Wonderfully curated space for those who enjoy a game, a brew, or both. Pinball machines (if that's your thing), great outdoor area. I asked for help with a game and recommendation for a beverage. Both were met with a genuine interest to help. Food is allowed from outside spaces, which is rare for this area. All around great experience! read more

I did some work near by and was in the mood for an adult beverage. I got a business call and while on the phone I saw their sign and I have a friend in another town who's bar has the same name.. So I went inside and looked around. I saw all the board games about a dozen pinball machines and I thought being a 20 year retired bar owner I might like to have a cold brew. I went up to the counter and handed the owner my card to create small talk before I ordered my cold draft, she walked backwards as I was telling her I have a friend with the same named bar she put my business card in the trash.. I was shocked to say the least.. I asked if she put it in the trash she said yes, I asked why and if she wasn't interested she could've handed it back.. As she went into the trash to hand it back she pointed said my shirt offended her. I looked at it and said really.? Are you that triggered over a shirt..? She said yes.. (On my left breast of my shirt it says Alligator Alcatraz..) As she walked away from me she waved at me and shood me away.. I've never been asked to leave a business before sober anyways.. Lol it was obvious she is only interested in customers with like minds and nothing else.. Obviously she's small minded & not interested in other people's money who think differently than her in her business.. Very sad, I could see myself having a drink or try some food once in a while here, not now... I like owner operator bars but not this one.. I actually give this place a -10 stars because of her being so triggered over a shirt and not wanting to know the person wearing the shirt.. Major missed opportunity... read more

I cannot recommend this place more. Been running DnD games here for years. Great atmosphere, lots of fun games, and really good people! The food here is mostly snack based but you can get like little pizzas and sandwiches. But Ashley doesn't mind if you order in some real food from surrounding places either! read more

Spent some time here while visiting the area and LOVED everything the very concept of the business to the vibe of all the customers. Really liked that you can browse games and just try them out while sipping on a nice beverage. Place is also dog friendly so I was able to pet a few friendly and well behaved dogs. read more

Fantastic gathering place, excellent beverage choices. Every kind of board game you can think. Excellent selection of pinball machines that get rotated fairly regular so there's always something new. 2 private game rooms (no fee to use) and a video game console nook. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. My game group has been meeting there for Old School and Old School-adjacent role playing games for going on 4 years and we ain't stopping anytime soon. I came here with friends when visiting, and it was so much fun! They have so many games for all types of moods and group sizes. We enjoyed all the broad selection of draft and can/bottle beers and ciders as well. I appreciated they had all local PNW beers and ciders on tap. Ashley's is a great spot with an insane amount of games you can just take off the wall they have them on. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is fun. They also have some pinball machines and a room/nook with classic game systems you can play. You can bring some outside food or order it there and they do have some snacks but I hope one day they are able to do their own food options. Great place and I highly recommend!!! read more

So yesterday (10/27/2023) I was so excited to go here. Ashley's is a great place and cool place to hang out. My wife went to the bathroom (which are not designated by male/female, but by 2 toilets in one and 2 toilets and 1 urinal on the other one.) when she walked in into the 2 toilet one 2 male customers where in there peeing with stalls open and pretty much exposing themself. I went with her the next few times. So it was uncomfortable but that's where that ended. When she went the last time a "regular" customer called her a whore... which she felt super uncomfortable, upset and disrespected. I confronted the guy (he was with 2 friends) and we had a little argument. What gets me is that we (victim) were both asked to leave and the regulars (assailant) get to stay. Really?! So we did, I paid and left and they got to stay. By the way we were the only 2 minorities in there, me Puerto Rican and my wife Black Dominican. I've know Ashley since before she opened up this place, she is amazing! But what happened yesterday with her staff and customers was unexpected and unacceptable. I will not return to this place. I'm still amazed how I got asked to leave and they stayed even when they were the problematic ones. Sorry Ashley I will never return. read more

If you like pinball, board games or beer than you will probably like this place. There really isn't much to say about Ashley's Pub other than more people should check it out. I think the location is wrong is in the basement but at the same time I like the basement feel of the place. The Pub has a good selection of pinball tables and a lot of games to pick. read more

Been coming here, off and on, for years (threw both locations)! Amazing staff, awesome choice of libations, and the games, oh the games! Their wall of choices is envious! From nostalgic, to solitary, to group foray's, it will not disappoint!!! We played 'Guess Who?' Which I grew up with, but there was a solitary sudoku which I'm eyeballing for my next ferry wait out, and Wingspan for my next group meet up to bring me back. El balcon is right around the corner, and they are cool with outside food! Will def be back and remember to tip your bartender!!!! read more

The owner was very friendly and had great beer recommendations. The bar and tables were clean and the board game selection was massive! My friends and I ordered door dash food and had a great time! Ashley is very kind, entertaining and her spot is so much fun! Ashley is super supportive of the LGBTQ and immigrant community. She extended the offer for us to continue hosting the LGBTQ tea dance for a great cause monthly. The beer is great! There is a whole wall space full of games, there is a cool hang out spot outside and it has heat lamps for the winter. There is a gaming center inside and comfortable chairs and tables. It smells good and it is one of the cleanest bars I've been to in Bremerton. One of my fave local joints!!! read more

Came here for a fundraiser night and had a great time. This place has a really good assortment of board games that are both family friendly and not kid friendly. They have a good assortment of drinks, but we really enjoy the fact that we can buy a bottle of wine and sit back and play with our friends. This is a place where you can easily spend a few hours to hang out. Probably one of the best things about this place is the ability to bring in your own food. It doesn't Matter if you make it at home or buy it, you can bring it. Our favorite thing to do is either bring in some tacos from El Balcon down the street or just bring in a pizza. This is truly one of Bremerton's hidden gems. read more

Bremerton doesn't have a ton of entertainment options, but put Ashley's Pub in any city, and it would still be one of my favorite spots in town. They have tons of great games, pinball machines, video games, cheap local beers, no cover charge, and the friendliest people in town!! I went for the first time for their pajama party on Sunday, and I was so encouraged by how genuinely sweet everyone was. I can't wait to visit Ashley's all winter long!! read more

This was my first (accidental) stop after arriving in the area. I wasn't sure what to expect as I walked in. It was early (6ish) but the owner and the patrons were the most amazing welcoming people I have ever met. In the few hours I spent there it never felt like a bar, instead it felt like a place where everyone is a friend and want you to feel at home. I would recommend this place to any adult who still feels like their inner child is still alive and well can come and feel like a part of a family. 5 stars isn't enough imho and I will be a regular. So I stumbled across this crazy place called Ashley is pub. Not only was it non-judgemental, it was so very comforting. The atmosphere is full of very intelectually balanced family. A great new addition to downtown Bremerton. While Blue Sky Hobbies across the street caters well to serious tabletop gamers, there's definitely a niche here Ashley has capitalized on very well - a dedicated taphouse in downtown Bremerton with a great selection of (free to play) board games, nintendo 64, and a small arcade collection. Ashely is very friendly and I expect this to be one of my favorite places to grab a drink or get together with friends from now on. read more
