If he had doubts, the obvious move was to ask for a comparison ID or check it against another Washington license in our group. He had one right there. Instead he embarrassed a guest over a "test" that has nothing to do with ID verification, something his own industry provides actual training and guides for. We left as a group of 8 and took our business elsewhere. Reading other reviews here, this doesn't seem like an isolated incident of arbitrary, inconsistent service. Skip it.

It took inordinately long for each segment of the meal to be attended to (even ordering), and some of the service - like the person who first brought our waters - seemed like the guy would have rather been anywhere else, because he dropped them and couldn't run away from the table fast enough. Kitchen is not in sync, as we received our entrees about 10 minutes apart. At one point before we had ordered our meal I suggested we just cut our losses and go. We ultimately stayed, but really felt that the bad service dampened the experience. It's loud inside, so I doubt we will come during the cooler weather.
