Been a while since we have been there. Walked in and couldn't figure where to go, they changed things around. No one was at the front desk. Finally figured out where the entrance to the restaurant was. There was a sign there that asked to wait to be seated. I noticed there was a large group of people sitting at one table. Just a couple other tables with people at them. Noticed no one had any food or eating. I thought wow, this is going to be a long wait. Then we stood there for what seemed to be forever waiting to be seated. Didn't see anyone anywhere , except a park ranger talking to someone through a door way. We decided to leave, and then was questioned what we wanted by the park ranger. We said we were planning on eating dinner, but no one was around. Well he got snippy with us, and asked how long we waited? I said longer than I wanted and we were leaving. He continued to act like we did something wrong, and my wife told him that we had been waiting for quiet awhile. So we left. Listen, I don't mind waiting to be seated. I do mind being ignored, and not being waited on. We never seen a person at either desk, not one waitress / waiter on the floor in the dinning area. With the number of people sitting at the tables waiting for food, there was no way I was going to be there for two hours waiting on them to wait on us. If this place was really busy with tables full, or at least seeing waiters/ waitresses busy on the floor waiting on tables, I would have stayed. But when you stand there for five minutes and don't even see on employee anywhere, well maybe the park ranger was holding up the staff. I know his attitude towards us didn't help the disappointment. I don't think they are going to make it with that kind of service. Maybe the food is good, but I'll probably never find out. read more
