All the others required us to do that ourselves which is doable but a bit complicated. We received quotes from 1/2 a dozen companies and none of them could provide a design that included all the details we had on our wish list except for Flooring & Cabinet Outlet! On top of finally getting a design we wanted Shawn's quote was so competitively priced we knew he was the right choice. Shawn was so responsive over email, phone and even text. As we corresponded over the project, we always had the information we needed from him and never felt lost or ignored. Shawn kindly offered to review all the appliances we had chosen before purchase to confirm that they would work within the design and measurements .Our fridge was a unique, non-standard size and Shawn even sent us the exact product he recommended, and we love it! Shawn's team installed our cabinetry, countertops and sink pluming. They had completed their work in just 3 consecutive days! The crew was polite and kept the place clean as possible. We are so happy with the results. I would hire Shawn and his team again and again if given the opportunity.

They had a nice selection, were reasonably priced and did a great job cutting. They were pleasant to work with too. However, we did have a more significant issue and I'm not a fan of how it was handled (or rather lack there of). During installation, I was told the seam on the counter would line up with the same matching backsplash lip. I came back into the room and it was already done but not lined up (2.5" apart) - no attempt to tell me even though I was home. I spoke with the owner Eric after who assured me that it could be corrected. I offered to pay. He implied that was not needed and he would text or call me back to schedule. He didn't. This happened several times. Now my backsplash tile is about to go in. Perhaps this would be a non-issue for most. For us, we are installing large format tile, and so in this case there will be three different seams within a 6" space - not aesthetically pleasing in our opinion. Each time I reached out to owner over a few weeks, he assured me no problem they would take care of and schedule. I was ghosted each time. Couple of other smaller issues we noticed that we can live with that aren't earth shattering: backsplash different height in separate area, they added a metal piece above dishwasher and now it makes a metal scraping sound when it closes, underside of island counter has netting. If you want a reasonable deal and quality, they are a decent option. If details like this matter to you, look elsewhere. I personally will look elsewhere for any future work. ETA: just realized the island was not cut straight. The edges have wobbles when running hand along.

Getting a new stone countertop for a small kitchen can be a challenge, because most stone suppliers…read moreand fabricators require that you buy an entire slab-- which can be VERY pricey! I must've gone to a dozen different places that stated that they had remnants, only to find the selection to be minimal or non-existant. Fairfax Marble in Merrifield had the widest selection of marble, quartzite, and granite remnants I've ever seen! Enes was so helpful and patient, he knew what I was looking for, and was able to zero in on many pieces for me to consider-- out of what seemed like a thousand different slabs and pieces! I found the perfect remnant for a kitchen needing only 26 sq feet of stone. Then, Enes was able to schedule measuring and templating on only a day's notice! The installation followed almost immediately afterwards. Fairfax Marble will work with you-- or your contractor-- to find just the right stone, and they'll help you plan the edges, overhang, and any cut-outs or holes that need to be made for fixtures. I would highly recommend them for any size kitchen-- but especially for the smaller kitchen where you don't want or need to spend the extra money on a whole slab that you'll never use!

The sink was crooked to start with. For us, this was a huge investment and expense! Now, just a few years later, there is a leak between the sink and the quartz. I was told that this happens when the company used inferior adhesives to attach the sink to the countertop. When I called down to discuss this, the first guy that answered accused me of throwing heavy objects into the sink, meaning their defective work was my fault. The second guy kept telling me about his $70,000 car with peeling paint, and that I should accept their subpar workmanship! AVOID this company at any cost!

We hired Faithful Floors to refinish the hardwood floors in our Vienna, Virginia home. The work was…read morecompleted shortly thereafter and we paid in full. We were asked not to step into the area until the next day to allow for drying time. The next day we entered the area and saw the work was unsatisfactory (uneven finish, blotches, and damaged baseboards/ceiling/doors and porch entry rug). We immediately contacted Faithful's owner and his son to make the repairs. After repeated attempts, the son finally responded (said he was on vacation) and agreed to have a worker come out to our house to do the repairs. The worker ended up being the same worker who did the unsatisfactory work in the first place! Though he did make some improvements, the work still fell considerably short of being satisfactory (same issues of uneven finish, blotches and damaged areas). We then asked Faithful to provide reasonable compensation as we were moving. Without coming out to review the damage, the son then offered a lowball amount saying "the work was done to standard and according to the contracted agreement". The work was obviously not up to standard as shown in the attached photos. We then went out of pocket to have the damaged wall baseboards, doors, and ceiling marks painted. We had to trash our outside welcome rug which was also stained. Since then, Faithful has ignored our multiple text messages and remains non-responsive. Their tactic appears to be silence in hopes that we will simply go away. I waited some time before writing this review in hopes that they would work with us, but nothing. My only advice to those seeking floor resurfacing is to not do business with them and Buyer beware!

I had a great experience with K&K. Their initial estimate was higher than others, but, Patrick was…read moreso responsive I went with them anyway. And, once I picked floors it turned out that they were comparable or a bit less than other companies. K&K was able to take up old engineered hardwood and install new engineered hardwood in my entire condo in just three days. The staff worked hard, but with care, right down to placing furniture on cardboard so it wouldn't damage my new floors, and vacuuming up wood scraps at the end of the day so my cat wouldn't get a splinter. When it turned out my dishwasher was leaking, they even helped me remove it so we could put new floors under it. Overall, I would 100% recommend this company. They did great work, and offered great customer service too.
