I had a friend coming to visit Sonoma County from the East Bay and she had done some research to…read morefind a PYO flower place. She found First Light Farm and recommended that we try it out. We pulled in through the gates and saw a small field of flowers to the left, along with a shed-like structure and a house in the back. The right side was pretty empty; I'm guessing whatever was growing there had already been harvested. We stood around for a few mins pretty confused about how it all worked. We found a sign saying that CSA members get to cut for free and a pricing chart for non-members. There were clippers and a knife sitting next to a stack of boxes, so we grabbed one of each and headed for the garden. The selection wasn't quite what we expected, but we still got a great bunch of flowers and sunflowers. Some were a little difficult to access from the walkways, so we just tried to be as careful as possible. When we were done, we tried to pay, but there wasn't really a designated place to leave money, so we just stuck it under a box inside the shed area (I hope they got it!). Very cute place! A little confusing for first-timers, but overall a nice experience.

Live music is playing, children are having fun at the water fountain, and the people are just chilling. The stalls and local shops are of great variety! There are some jewelry, crafts, Some cute keychains that my daughter was drawn into, pastry stalls, fruits and veggies and more! The staff did great at bringing in good selection of food trucks and vendors! We bought plums, pork buns from Yali, and pastries! So much fun! Cant wait to come back on Friday!
