I am hoping for a call back this afternoon on a diagnosis. Best answer...Stay away. After the above experience, and a lot of run around the best I could get the dealer to agree to was to get credit on another ...more expensive vehicle...NOT full credit...I took about a $1600 hit...not including my title transfer fees. So what did I get in return? a newer lower mileage Mercedes C300....with a bad ECU. That this dealer could not figure out ( or did not want to). I pent a lot of time and got a of run around from the owner of the dealership, the service manager, the General Manager and salesman of the Eden Prairie location. The newer car never got fixed and i did not get any kind of remedy. Just a car that would not start and a $1450 fix from another dealer. It's important to note, that I would really rather give a glowing review. I tried to give the dealership many opportunities to make it right so that I would be able to write a review where they made things right. I waited to update this so that it would not be written from a tainted perspective. In the end...just stay way. It's not the pain. Buyer beware...some of the 5 star reviews of this dealer are not genuine reviews as they are from friends and relatives. N read more

New way to buy a car, at least for me. Found the car on their internet site; went for a test drive and bought the car. Not a typical car lot. All cars housed inside a warehouse, protecting them from the elements. Dan S. was our salesperson, made it easy and efficient. I think the whole thing took an hour, including Kim B.'s excellent handling of our licensing, fees, everything! There are at least three other locations in the greater metro area. Sales team was nice but that was just to sell me a crap vehicle. Two days after getting vehicle transmission starts slipping and engine light come on... take them a week to get the vehicle into there shop then to tell me there is nothing wrong and they fixed the O2 sensor that was causing the engine light. only to have the transmission slip on my way home and engine light come back on. Emailed there service manager and got no response back. Don't waste your time or money with these crooks!!! Thankfully I got the extended warranty so I'll be taking it to a place that knows how to fix things. Update- 1-5-22 going to cost 4K to fix everything their extended warranty only covering the bare minimum maybe save 700 bucks but come to find out they haven't even paid for my extended warranty coverage that I purchased from them!!!!
