As one could gather from my profile, I am not one to leave reviews. However, the caring and competent staff at Two Trees Optometry deserve additional praise on top of their already countless accolades. Heather and Dr. Skromme went above and beyond to ensure that I could provide a future employer with documentation on short notice. I highly recommend Two Trees for your vision care. Thanks again! read more

Still a 5 star place! 3 years later and the customer service is still top notch and Dr. Skromme is kind and considerate. The selection of glasses available is perfect. Plenty of options but not so many you feel overwhelmed. I've sent some co-workers and family members to Two Trees. I'll continue going for years to come! read more

By far the best. My visit was very easy. The office was extremely clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Skromme was very clear and explained everything to me! read more

I had an appointment with Two Trees Optometry yesterday for new glasses and I just couldn't be more impressed with the level of service and incredible selection of frames! Dr. Skromme is a very skilled and thorough Optometrist and has a great staff. As I walked into the waiting room of the office I was greeted by a very professional individual who helped me with the sign-in process as a new client. After a very short wait, I was greeted by the woman that helped me select new frames with my new prescription lenses. She must have shown me two dozen frames and was very competent in how she placed the ones I liked the best in a separate area which helped me to zero in on the ones I would ultimately choose. I'm pretty far-sighted and it was hard for me to see how the glasses looked on me, so she placed a different large mirror directly in front of me that was magnified! I've never had anyone take care of my vision needs so completely! All-in-all, if there was something higher than five stars, Two Trees Optometry would get my vote! Thank you Dr. Skromme! read more

My contacts prescription from Two Trees expired last week and I tried to get more contacts and they would not allow me to get more contacts (more than a few days worth) under the prescription. They said it is their policy. My policy is to not work with people that are trying to extract more money from me, so I will go elsewhere. read more

Great first appointment for my son as well as an appointment for my daughter to get her first contacts. Scheduling, check-in and Dr visit all exceeded my expectations. read more

I am a new patient to Two Trees Optometry. It is the best place in town! The front desk is exceptionally friendly and explains everything. I have a pretty high prescription and have worn contacts for years. The doctor was able to fit me into great lenses, used my insurance to pay for a year supply, and even shipped the contacts for free! I couldn't be happier to have found such a great office in town read more

We found Two Trees on yelp when we moved to the area and are very happy we did! I had pleasant experience for the exam and my new contacts prescription is perfect. I met my husband there today to help him pick out glasses and the gal working with us was so great and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this office to a friend, we'll be back! read more

This place is the best. Friendly, fair, and professional. You can't go wrong.

I've been a client of Dr. Skromme for several years now. He is professional, courteous and super easy to work with. I am happy to have found a long term optometrist. The staff is always very helpful and friendly as well. They also have a great selection of frames and sunglasses, I was able to find two pairs today with the help of one of the staff members. It is always a pleasant visit whether it is for an exam or just to pick up a refill on my contacts. read more

I have been going to Dr. Pazen's since childhood. They have had a few Drs through the years who have cared for me. The newest guy is great. Takes the time with his patients and seems to truly care for people. Coming from a customer service background allows me to appreciate the friendliness of this office and their staff. I can see Dr. Stromme/Skromme(?) taking care of my kids for life. read more

Formerly Pazen Optometry. Dr. Pazen passed the torch to Dr. Skromme, and couldn't have picked a better choice. The whole staff is as good as it gets! Been going to this office for years, and the service and friendliness is unparalleled. Everyone in a great mood, have a sense of humor, willing to talk to you on a personal as well as professional level. Wide selection on frames to choose from, yet don't try to sell you the more expensive ones, or upsell you on items. Class act through and through. Couldn't recommend them enough. read more

My experience with Two Trees Optometry was awesome. The staff was extremely nice. I am the type of person that shows up early to my appointments and I was seen right away. My eyes are still good and the doctor didn't try to sell me glasses I didn't need. I highly recommend Dr. Skromme at Two Trees Optometry In Ventura. read more

I cannot attest to Dr. Skromme Optometry expertise because I was blessed with 20/20 vision, but I can say that as a human being Kris is a stand up guy. He's someone you can always count on and I'm happy to call him a good friend. Plus he's really good at kickball. read more

I have been visiting the optometrist for many years and by far two trees is the best. Dr. Skromme is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He was able to fit me with a great pair of glasses and I am extremely satisfied. He is definitely my EYE GUY for now on!!! read more

My appointment was on time. I like that they have you choose the "extras" (like retina pics/tonometry) on paper so you don't feel like they're trying to sell you something. Everybody was super friendly and professional. Dr. Skromme was great, he even showed me a picture they took of a dog's retina since I work in veterinary medicine. Little things like that make you feel like a person! He was quick, but in an efficient way. Choosing my glasses went smoothly. Everything was explained adequately to me and I left feeling confident about my prescription. I also appreciate that they schedule an appointment to pick up your glasses. Great experience. Will go again and will recommend to anyone looking for an optometrist! read more

Great experience with them, the office staff is friendly. The doctor takes his time and explains everything. It doesn't feel rushed like he just wants to get to the next patient. The appointment was on time and I didn't have to wait. When I came back to pick up my trial contacts he was able to get my in for a few minutes to check to make sure they fit correctly. read more

The staff here are so sweet... I brought my 10 year-old son in and the girl who did all the pre-exam was so sweet and friendly with him. She interacted with him so well and made him feel very comfortable. Dr. Skromme was very attentive to my son and made his exam easy and even sent us a cool pic of his eyes which my son was excited to show off :) My son ended up getting a pair of glasses and it was so quick and easy because this office has an awesome selection of brands. Very pleased with the service here and I even made myself an appt before we walked out the door. Patients here for life! read more

I just left my appointment with Dr Skromme and couldn't have been more impressed with my experience! I had been putting off getting my eyes look at for awhile because of a bad experience I had at a different place and wish I would have found Two Tree Optometry sooner! From the moment I walked in the staff were very welcoming and friendly! Even the lady doing the exams was so kind and joyful! Dr Skromme took his time and answered all of my questions and went above and beyond making me feel comfortable with my vision results. After the exam the lady that helped me pick out my frames was amazing! She was very helpful and made the experience fun and I can't wait to get my new glasses (I can't believe I just said that :))! Dr. Skromme's staff is professional and friendly getting me an appointment the following week. In optometry time that is blazing fast! I love this office because everyone is always so nice. I recently had my husband come with me for the first time and he enjoyed the experience as well. I really appreciate them working on New Year's eve since I normally work Monday through Friday and don't get into town until about 6pm and I happen to be off every year on New Year's Eve. This year most of the office was sick and they still came into work. They were still really nice even though I bet they felt horrible, and as a customer I truly appreciate them. read more
