Had one of those days of chaos and had a condo cleaned for a real estate client moving in early tomorrow. The Regional director reached out to ask if I had a fine experience, I asked if I could get a few finished pics as this company offers a free walk through before leaving at any clean. I had declined that walk with five kids at home. Kathryn Ellis didnt feel like the pictures/or my booking matched up and went herself to clean after. They were responsive to my request, got me scheduled for my first recurring premium cleaning right away and it was so easy to communicate with them. We can't review their actual cleaning services because their office messed up scheduling. We booked a specific time (10am) for a cleaning to take place after our holiday travels. Upon returning they tried to have us confirm a different time (8am) via text, unfortunately we had a schedule conflict for their new time frame (DCS coming to visit our foster children). We refused the new time, and now they are charging us half of the cleaning fee stating we cancelled. We have now officially cancelled and will use a different company for our biweekly deep cleans. We will also be forced to perform a chargeback. Bit of advice for the company. Don't try and make your clients pay for your mistakes. read more

Take my review with a grain of salt because I never ended up using their services. But I do believe in first impressions and theirs was very "meh". I called and spoke to someone at Two Maids after seeing their ad on Yelp. I said we had been using another company that we were not happy with and would like someone to come out and take a look at what we wanted and it would be a twice a month service. She said "the company" wouldn't allow her to do that. Huh? I said we had a very large house but didn't require a lot to be cleaned and she responded that it didn't matter as "the company" wouldn't allow them to base an estimate on what we wanted done, but square footage alone. She then said she had to put me on hold because "a team just walked in". Seriously, you put a potential client on hold to speak to your employees? I have been managing sales people for many years in my business and if a sales rep put a potential sales client on hold because one of their workers walked in that they wanted to speak to, they would be terminated. I was on hold for about 2 minutes or so, so I just gave up, hung up and contacted another company that accommodated our needs. Definitely not feeling warm and fuzzy and that they wanted our business much. I will give the company credit though for answering the call instead of what I expected which is voice mail, as most companies don't answer calls. I am going to give this company a 3 on Yelp and also an incomplete because again we never used them. But when I call a new company and put out there that I am interested in being a twice a month client, I want to be wowed and accommodated a bit better and not put on hold because you want to speak to "your team" and quote "company policy" everywhere. If you treat a potential new client like this, it would scare me to how you would treat them down the road when they were using your services. Hope this review helps. I have been using this residential house cleaning agency for several months now and was always happy until today. My only complaints before today were that they are very expensive but I believe you "get what you pay for". My other complaint was you get a different team of workers each week/month to clean so you have to explain everything about your house to each new team. I booked and confirmed my monthly cleaning appointment on 11-2-2023 with an actual house cleaning today 11-9-2023 (with an arrival window between 10-12 noon). This company requires clients to reschedule appointments 48 hours in advance or you will be charged for services. At 6:42 am this morning they changed the arrival window to 8-9 am. So I guess, they need 48 hours to reschedule but the client only gets an hour or so. I was given multiple reasons for this change including staff sickness, client sickness and staff on vacation (who knows what the reason actually was??). By the staffs own admission, they sent 3 workers who were not used to cleaning large homes to my house today. Usually it takes 2 two team members about 2 hours to clean our home. At 2 hours, the staff today had completed less than half the house. In addition, they were using a machine vacuum on my hardwood floors which I had asked them specifically not to do and in my overall company profile had asked the company not to use (their large vacuums scratch my expensive hardwood floors). I provide the cleaning team with a soft cleaning tool to use on the hardwood floors in addition to the "Bono" solution specifically for cleaning hardwood floors. I also specifically asked them why they were using the vacuum today and not the materials provided and was really given no reason. At some point, a supervisor arrived and the Two Maids team let her into my house without my knowledge. Suddenly, I realized someone was in my house that I did not know and who I had not given permission to enter the home. The supervisor was very poor at handling the overall situation and noted she was there to help the team. She accused me of yelling at her but I only raised my voice as she would not even let me get a word in about my complaints and the lack of work being done by the workers. The other weird thing was the team did not believe they had to vacuum any of my area rugs. I have never said anything about not vacuuming area rugs in my home and this has never been a problem in the past. Also, very little dusting was done in any areas other than by the supervisor. The 2 workers only seemed to start working when the supervisor arrived except for the one worker that was "hearing impaired" who worked very, very hard and steady throughout this whole mess (kudos to her). The other two workers spent most of their time hiding out in my master bathroom. You simply don't need this type "drama" in your home when you are simply trying to get your house cleaned. read more

Don't waste $400+ on a level of clean no better than your teenager would accomplish. They also kept trying to leave w/o cleaning all rooms. The manager did a post cleaning inspection & agreed it was not satisfactory. We weren't allowed any type of refund but instead sent the same cleaners to correct the neglect which made no sense since they weren't capable of cleaning it properly the 1st time. I've gone through housekeepers for a few years so I know no company's perfect, I think this company is good however consistency is a big factor. We had 1 issue when we started our bi-weekly service and whoever was the manager at the time fixed it right away and gave us a great team I believe it was Ashley and Billy. They would leave notes on a two maids card of what they did and to let us know they came, and even the team before text me to let me know what they did and what would be getting deep cleaned this week and etc. But I know one manager left and it seems to have been a little inconsistent since. I'm sure turnovers high but having two people you expect a decent quality clean because I have 1 person that comes to my place in San Diego and she's consistently very thorough for the same price. For the last two cleanings the floors have been bad to the point that I'm not even sure if they were mopped and the vacuum job was pretty mediocre too which to me is the basics of the job. There were other issues that I could over look but for 2 weeks the floors still being sticky and having stains is a red flag. I feel like if you're not checking or reminding them to do the deep cleaning items like high dusting etc it's not getting done, and traveling between states for work I just don't really have time to thoroughly inspect a cleaning job every time. Also I think it's weird that they don't change your shower curtains, I gave them the new ones and they said they couldn't but every company I've had has done it, odd? But maybe I'll try two maids again in a few months but for now we're going to try an independent company to see if that's a little better. read more
