The restaurant was a welcomed stop as we were traveling several hours from home. There are sandwiches and typical "diner food" choices. The place is bigger than it looks. Additional outside seating is also available. We started with fried pickles. I have never seen pickles cut in long pieces and fried. I have only had the ones cut in small circular pieces and fried. I like the longer ones. My vegetarian black bean burger was amazing. It wasn't something frozen and warmed. This was made at the restaurant. The fries were tasty. Great place! I think the girl running the register and the food was an owner's daughter and she was no bullshit, which I super appreciated. Seemed like a hard worker and was helpful with food choices for someone who had never been to town before. I'm giving this place five stars even though I wasn't a huge fan of my meal... but I took a risk on something I thought I'd like, and just didn't. But that's a matter of taste and not whether it was good or not. I ordered the steak quesadilla, which I expected to have a better flavor, but it was more like shaved steak that you get in a Philly cheese steak than what you'd get in a quesadilla. No big, just not my jam. I love the glasses they give for in-house dining. Cute Mason jar looking things. And they have a HUGE variety of menu items to choose from that all look awesome. Great atmosphere! Really good food! I only had sides, but my date got a burger. And he loved it. Their baked beans are delicious! Service was on point. Drinks were always filled, and plates were taken appropriately. The only reason to dock one star was the bathroom. No toilet paper. Kind of a big deal. Don't know why I haven't reviewed this place sooner. My family has been stopping here every time we are in Grafton the past couple years. By the looks of the place, it is a hole in the wall, but go in and you are greeted by a friendly and attentive staff, they made their own furniture, and unique menu. The menu is sooooo everything and anything, you can come back over and over and not have anything close to the same thing. They have sandwiches, burgers, chicken wings, salads and apps. I always get the Devil's Breath Wings (super hot) and something new, never disappointed. You really need to try this place. You will be pleasantly surprised. read more

Huge portions, expect to have enough to share. It's so nice to have a restaurant like this in downtown Grafton. The menu offers many combinations of classic American fare: salads, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries. The old store building was a market managed by the owner's grandfather (or was it great grandfather?). High ceilings, windows all the way across the front, and rustic renovation and home made 2x4 benches and tables. Order at the counter, a modern restaurant approach I am not crazy about but it's the fashion, and they bring out your food. Quick, friendly service, generous portions, well cooked and tasty. I think this one will have some staying power, as it's good quality, good value, and a good place for the whole family. read more

Had the chicken, bacon and gravy chicken sandwich for brunch last week, thought about it all week and came back this weekend for it again. The Mac & cheese egg rolls are great. Great atmosphere and a quality of food you would expect in a higher population region. Everything cooked to perfection, great music and very clean. I had a steak salad cooked medium, with fries.
