The care our cat received was completely inadequate, and grossly negligent, however. Provided directions were not followed. The pet sitter failed to give any of the fresh food that had been prepared specifically for our cat, and did not prepare other food according to the provided instructions. The pet sitter also failed to give our cat any water, at all, the entire time we were gone. What little water remained in the bowls when we returned home had turned a gross yellow/green color. How a professional cat sitter could fail to follow written instructions, and neglect to provide water to an animal for such a long time is beyond me. Our cat was extremely dehydrated and unwell when we returned home, due to the negligent care. As a parting gift, a mess of discarded cat food was also left around the trash bin. The trash bin was permanently stained from cat food that had been discarded without a trash bag. Our cat was dehydrated, unwell, and lucky to be alive after not receiving any water or adequate nutrition while we were away. This professional cat sitter could not follow the essential written or verbal instructions for taking care of our cat. I cannot recommend this business.

During this time, she has proven to be reliable, caring, able to follow instructions and I never worry for a second when I leave my animals in her care. She even went out of her way to buy dog socks for my senior dog who was having mobility issues. She has done over 40 pet sits for my company, and probably as many for me personally. She always goes above and beyond for her clients and my dogs. The negative review on this site must be meant for somebody else. None of these things are true about LLC Pet Sitting.

Zak comes over during the day, picks up my dog for a couple of hours of "play time," and has been super-accommodating about special requests or an occasional "REALLY late day." My dog loves him- she bounces when she sees him. The billing is twice monthly, and you can pay online as well as directly by check. Zak is very approachable-- I appreciate I can contact him by text. Instead they're in open rooms in the temp regulated and smoke filtered barn, sleeping on cots, always with an handler present over night. On NYE and 4th of July they play movies in the evening to drown out the fireworks for the pups. On Thanksgiving, they make them turkey and fixings. These are people who love dogs. I have peace of mind when he's there that he's with animal lovers who are trained to manage dogs at a business owned by someone who actually tries to my observations to meet or exceed the few requirements dog boarding facilities are supposed to. I drive 30 (home) to 90 minutes (work) each way because of this peace of mind.The last thing I'll add is I appreciate their communication. My dog gets attached easily to handlers and will resource guard them if he gets a little too much direct affection. They've kept me aware of when this starts to happen and what they're doing to mitigate it on their end. This facility is probably the best for a medium to high energy dog so one day Harry will outgrow it or maybe he'll get kicked out if he can't stop falling in love with the handlers, but right now I'm so grateful that Unleashed exists and for the wonderful people who work there.
