Then I would dine in this Polish Restaurant weekly or as a treat on the weekend. Today was an hour and a half drive for Me but soooo worth it. Family Owned Business with Polish Cuisine, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Brunch on the weekends is Smaczne - Oh My Deeelicous! Ambiance: Great service, Welcoming Atmosphere and Favorite Diner Place for locals, out of town visitors or like Me visiting a family member. Menu Variety is inexpensive and the best way to taste test is order a combo platter. Free Bakery Bread and Cracker Basket with soft butter. My photos attached will make you hungry for Polish Cooking to make the drive here. The Cooks, Three Brothers and other staff are unique and talented with several daily homemade soups to start off your comfort dining experience. Restaurant serves small or large groups. Went to dinner with some friends and decided to check this place out…read more AMBIANCE: definitely a casual place. place your order at the counter, and there are a dozen or so tables and booths where you can sit with your party. they have a number of pinball machines which adds to the "vibe" of the place. If I were in my teens again, I could see myself hanging out here quite a bit. SERVICE: the people working the counter were very friendly, and very busy as there were a lot of to go orders. Didn't have a lot of questions, though they did make recommendations that we found to be helpful. MENU: tacos, burritos and burgers oh my! You can also build bowls - choose your meat, toppings and away you go. They also have nachos and loaded fries which I am a big fan of. They only have one burger, and it is a smash burger, along with a chicken sandwich (both regular and spicy) FOOD: my wife went with a carne asada taco, while I opted for the smash burger. We also went with the carne asada loaded fries. Drinks are by the bottle, and nothing to outrageous to choose from, so we went with iced tea. the Carne asada on both the tacos and fries almost looked like ground beef, but upon close inspection, realized it was just chopped a bit finer than we were used to. The smash burger had a "big mac" flavor profile to it, and was tasty. The carne asada fries were good, and were more than enough for my wife and I. OVERALL: not a bad spot for casual meal with some friends. If I wanted burgers or a taco specifically, I may go somewhere else, but if you are with people that want both options, check this place out. CELEBRITY RATING: Carlos Mencia

Wow so glad we decided to give them a try!…read more This was a delicious smash burger. It really was. The seasoned fries were great and if you know me, I hate seasoning on fries. But these, keep them coming! I also tried two tacos. The chicken and cauliflower. The cauliflower was the best out of the two tacos and I was so surprised. Service was great as well. The inside was so much fun. It had lots of pinballs machines to play with. They also had crane machines.

My coworkers decided to come here for dinner after a long shift. A few of them had been here before…read morebut I had never. We came on a Wednesday evening and I was so shocked to find the parking lot so full! And walking in, I was just as shocked to see how big this place was on the inside. Plenty of seating for sure! Of course we had reservations so that was nice and probably highly recommended. We enjoyed the bread and butter provided to the table as we mingled. They even had gluten free bread ($5 extra). We all ordered a variety of foods. I ordered the waygu meatloaf with mashed potatoes & string beans and it was really enjoyable. It was like eating an elevated home-cooked meal. Everybody was genuinely satisfied. And they provide separate checks so that was also a nice addition to our evening.

They were fairly busy, but we had a reservation and were seated quickly in the Lodge portion of the restaurant. Despite the busyness, the server was attentive throughout our time there. The starting complementary bread was warm and crusty, and it was a good sign of things to come. To start, I ordered a Peach Bourbon and my husband got the Cranberry Incipient to drink. The cocktail was excellent and the flavors were well balanced. My husband said the beer was nice but surprisingly sweet. Later, I ordered the Party Starter NA cocktail which was tart but nicely spiced. For food, we split the coconut shrimp appetizer which came with a sweet Orange Malibu glaze. The sweetness of the glaze paired well with the subtle coconut flavor of the shrimp and they were fried well. I ordered the Baseball steak medium rare with fried Brussels sprouts and Parmesan whipped potatoes as sides. The sides were great, and while the steak was very flavorful, it was a little tough and on the rarer side for my taste. My husband ordered the beef Wellington with cauliflower, carrots, and green beans. The beef was perfectly cooked and the mushroom duxelle was very tasty, but unfortunately the pastry was underbaked (although I know that is notoriously difficult to get just right). The sides were lackluster, lacking any seasoning and likely just steamed with butter. The portion sizes were good; we ate nearly all of it minus a few bites of the sides and were comfortably full. But of course, we couldn't stop there. We ordered the molten lava cake and were convinced by the waiter (without too much effort) to add vanilla ice cream. It was wonderful, but incredibly rich and decadent. Overall, it was a great experience and this is a place we would eat at again.

The biscuits however were fantastic - fluffy and buttery and warm. I ordered 2 meals because I'm a big back and I wanted leftovers to bring to my dad. For sides I got green beans, mashed potatoes, Coleslaw, and Mac and cheese. All of the sides were below average in my opinion with the exception of the coleslaw which was super tasty and not too creamy. The green beans especially were way way too overcooked and mushy. Same thing with the Mac and cheese - not impressed at all. The chicken was good but not as "fried" as I had hoped nor was it seasoned enough. With that said it was tender and juicy. Portions were larger than expected. Overall I would consider going back because the prices are great and the service is fast but I really don't think it's substantially better than fried chicken fast food chains at a similar price point like KFC or Popeyes.
