The most cost effective movers for an interstate move. We hired guys at each end to pack and unpack…read morethe van. The communication and support provided by both the Macon, GA and Delray Beach, FL was EXCELLENT! I regularly called for either help making a payment, or determine when to pickup/drop off, etc. We had a difficult situation with our house purchase falling through during the pandemic, and the support staff helped us figure out storage until we could by a different house. Super patient. Even getting an invoice I needed for reimbursement before a certain date, they took initiative and were proactive. Customer service was excellent compared to most business nowadays. They showed up when they said they would and picked up truck when they said. Drivers were extremely polite and both requested either a pickup or drop off of the ramp when we used the entire truck. They took the time to educate me on why a parking location was better than another. My only slightly negative statement is that they underestimated the amount of space we would use in the truck, during our initial call. I knew that would be the case since we had 25 yrs worth of stuff. Even with professional loaders, we used the entire 26' of space, and had to leave a little behind. I had preshopped PODS, United & Allied- all looking for a self pack type move. ABF/Upack was cheapest & best overall (their storage costs are a little more expensive than PODS). I have used them for 2 interstate moves: 2005, 2020. Well done & thank you!!!

We were recently burned by another so called moving company and was really leery when we contacted…read moreU-Pack. But the only thing that we can honestly say is that we are sorry we did not contact them first. Their service was superb, from our first conversation with them until the pick up of the truck after we had unpacked it. They were outstanding with timeliness, customer service, pick up and delivery. And let's talk about cost savings and efficiency. Anything that we would say would be an understatement.

Great service and great price! This is the only moving company to use in Middle Georgia.read more

I'm not a firm believer of writing negative reviews. I personally feel that the best manner to…read morehandle poor service is to not support the business. However, since Dan essentially "threatened" me, I felt that this review was very deserving. I will never use or recommend Allstar Moving & Delivery due to Dan's behavior. And if Dan is a professional, he will redirect his energy for developing "a plan of suing me for slander" into potentially rectifying this situation with myself and other potential customers who may come across this review. I used Allstar Moving & Delivery for my move from Macon, Georgia to Hampton, Georgia in December 2012 and was pleased with the service and pricing. This led me to send an inquiry with Dan Couley (owner) on October 15, 2015 for an upcoming move in Hampton, Georgia on October 31, 2015. I called Dan with details on October 15, 2015 and followed up with an email. Dan verbally guaranteed that he would be able to perform the move for me in Hampton, Georgia and that "I had his word because he was a God-fearing man" (his words not mine). I never received a response to my email, and gave Dan a call the following day, October 16, 2015. Dan said that he received my email and that he was in the middle of a move, but I had no worries and he would still be able to handle my upcoming move. On October 21, 2015, I finally received an email from Dan stating "thanks for your inquiry, I'm sorry we are completely booked." I was a little dismayed because this contradicted what he verbally stated previously. I immediately called him to see if he confused my moving request for another. Dan told me again that he was completely booked and that he did not appreciate the fact that I told him that "I did not believe my move should take over 4 hours (including travel time)" in the original email that I sent to him on October 15, 2015. Dan felt that this was an example of me telling him how to do his job and he was not going to accept that. As I mentioned to Dan, my "4 hour time frame" was a personal estimate. If my time estimate was unrealistic, then Dan (as the moving professional), should have advise me (as the customer) otherwise. Dan went on to mention that there were closer movers in McDonough, Stockbridge, and Jonesboro (Georgia) and that I should contact them. Dan is correct with that statement, however I chose to contact him initially for my move because I used him previously and was familiar with his professionalism (or at least I thought). Furthermore, if Dan felt that my move was "out of his area" then he should of told me that when I initially reached out to him on October 15, 2015. (If Dan would have suggested to contact a moving company that was closer, in the beginning, I would have had no problems and would of still considered Dan for any future moves that I may have had.) During this phone call, I advised Dan that I would be going onto Yelp and Google and reviewing him based on his lack of professionalism (Dan called this a "threat"). Dan then advised that if I give him any negative reviews, that he would contact his lawyers and sue me for slander. I immediately hung up the phone and was bombarded with text messages from Dan stating: "Your immaturity is evident and we would never do business with an individual like yourself." "Your threats of slander will be met with a lawsuit." "I have your number and email address so my lawyers will find you and you will pay." "Since you know how long it will take to unload your truck and do what is necessary, do it yourself. You seem to know it all. Good luck!" Dan also sent me emails essentially expressing these same sentiments. While Dan never provided me with a written confirmation of acceptance to my moving request (I emailed him twice prior trying to get this to no avail), his lack of professionalism is clearly evident by the rude treatment and harsh comments he spoke, texted, and emailed to me. Moreover, Dan's threat of suing me (a former customer) is ridiculous and intimidating.
