Sogno di Vino - Poulsbo, WA…read more We had an excellent meal at Sogno di Vino on their beautiful outdoor patio! The setting under the big tree with string lights was charming and made for a perfect sunny summer afternoon. We started with the bruschetta, which was fresh, bright, and nicely finished with a balsamic drizzle. For our main dishes, we ordered two versions of the Linguini alla Checca: one loaded with large, perfectly grilled shrimp and the other topped with seared ling cod. Both pastas were light, flavorful, and beautifully executed with sweet cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and generous shaved parmesan. The seafood was cooked just right and really stood out. We also shared a con carne pizza piled with Pepperoni, Fennel Sausage, Salami, Pancetta, Mozzarella, and Goat Cheese. YUM!!! It had a great crust with nice char and tasted fantastic. Everything arrived hot and clearly made with care. The service was friendly and attentive, and dining on the patio was a real highlight. If you're in Poulsbo and looking for solid Italian food in a relaxed outdoor setting, Sogno di Vino is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

Forgot our waitress' name but she had cute black cat earrings on. She and the man bussing the tables checked up on us and made sure all our orders were correct. But we had to ask the hostess for things because we couldn't find our waitress. It took awhile for our drinks and food to arrive. We waited almost half an hour before our food were brought out to us. In the mean time we were given yummy complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. The Salssicia pizza with sausages and mushrooms was a hit with our group. We also ordered the Caleb and Primavera pizzas.

We have been going to this place for years, but it had been some time since our last visit. We…read moredecided it was the perfect place to celebrate my wife's birthday, so invited my son and his girlfriend for dinner. While it has always been a great spot, they have managed to improve even since our last visit - great food, lovely ambiance, and outstanding service. We were a little worried about getting a table as you cannot make reservations for parties fewer than 5, but we were seated immediately and greeted warmly by the staff as we walked in. Dinner was reasonably priced, and each dish we had was wonderful. Our waitress was incredibly attentive without being hovering - an art form if you ask me - and even made sure to wish my wife a happy birthday. We left happy, well fed, and unanimously determined to get back there soon. Many thanks to the Bistro Team for a great evening.

The ragu had incredible depth of flavor with just the right amount of saltiness, and the ossobuco was beautifully cooked and super tender. * Burrata Caprese: Fresh, creamy, and made even better by a unique pistachio pesto. * Starters: A bit of a mixed bag. We had a couple of other starters that were really good, though the roasted potatoes with spicy tomato sauce/aioli and goat cheese stuffed dates were just okay. The Miss & Service Notes: * Seafood Paella: The biggest letdown of the night since it was the dish I was most excited for. Very bland and lacking depth--I actually ended up mixing leftover ragu sauce into it just to give it some flavor! * 30-Min Chicken Warning: A friend wanted the half chicken, but we had to pass because the server mentioned a 30-minute cook time after we asked. It would be super helpful if that wait time was explicitly noted on the menu! * Menu Wish: Was secretly hoping for an octopus/polpo dish given their tapas focus, but no luck this time. Verdict: Great prices and awesome value overall. Stick to the rich pastas, braised meats, and pick your starters carefully!

I am so delighted to write this review! Yesterday a holiday , my husband and I really wanted some…read morecomfort food. We checked out two places before going into The Brass Kraken. This is a Pub/Bar with a view! And or you can sit outside and see the local seal swimming in the marina the outside area has Umbrellas in case its too hot or bright. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the most genuine and knowledgeable young lady, immediately let us pick a seat, near the window in the . Gave us options and directions to best suit our thirst, and food questions were addressed to help us decide on which delicious entree to pick. The kitchen is modest they have great selections and variety and I am pretty sure whatever you choose you will leave happy! My husband had the catfish basket with two HUGE hush puppies ( a tiny bit spicy) we loved them! Crisp and cooked to perfection do not be fooled by the darker outside. Catfish was cooked perfectly and we wanted more! They have medium thick fries which we really enjoyed also. I chose the Cuban sandwich because I love it and I also was not disappointed. Very filling and delicious. I think their tartar sauce is homemade and if you like tartar you will want to try it. Drink specials were also offered at a price that you could have two and not break the bank . Happy vibe, great service, delicious food and a view whats Not to like?! 5 stars and well deserved. We will be back and soon.!!

They have monthly specials that highlight different themes, so be sure to ask about the current food and drink offerings. They offer 18 beers on draft and two ciders, along with Ghostfish Brewing Company gluten-free beer in cans. The menu includes oysters, elk burgers, nachos, wings, calamari, cheese curds, tacos, and more. On weekends, they serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The patio area is nice and features bar stools that wrap around the entire building (there are no tables, just a bar-style railing). It can get a little warm outside since there's limited shade, but the view is to die for. For my gluten-free friends, the Brass Kraken offers gluten-free buns, corn tortillas for tacos, and one fully gluten-free beer option. A great place to visit it you are in the Poulsbo area.

The drink menu was great and everything we had was good. The Ambience is dark and cozy, but it does have a nice outdoor patio area for seating as well. We had a party of 6 which automatically included a 20% gratuity charge. I know some restaurants are doing that. But I did not like was an extra 7% per check on top of that. I didn't like feeling obligated to tip 27%. Our service was good. We did go on a Friday night so we expected it to be busy. A few tapas took a little while to come out. Parking is street parking right off the restaurant. Or there is a parking lot walking distance. Overall the food was good. It's pricey but quality is there. We didn't care for the Cuban sandwich. It wasn't gross just wasn't anything special. I liked the paella. It had calamari, clams, mussels, shrimp, and chicken. All of the tapas are delicious. My husband is a big fan of their coffee. Everybody else in our party enjoyed their food. Is it worth the drive? For the food, yes but the extra taxes, no.
