She said that they were and walked us right over to the pieces we were interested in. She gave us information on pricing and availability. We let her know we were going to do more looking around the store, as we were in the market for rugs and artwork. She said to let her know if we needed help with anything, and she still checked on us as we looked around. She also helped us in finding chairs with custom fabric that we were interested in. We had to go home and measure and figure out how things were going to fit. We came back to see Courtney a few days later and she set up our orders for delivery! We asked about installation and found out they were over 2 months booked, so we decided to do it ourselves. The staff were very courteous and helpful, but they underestimated our amount of grout and way overestimated our amount of tile needed. I think if you are going to do the work yourself you are better off going to Menards or Home Depot. We ended up paying 40 dollars for an additional 10 # bag of grout that I found later at Menards priced at 10 dollars (the exact same material) Live and learn!

Needed a 3/8" PIPE tap. I'm 50 miles away, but I have a friend driving through Brainerd this…read moreafternoon on their way here. They agree to stop and pick up the tap. I text her what I needed, capitalizing the word PIPE so there's no mistake. When she shows the text to the kid working there, he asks a lot of questions about the length of pipe she wants. She calls me and puts the kid on the phone. I explain I need a 3/8-inch PIPE tap. He seems to understand, but when my friend got to my place, again FIFTY miles away, it was a standard 3/8-16 tap for a bolt, not a PIPE. Big difference! I suspect that this store hires kids to fill shoes at minimum wage, and they don't need to know anything about hardware, just have a nice smile. I'd return it, but I'm not about to drive a hundred miles round-trip for an eight-dollar tap. I'll order one from Amazon, and wait a couple of days. This place isn't worth the hassle and grief to deal with the incompetence. Even Home Depot does a better job. BTW, the new ACE Hardware in McGregor is ON THEIR GAME! Unlike this place, those guys KNOW the hardware business! Pop
