Chicken Souvlaki - In a Greek Pita.

We were passing by and saw this spot. It was giving off a very authentic Greek vibe. Unfortunately we were wrong and were quite disappointed. Our meals were quite dry and lacked tzatziki which would could have helped

Dropped my Tziki for lunch and their Greek pita with chicken breast kebab did not disappoint! Filled with red onion, tomatoes, smoked paprika and Greek yogurt, every bite packed a punch! Chicken breast was very juicy, cooked perfectly. I paired my pita with spicy tomato saltsa. I also ordered a side of Greek fries to get a bit of crunch. Perfect meal on the go! The shop is small but can seat 20 people for lunch. It was very busy during lunch which was a good sign for us to know it's a good choice! Service was speedy.

Loved the beef kebab in pita. Service was great! It's a nice place to stop by for a quick lunch or bite

Super cozy spot with limited seating, but serving delicious pitas! Came with a friend and we sat outside - we ordered the tzatziki to share and both ordered a pita. Food came out really fast! Tzatziki (4/5): not the best tzatziki dip I had but still really good. Extremely flavor and comes with a side of pita. I wish the pita was a bit fluffier but it was served warm! Pork gyro in a pita (4/5): Pork was the most slightly dry but would highly recommend adding the fries, which were my favorite part of the pita. Crispy and seasoned to perfection. The inside was also stuffed with fresh veggies and tart greek yogurt which made for a bite full of flavors and textures. Recommend for a quick weeknight dinner!

Outstanding food!! I'm not Greek, but I can taste the flavor and quality of the food. I had the Spetzofai and my daughter had the pork gyro Souvlaki - In a Greek Pita. She was not used to seeing what she saw because we're from LI and don't have a lot of authentic places. I'm definitely coming back again to try one of the gyros!!!

This place is great. We got the special and it trumped whatever was on their regular plates. Fries in the pots, halloumi, a nice tomato sauce. It was delectable. Their regular pita wraps, ok. Get the special. $18 Friendly staff. Communal style seating inside. Great location right on the corner

I got the Chicken Souvlaki in a Pita and it was so so so tasty. Perfect ratios of all ingredients and the pita itself was one of the best pitas Ive ever had like it was so fresh and soft. The vibe inside the restaurant was so serene and beautiful, very Greek!

Mushroom sandwich in grilled pita , so earthy and good

Tasty Greek style sandwiches in Chelsea. I got the Wild Mushroom sandwich which was earthy and juicy and really quite delicious. It's not that big for $13 but I enjoyed it . Be aware that there are onions on this sandwich (you might want to ask for it without.) My friend had the chicken skewer which he thought was a bit dry but had tasty pita bread with it (and is probably better in a sandwich. ) The Greek Fries are a large portion that two can definitely share but I thought it had a lot of spicy seasoning on it . Next time I might ask for fries without the seasoning. I also had their Sour Cherry drink . That is delicious ! Get that , I think it is from Greece . They also have Coke or Diet Coke in glass bottles on ice . The staff are really friendly and this place seemed busy . Nice spot on 22nd and 7th Avenue.

My friend is pregnant and she is craving for light Greek food and ended up in this place. It is nice, not too big and you can still have a seat while enjoying the food. We love the food and the service. They gave us free haloumi with pita bread to everyone in the store. Ambiance so good. Service are so friendly!

If you're in the mood to grab a great souvlaki or some dips with pita , this is the place to be. We tried the chicken skewers and halloumi skewers in addition with the chicken and the mushroom souvlaki! They also have some great salads and specials that you should try. Great spot to pick up a quick lunch special. They also offer outdoor seating. The service is great and it's a cute spot ! Please try it when you get a chance, the owner and the staff are super friendly and make some great recommendations!

A line at opening. Only open two days and there's a line. Souvlaki and sour dough pita make this Greek French casual a hit! The old Restivio space on the corner of 22nd St. Ate: Mushroom souvlaki Chicken skewer Tzatziki Greek salad Total $35 The mushroom souvlaki is ridiculous! The flavor is soo unique and the sour dough pita is outstanding. Will be back for more.

This is the cutest little Greek restaurant to grab a quick bite! Everything from the aesthetic to the customer service was 10/10! I ordered the Greek fries and beef kabob. Everything was packed with lots of flavor. I loved the little notes of fresh herbs and lemon. Absolutely loved my experience here!

For example, the lentil and chicken soups were fabulous. The chicken soup was filled with real chicken in a creamy broth. The lentil soup was soothing yet extraordinary--something you wished would last and last. Even the cold spinach salad was scrumptious. To accompany these appetizers was bread, a round mound of deliciousness. At first it looked like far too much for just a couple of people, but it tasted so good that it was gone before we knew it. The entrées were served quickly and in generous portions. The dessert, rice pudding, was also a real treat! The waitress was very kind and truly attentive. Maybe we've been spoiled by our favorite restaurant back in St. Louis (Afghan Kabob House) but Ariana's was underwhelming. The server was friendly but the food was just ok. Pricey due to the location as expected but also underwhelming taste wise. We got the aushak, mantu, and kadoo bolanee (pumpkin curry with bread). All three surprisingly looked very similar (photos look almost identical as they had the same sauce drizzled with yogurt). The aushak has leeks inside while the mantu has beef. The beef was drier than we were used to and the aushak less flavorful with overpowering onion. The pumpkin was cooked in what looked like the same sauce as well but the baked bread it came with was good. They did offer complimentary chickpeas which were tastier however. Maybe other items on the menu would've been better picks!

Two grilled, seasoned patties that looked like they bench press on weekends. Fresh garden salad to keep it "balanced" (tomatoes, red onions, shredded lettuce -- because we respect vegetables... sometimes). Seasoned roasted potato wedges with herbs? Elite. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside -- the kind of potatoes that make you question every fry you've ever had. Vegetable stew with eggplant and tomatoes came in strong too. Rich, hearty, no nonsense. Then I finished it off with baklava that basically whispered, "You earned this, king." Perfectly sweet, flaky, dangerous. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and inviting -- exactly the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, whether you're there for a quiet dinner or celebrating with friends. The quality of the food was outstanding across the board. I ordered the Sultani Kebab, which was perfectly grilled, beautifully seasoned, and incredibly tender -- every bite melted in my mouth. My friend had the Lamb Shank, and it was equally phenomenal: slow-cooked to perfection, falling off the bone, and bursting with rich, authentic Persian flavors. The saffron rice was fluffy and fragrant, the bread was fresh and warm, and even the appetizers and salads showed real care and attention to detail. We literally cleaned our plates -- not a grain of rice left behind! What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. Musa, the manager, is in a league of his own. Despite the restaurant being absolutely packed on the night we visited, he handled everything with grace, professionalism, and a genuine smile. He made sure we were seated quickly, checked in on us throughout the meal, and made every single guest feel like a VIP. Musa and his team are a powerhouse -- incredibly strong, well-coordinated, attentive, and passionate about what they do. You can tell they take real pride in their work, and that energy radiates throughout the entire restaurant. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions, the premium quality of the ingredients, and the top-tier service. It's rare to find a place that nails all three -- food, ambiance, and hospitality -- but Ravagh absolutely does. My friends and I left feeling completely satisfied, well-fed, and already planning our next visit. If you're looking for authentic Persian cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting with a team that truly cares, Ravagh is the place. To drink, I ordered the Tehrani Mule; a take on the moscow with a house made ginger lime juice. 8/10; a tad watery. We decided to go family style with ordering and chose the mediterranean salad, kotlet, and falafel to start. The falafel was perfectly crisp with a slightly smoky outer crust that added really great texture and flavor. A bit dry tho -- Needed the hummus and Mezze Platter to dress it up a little. Salad was refreshing, crispy and a great palette cleanser across the table. The combo platter + mixed rice was fabulous. Chicken was tender and came right off the bone (something I'm new to but it was good!). It came with a side of tzatziki and persian zhoug (?) - a minty and herby chutney that just added another layer to the aromatics of the dish. Although the rice was great, it was a really large portion even for the group of 5. It would've been nice to have the option to split to a half portion of vegetables or different grain to balance quantity. Overall 8.9/10 - Definitely worth a visit with a group for business dinner or catching up on a friend's night out. The service is great, everyone is super attentive and you can really feel that the food with made with love. So glad I tried this place and I'll be back to give their dolmeh and dessert a taste!
