The staff was friendly, but what I expected to be a consultation felt more like a push toward having a root canal than a discussion of all available options. After the appointment, I decided to get a second opinion before proceeding with treatment. Two different dental offices requested my 3D CT scan from this office so they could properly evaluate my situation. Both offices told me they never received it. I paid for that scan, and I was trying to make an informed decision about a significant dental procedure. Instead, I found myself unable to get other specialists the information they needed to fully evaluate my case. Whether intentional or not, the result was the same: it made getting a second opinion far more difficult than it should have been. My advice to anyone considering treatment here: if they take imaging, ask for a copy before you leave the office. Do not assume it will be sent later if you decide to seek another opinion. Patients deserve access to their own diagnostic information and the ability to explore treatment options without obstacles. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I started going…read moreto this establishment of dentistry about three years ago when it turned out that my college diet of awful cafeteria food and soda ruined my already weaker-than-paper teeth. Since that fateful day, I have gone back every time I needed a filling (okay, fillings. Lots of fillings) or any other dental problems I've had over the years. I also really need to mention why I returned time and time again: everyone here is a fabulous and friendly person! For me, someone who is quite a pain at the dentist and makes their job 10x harder, they try to make me as comfortable as they can and work with me to get the job done. I'm actually very sad that I no longer live in New Hampshire because it means that I have to find a new dentist. My heart is still broken because I miss the beautiful faces of Krothapalli Family Dental. But I thought I could heal by writing them an excellent review, which I told them I would do at my last appointment back in May. This is, in my super professional opinion, the best dentist's office in the entire world (at least for me).

They said that my son needed a root canal and since they didn't take our insurance we were quoted an out-of-pocket price of $1299 which was paid in full on the spot via credit card. The procedure took longer than expected because Dr. Horsley didn't have the longer rods in stock, then sent my son away for an hour because she wanted to make a phone call and subsequently charged us for two visits. Two weeks later we received a bill for an additional $396 so I called the office to discuss and they refused to honor the original agreed-upon price even though Dr. Horsley acknowledged the verbal agreement made by her staff and subsequently took collections action against us for $503 (unscrupulously inflated from the additional $396 they demanded because $500 is the minimum amount that can be legally reported to collections). We have filed a complaint with the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification as well as the NH Dental Society. Please reply hear if you have experienced similar issues with Dr. Horsley as I wish we had been warned of this dishonest practice beforehand.

I also live an hour away! Life happens and people are struggling with Illnesses. What is the point in offering care if you are going to turn people away when they really need it? Zero empathy, just focused on making money. And yet they call themselves a "holistic" business. That doesn't sound in alignment. Cold and uncaring. I received this Bill with a colorful past due sticker not even 30 days after the procedure! very disturbing after the amount of Money that is already paid, to receive a bill!
