Very disappointed with this entire experience. I went in for a consultation and ended up with root canal! After a very brief exam Dr. Tziros told me he had set aside time for the root canal and this was BEFORE he saw me. He then gave me injections to numb me and THEN his assistant came in to tell me I needed to pay everything right away. I was not expecting a bill of $2,000 and demanding payment immediately. I felt like a second class citizen who doesn't pay their bills. I was humiliated, insulted, and scared because I had ALREADY received the injections. TERRIBLE experience!!! read more

I went in there for a root canal and was nervous due to my immediate need: I was unable to do any research on other options but was recommended to this location by my dentist. Everything was professional and quick. The Dr. came over to chat about the procedure and gave me his thoughts before. During the procedure whenever I told him I felt a slight bit of pain or discomfort he provided more novocain without a question. Afterwards he told me how the procedure went and if I had any questions to reach out to his office. I found Tziros Endodontics online and decided to take a leap of faith and try it out for my root canal. I called to schedule and they were able to see me the next day. I had a fantastic experience all around. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Heather got me situated, took my initial x-rays, and really made me feel welcomed and at ease. Dr. Tziros took the time to explain everything to me before and after the procedure to make sure that I understood and was comfortable, showing me my x-rays and answering all of my questions. He even called me himself the next day to see how I was doing. They took tons of x-rays throughout the root canal to make sure everything was done thoroughly. I was surprised at how painless it was and, one day out, I only feel some soreness in my jaw, which is much less than I was expecting. My new insurance has a 6-month waiting period, which did not cover the procedure, but Paige still ran my insurance and saved me a few hundred dollars! 10/10 would recommend! read more

I had a root canal at Dr. Tziros' office on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. I have had a root canal 15 years ago out of state and it was traumatic! So, I went in apprehensively. The office is decorated in serene colors with a stunning view of the City and Receptionist, Laura I believe, was very pleasant and professional. The Doctor, Peter Tziros, DMD, was absolutely amazing! He was quietly confident and quite calming as he walked me through the procedure. My anxiety vanished and continue to be quelled as he worked through the root canal, occasionally humming to the music overhead. I have to say, I was thoroughly pleased with the whole procedure and it is because of Dr. Tziros! He's quite personable and, of course, knowledgeable. At fifty-five, I needed a root canal and I was terrified. When I sat in the chair I was immediately taken at the beautiful view of the city; much better view than a wall. I told everyone in there how terrified I was but there smiles, comforting words and relaxed demeanor gave me confidence in their abilities to do my root canal without fear. That said, the only pinch of pain was the Novocain needle! I was very grateful I didn't feel anything for that entire hour. I wish I could give him 0 stars. I had a horrible experience with this dentist office. Not only was he an hour late for my appointment, I got no warning about him bing late until 15 minutes after my appointment should have already started, and he was a complete jerk. He doesn't go over my x-ray before touching my mouth like most dentists do. He starts with "attempting" to numb my gums before inserting the needle, but leaves the numbing there for 30 seconds maximum. Other dentists I have had left the numbing there longer to make the needle insertion not hurt so much. Since I was getting a root canal, I would think he would do the same thing but not this dentist. Since he's running behind he jumps right to sticking the needle into my gum. I yell and cry in pain as he's hurting me and he has the nerve to tell me not to yell as if I can control my reaction to the pain. It was an all around horrible experience. I wish I had gone to a different dentist and had a better experience than I received with him. I also paid in full at the beginning but had a balance on my receipt?! read more

When I first heard I needed a root canal I was very nervous, I was happy when the receptionist at the office was super nice and helpful in explaining the billing process to me which was also something that I had anxiety about. Dr. Tziros and his hygienist were both really great at making me feel calm and explaining everything to me. They also checked in with me frequently to make sure I was doing OK . Although I hope I never need a root canal again, if I do I would definitely go back to this office! They were also really prompt in reimbursing me what I had paid versus what my insurance covered. read more

My dentist referred me to Dr. Tziros for a root canal. Although I was worried about the stigma of "root canals," he and his staff made it one of the easiest dental appointments I've ever had. Laura at the front desk explained all of the insurance information and my copayment thoroughly. The dental assistant was very pleasant and Dr. Tziros was extremely gentle. I went to my dentist who I trust and have used for years. He told me I needed a specialist and recommended Dr Tziros. They dentist called him and explained not only was I in severe pain, but that I also am a bridesmaid in a wedding in a few days. Dr Tziros said not a problem and fit me in that day. His receptionist explained all the costs, what my insurance would cover and what I would have to pay. He was very patient with me, I was in a lot of pain and crying at points. He told me what I needed to get through in order to make the pain go away. And also gave me easy signals to give if I was in any pain or needed suction. I only had to give the pain signal once and when I did he immediately slowed down and checked to make sure I was ok and could continue. It was very quick for a root canal, took less than an hour including x Ray and consultation. He then explained what I would need to do post root canal and allowed me to ask any questions I had. I would definitely recommend Dr Tziros and his team. Also I really like his office, very nicely set up, peaceful vibe. read more

I was referred to Tziros Endodontics by my dentist because I had two teeth that needed root canals. I was a little apprehensive when Dr. Tziros said he was going to do them both at the same time because they were next to each other. The big surprise was that the whole procedure went very smoothly. It didn't take as long as I thought it would and I didn't feel any pain. I expected to have some pain for a few days afterwards but it was barely noticeable. Where do I begin? DO NOT LET THIS SADISTIC HEARTLESS SICKO COME NEAR YOU! I had a horrible impacted tooth which needed root canal..my dentist suggested this lunatic...from the moment he stepped into the room, said hello, "open your mouth", stuck a swab with I imagine, numbing solution...1min later.."open your mouth", and proceeds to give novacaine after novacaine needles which were so painful..not a "are you ok"?, "how are you..complete silence..begins procedure..I felt EVERYTHING!.. tried to tell him I'm in pain..not listening..this goes on for so long and so intense.. i was making pathetic pain noises, jumping out of my chair..this went on and on for so long that I told him to stop, he is an A**hole, and I'm leaving...I have never been treated badly, so disregarded as a human being..my whole body was shaking, and I was crying..he began to talk and then continue more gently..too late, damage done,,,the issue was not the pain (root canals hurt), but the lack of human compassion that he obviously does not have..SHOCKED HE HAS A PRACTICE!
