On Wednesday, July 9th, I had a whitening appointment at 9:00 a.m. at Dr. Dental: Dentistry & Braces located at 861 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104. Unfortunately, I am extremely dissatisfied with the results of the treatment. After paying $540, I was expecting a professional service and results I could feel confident about, but that was not the case. I've been trying to contact the office to express my concerns, but I have not received any response. I've called multiple times, and each time I'm told that someone will call me back, but no one ever does. This has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated--not only because of the poor outcome of the whitening, but also because of the lack of accountability and follow-up. I would really appreciate a clear response on how this situation is going to be addressed. read more

The dental hygienist are wonderful and very kind, but the office staff are the worst. it's almost impossible to get ahold of any one on the phone. They were suppose to send my child's X-rays to his new dentist and I've been calling for two weeks no response no call back when I finally got someone on the phone the office said they were sending them and never did. read more

Terrible Dentists and Billing Department. Not only did they scare my daughter, but they also misdiagnosed the scope of the job. Performed a piss poor job at cleaning my daughters' teeth which required her to get them done again as they missed quite a lot. Got paid by my insurance and supposedly 14 days later there was an "insurance adjustment" that my Insurance claims to be inaccurate. They don't answer the phone nor emails. But continue to send invoices for the incorrect balance. read more

Terrible experience. The staff were rude and uncaring both times I visited. I initially went in for a cleaning and could hear the staff gossiping about other customers which is very unprofessional. The second time I went in I had to have a cavity filled. I have TMJ which makes it painful to have my jaw propped open for extended periods of time. The dentist did allow a break to let my jaw rest for a moment but seemed put out and annoyed. I will never go back. Dr. Dental you need to do better. read more

Terrible. I had an appointment and arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I ended up waiting an hour and a half. The cleaning was pathetic. It took less then 10 minutes, 2 of which was with the dentist (she may be a dental hygienist). The only thing she did was scarp near the gum of each tooth. Than an assistant (probably still a student) flossed me. The hygienist seemed to go room to room for 2-5 minutes at a time. I went because it was affordable but it was an absolute waste of time and money. I did not feel like my teeth benefited at all. read more

Rochelle the receptionist was absolutely atrocious she was rude when booking appointment and even lied to me about my own insurance and could've brought me into so much debt. As I thought her and stated that yes my insurance is almost out of money and it is shared throughout the family but who is she to tell me that I was wrong and only after our appointment she called the insurance company and they've told her that she was completely wrong and I quote this word from here mouth "OMG" as the insurance company tell her she was wrong and completely lied to me making me think we had money in our account. So one of my family member went in to get fillings and she even did the math out and I said no that is wrong but she kept arguing with me over and over and just overall giving us attitude and telling me I was the one who was wrong about insurance but I told her to call them but she only did so after our appointment. So one message to you Rochelle your are unacceptable, unprofessional, rude, incompetent and I hope they fire you. The biggest problem I have with this place is the one of the male receptionist's that work here. He is so compLetely rude and I can see from the reviews that other people have had problems with him as well. He is so unprofessional and literally texted my phone asking me to confirm my appointment I said I needed to cancel it (my babysitter fell through) and he got all rude saying I'm cancelling last minute and they blocked off this time specifically for me and he said this all through text which is very unprofessional. The only reason I went heRe is because it accepted my insurance but next time I will be finding a different plAce. This guy needs to be fired already. Second, I have a problem with the crown that I did in different clinic and I need a report from them so I can get my refund but they kept telling me they will give it to me. I am literally terrified of going to the dentist. Not just the experience but the prices. I do have dental insurance this summer I went to gentle dental and left crying. Today Dr Dental was amazing! The whole staff was very sympathetic to my extreme anxiety and Dr Dukas was very kind and caring. I do have more work to be done but I was also amazed how inexpensive it will be! This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! My first appointment was for a cleaning in the afternoon. I waited an hour and 15 minutes in the waiting room before I went and asked how much longer it would be, They couldn't answer me, so I rescheduled the appointment for 8am another day. That went fine, except the dentist didn't tell me I had a cavity, so I found out I had to schedule another appointment when I went to pay from the receptionist. The cavity appointment went fine. However, since then I have had two cleanings schedules, both for 8am. They confirm these cleaning by an automated text system. The first one was cancelled the night before by someone calling me at late the night before "because the doctor had something come up". I finally rescheduled, after numerous text messages from their system telling me I am over due for a cleaning, for this morning at 8am. I got the text message reconfirming the appointment at 4pm last night. I show-up at 7:45am today to be told by the receptionist that they tried to call me last night, the doctor can't make the appoinmnet until 9am. She tried to say they called me last night, but the number was wrong. I explained that I have had the same number for over 10 years, and I get all their text messages, so I know they have the correct number and no one called! She said well you are still going to get sceen. Apparently I was just supposed to sit there for an hour and wait!! I have a job, I can't say I have a dentist appoinmnet at 8am, it's just a cleaning I should be working by 9am then not show up for 10! I don't understand how they run a business like this! I never had a problem with the work done there, but I don't have time to just sit and wait for when they have time. That is the point of having an appointment. The dentist was very rude and cold towards my son. She seemed annoyed that he was nervous. After the x-rays she told me his tooth had a cavity to the nerve and needed to be extracted, which I told her can't be done to my 7 year old without some form of anesthesia. She referred us to another office because she does not do anesthesia. The other office repeated x-rays and told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with that tooth, and even if there was it shouldn't be pulled because it's an adult tooth. I am so glad I got a second opinion and I will never bring my children there again. read more

Just came back from an appointment. Filled out all of their paperwork, and got to the privacy section. There was a clause in the privacy section that appeared, to me, to allow any and all government agencies to access my information without a warrant. I asked the receptionist if that was the case. She talked to the doctor, and, sure enough, that was the case - any and all information can and will be shared with any government agency that asks for it, all without a warrant. I asked if I could add a note that states that I do not consent to this clause, as I believe I'm not obligated to consent to violations of my constitutional rights (yet). They disagreed, and they denied me service, leaving me to walk home in pain. read more

My experience with Dr. Dental, specifically Dr. Chan, has been great so far. The staff in the front are always friendly and prompt to greet. I have not had to wait longer than 5 or so minutes to be seen and was able to get in next day for an emergency visit. RUN AWAY!!! This place is a scary shop of horrors. My daughter went in for a molar extraction. The doctor is a barbarian. An inexperienced egotistical unrealistic moron. The day of extraction dentist couldn't get her numb. 5+ vials of novocaine later he proceeds to extract the tooth anyway. Knowing that my daughter isn't numb Dr Pabaney knowingly subjected her to unbearable pain. She almost passed out. He proceeded to torture her 3 times even after she told him STOP because of unbearable pain. When I was called into the room she was crying in extreme agony. He sat her up and told her to come back in a week. Yes! You read that right. He's telling her to leave! Shes suffering from a botched extraction. The pain is radiating through her entire face, head and neck. He then blamed his inadequacy on her having anxiety. (She didn't have anxiety until things went wrong and he began hurting her) Next he blamed it on infection (he was aware) there was no referral to a surgeon until I demanded one! This level of incompetence is terrifying. It was a nightmare! The dentist should've recognized this was above his ability and never attempted this extraction. Under no circumstances should a dentist knowingly and intentionally inflict pain and suffering. This is barbaric and unethical treatment of a patient. The dentist is remorseless. PS. Do your research. You can view a dentists licensing info online. I should add the office manager saw this review and called to be nasty rude and lie about the situation. The next day the oral surgeon asked me, "who did this to her?" The oral surgeon was wonderful but him and his staff where appalled at the state my daughter arrived in. Sorry, first and last visit today. I probably should have known better when I called for an appointment, asked if the dentist was experienced with patients with autism and the answer I received was, "Um, I'm not really sure. but they do see a lot of pediatric patients." Even asking the front desk staff the day of the appointment, I was met with a blank stare. My daughter has autism and has anxiety seeing dentists. As a result, any dental work that has been done to date (she's a teenager) has resulted in her needing the laughing gas. As I filled out the paperwork, I noticed there was nowhere on the medical form to even note she had autism. Made it back to the room after about 45 mins of waiting. They start to do x-rays. The woman doing the x-rays seemed to have zero patience with my daughter. It made me wonder if she had even looked at the paperwork I had filled out. Once it was noted that she needed a root canal, I was basically shamed by the dentist. We moved to the area a couple of years ago and I have not found a good family dentist yet. He essentially called​me a bad parent, and told me there was no excuse for it. Referred me out to an endodontist that their office "works closely" with (although it was then noted to me at the front desk this particular endodontist may not be in my network so it may be more expensive, and they may not be able to properly sedate my daughter) I was then told by the lady that did the x-rays that I should just "tell my daughter to hold her mouth open for 45 minutes, it shouldn't be that bad, it's not that long. At this point, I'm absolutely done with this office. I will find a non judgmental dentist and one that has plenty of experience with pediatric patients with autism. Oh, also, they were unable to call my daughter's prescriptions in for 5 hours due to the fact they were in a staff meeting. I had to call and remind them to call it in after being told at the office (11:30am) it'd be called in within the hour. read more

Every time I go to Dr. Dental on Hanover street in Manchester, I always have to wait an extra 30+ minutes. My last appointment was the beginning of September 2020 for a cleaning at 10 am. I wasn't actually seen until after 10:25, and then was seen by an assistant for the first half of the cleaning and then waited another 15 minutes until Dr. Sinyh came in and rushed through the rest of the cleaning. The staff is very careless and not thorough. I had a tooth on the top that broke weeks prior to coming in, which I had fixed at a different dentist because I was out of town at the time. Not once did anybody at Dr. Dental mention anything about the fixed tooth, nor did they check to see if it was fixed properly. The last time I went to Dr. Dental in late 2019, they mentioned that I had a tooth on watch, so I thought it was the one on the top that recently broke. When I brought it up to the dentist, they said that I had 2 on the bottom that were on watch and none on the top... why would my tooth have so much decay in it and break if that wasn't the one watch?? They did not even recheck my 2 bottom teeth that were previously on watch to see if they have improved or not. I am also currently undergoing orthodontic treatment and in need of a tooth implant but cannot get one until the orthodontic treatment is complete. The staff mostly spoke to me about getting an implant as soon as possible (which I have told them every other time I come in that I am going to get one after my ortho treatment), they only seem to care about getting a referral somewhere rather than the actual wellbeing of their patients. This past visit was the last straw for me and I will be going to a different dentist for my dental treatments. I am very unhappy with Dr. Dental. read more

Manchester, NH -- Dr. Qureshi Went to have a tooth extracted. After taking my x-ray she put the first novocaine needle in, then the second and third right after one another. All were very painful. She waited about 30 seconds for it to kick in and pulled the tooth. I have had teeth pulled before and this was the most painful of all of them. I asked if she was going to give me something for the pain and she said no. I got out of the chair and the nurse went to get my discharge paperwork. I felt lightheaded, dizzy and thought I was going to pass out so I sat back in the chair. The Dr. walked by and asked if I was okay and I shook my head no. She said, "wait while I get the nurse". At that point, I thought that I was having the worst panic attack ever. I couldn't catch my breath, I was trembling, hot & cold, and panicking. They took my blood pressure 91/34 and again at 98/55. They kept asking me if I felt better and if I had someone that could pick me up. In my foggy brain, I called for a ride 4 times but don't remember calling at all. I was completely panicked. I heard someone say "you have another walk-in". They just wanted me out of their office! After 15-20 min I was able to get myself together to walk out to my car and wait for my ride. I thought that it was the worst panic attack ever, BUT IT WASN'T. I called my primary care Dr. and she told me that it was because the novocaine was injected into a blood vessel and not into a vein. Dr. Qureshi didn't know this??? She let me think that I was having a panic attack when it was, in fact, her that made a mistake??? She is a Dr. she must have been well aware what was happening to me. What if this happened a few minutes later? I would have been driving down the road and I could have killed someone. Her clinical notes said, "she left in good condition". No! I left panicked, unable to think straight, unable to drive, in a ton of pain, unstable and did I mention PANICKED?? I made a complaint to my insurance company and hope that she will be reprimanded for her lack of knowledge or pure ignorance in this matter. How could she not know what SHE had done by the symptoms that I had? I'm completely disgusted by how she dealt with the situation. read more

Came here for my cleaning last year and had no problems. However this year I saw a new doctor (some Indian woman whose name I have forgotten) and she was not friendly whatsoever and rushed through the whole cleaning. What should've taken a half hour, she did in 10 minutes. Not to mention she was 35 minutes late and didn't even apologize. Worst dentist I have ever been to. Have had to visit multiple times to have them fix a mistake and they continue to make mistakes, causing me pain. I cannot chew without pain. They also altered the shape of my teeth without my knowledge, causing none of my molars to align. All in all I do not trust them at all and there was no communication. read more

I have had minor issues with this place in the past... ex. The front receptionist having an attitude, and my filling came out the next day while flossing. The filling was fixed asap for free, and I'm not sure if the receptionist even still works there. We brought our two children today, (5, and 18 months) they were exceptionally friendly and polite and kind with our children. Very gentle ladies who cleaned their teeth, and the dentist was informative and straight forward. Overall given my recent experiences, I would def recommend this place. It is currently almost 8:30 and the receptionist JUST walked up to the door and is opening now. The dentist isn't here yet and my appointment is in 4 minutes.
