They cleaned for me one time, with the goal being every two weeks…read more My home has been cleaned every two weeks for 10 years so it is in great condition. My housekeeper had fallen ill and so it had been a month since my house was cleaned. When I originally spoke to them, I said my biggest concern was to make sure they got all the dust, underneath the furniture, which sits on hardwood floors, so no need to move furniture. After they left, I noticed they only took a swipe at the front of the furniture and left dust behind. Didn't dust anything sitting out on furniture (vase, knickknacks, etc). Definitely not the thorough cleaning that I had paid for. When I reported this, she said sorry it didn't work out. Did not offer to come back and make it right.

They recommended a deep clean and gosh they got it done! What I will say - this is not a "cheap" service. My 2,500sqft+ home took 5hrs and cost about $550, and a maintenance clean would be $300+. Please know you get what you pay for - this is by far the best cleaning service I've ever used and I'm more than happy to pay them for such premium service! Thanks again team - you're the best! I didn't realize this is a matching service when I contacted them. I think their business model is…read moreto hire customer service reps from abroad then match you with local small businesses. This is a problem, because: 1. Each time I emailed, a different person answered. Probably 20 emails over 1 week were arranged before I could get a quote and schedule cleaning. Because emails would usually arrive late at night or around 2-4AM, I guessed the emailers were located outside of the US. 2. Phone calls are not effective. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work.

However, towards the end…read morewhen the owner didn't accompany her husband and the other employees they weren't as thorough with cleanings (spilled cat food and didn't clean it up, didn't vacuum cat hair on the stairs). We overlooked it as the owner would still come with them about every other time and things went well when she was there and the rate was good. However, the last time they were there they left the house and completely left our back door completely wide open and our cat got out. This was a huge oversight, and when I reached out to the owner about it she responded by saying that her husband said we would just leave our back door like that, so it was on us. Unfortunately, we couldn't move forward with using them regardless of how thorough she had been because when her husband was here he wasn't thorough and lost our cat (luckily we found her later that night), and he also didn't even respect us enough to own up to something he did or apologize, so we didn't feel comfortable having him in our home again.
