Hired to work on a small remodel , expand the kitchen, move a bathroom, wire an off peak water heater and a few other things . . Was given an estimate of time and material. Would not give me an upfront cost . So the guy showed up with an apprentice, which in itself is ok . Every time I turned around I found myself in conversation with the guy. This kind of raised a red flag, but let it go. After the first phase of the work was completed I asked for the bill out of good faith pay as you go. I was charged full price for the electrician , and full price for the apprentice who had maybe 6 months of experience and obviously can not work unsupervised on actual wiring. So I expressed my concern to the the electrician who had to come by and get a tool he forgot and thought we had an agreement going forward. The owner sent me an email stating they do not want to work anymore never addressing my concerns. Now I understand what time and material mean. Asked owner to reconsider and asked for a phone call to address concerns and was just given a return email indicating it would not be a good fit . No phone call , Never addressing my main concern of being charged full price for a new apprentice on a time sensitive job ! read more

If I could rate less than 1 star I would. Work was mediocre which I could possibly look past if the owner could conduct himself professionally and not act like a petulant child. He was very hard to communicate with, never committed to timing and not once but twice, called to rant at us for asking questions like when he could fit us into his schedule, despite having a contract with him nearly a year old (in addition to half down to do the work). Apparently 6 weeks just isn't enough notice for him. We never did learn what adequate notice was for him. Thank goodness we're finally finished with our build. Out of all of the contractors we worked with, this guy stood out the most and not in a good way. I would not recommend. read more

I hired Evergreen Electric to add switches and outlets to my kitchen that was being remodeled. They also installed new lighting and some additional outlets throughout our house. The estimate for this work was good and they worked with me regarding the timing of my kitchen remodel. Their quality of work was great. I wouldn't hesitate working with them again and would recommend them to anybody I know. read more
