I always love a good bakery! So fun to see such a variety of fresh baked goodies on the side of the road on the way to Two Step. Pick what you want, pay with cash or Venmo, super yum.

Off the side of the highway LITERALLY! Delicious! Plenty of GF options which was a surprise! Worth the trip! They take cash and Venmo which is a plus! Make sure you have a big appetite or a cooler they've got stuff that has to be kept cold once you get your hot little hands on it! Will likely make another trip before heading back to the mainland!

Many baked goods. $5 each - support this local baker!

This is a must stop honor system stand with fresh baked goods just outside two step. So grab a nibble before or after snorkeling. Most items are $5, and we tried 10 of them :) The butter mochi are exactly what they should be, cakes fluffy, but the haupia (coconut) pie is literally the best of its kind I have ever had. It was consumed way too quickly for a pic so all you get is the cute label. I may go back tomorrow and buy 4 more. Don't expect to be able to share this! The only thing I didn't love were the Lilikoi cookies - just not the right cookie texture for me; more like a muffin.

My son and I stopped here today and got some awesome breads! There are some day-old items for only $2! Very yummy and glad to support local. Mahalo!

Only in Hawaii. Love this honor system. I am Excited to try this pineapple cake. And mahalo for the sticker

Wow! We went on a Saturday morning ie 8 am and some of the flavored donuts were already sold out…read more The service was awesome. It is behind the 76 gas station food court area. There is parking and there are plenty of tables to sit & enjoy. There are signs indicating where the food court area is located. It is nice and ample to eat your Malasada or donut. Prices are from $5 to $6 each. We had the Ube 10/10 and Creme Brulee 10/10. I will definitely return.

I stopped by here earlier today with my father for a morning treat. We found Paradise Bakery Hawaii…read moreon Yelp while I was looking for a bakery near Kailua-Kona. This spot is located in a food court area and was actually the only place open when we arrived. Since it is a stall, there is not too much to say other than there were two people working and a large display case filled with donuts, with malasadas in the back. After looking things over I asked if they had a lilikoi circle donut. They did not, but they recommended a strawberry glazed donut with lilikoi filling and I went with that. It came out nicely decorated with a pink glaze and a small dab of cream on top with a butterfly. When I bit into it I was happy with the flavor. The donut itself was light and fluffy and the strawberry glaze was solid. The real standout though was the lilikoi filling, which had that great balance of sharpness and sweetness and paired really well with the donut. My dad ordered a coconut malasada and said it was really good as well. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. They had a big selection of donuts, I enjoyed mine, and I would like to try their malasadas next time.

You can either drop some cash into the little metal box on the table or use the Venmo code under the lid. We picked up 3 loaves, some apple bananas, and avocados on our first day. Then, we went back near the end of our trip to get a few more! They were sold out, but there's a number to call and the baker's husband brought out a few piping hot loaves of bread. Wow!!! It's even more amazing when it's hot. I do a lot of baking and I make a lot of banana muffins, and even I'm impressed with Jeanette's skill. The bread is perfectly caramelized on the outside, the sprinkle of crushed mac nuts and sugar on top, with the moist interior is just perfect. Our kids were fighting daily at breakfast for the "end pieces", lol! We'll definitely be back someday! Mahalo!

The loaves are topped with a sweet topping containing macnuts that make it unique and better than the rest. It's moist and flavorful, definitely one of the best banana breads I've had while visiting the Hawaiian islands. It's also super affordable at $4 per loaf. You pay via honor system through Venmo. When we arrived around 6:15pm, there were no more loaves in the cooler but there were a few phone numbers with a note posted on the cooler that said to please call if there were no more loaves so they can bring some up :) The owners are super kind and happily brought up some more loaves so we can purchase some. I think they said they filled the cooler with 52 loaves before they left for the day! I don't have a picture of the loaves because we ate them so quickly but just trust me when I say this is a must stop and you won't regret it!
