I have used the resort in the past with other dogs and the care they received was very good.This visit the dogs shared a large suite with a private doggy door that allowed them to come in/go out at will. They played long and hard with each other, and also played with the other pups. I understand they had toys everywhere in their room and personal play yard to stay active. I have always appreciated that the facility is very clean and organized.They had nails and baths before being picked up this morning. Special kudos as this visit covered New Years Eve, and the staff reached out to me that morning to ask if there would be any concern about fireworks and if my pups would get nervous/would need calming medication. My dogs don't react to fireworks, so nothing was needed, but I was impressed that the staff reached out to check. Concern for my pets' welfare was genuine, and they were very responsive to my emails while traveling to update me on progress. This was the first "resort" stary for my newest rescue pup and I was concerned how he might react. No need to fear. Both pups give it 4 paws up as a great place to stay when their mom has to go out of town. Very grateful to Pet Paradise for playing and caring for my pups.

Since there is no way to respond to today's comment by the owner, I'll try this. One dog (Buddy, a…read moreminiature poodle) had had issues with his eyes, well treated and not problematic. The other dog (Hadley, a Yorkie) had NO issues with his eyes. After the assault by your groomer, one of Buddy's eyes was collapsed, vet said due to trauma. Hadley soon exhibited trauma also (with a week or so, I didn't check him, as I didn't suspect anything), and his eye had to be removed, at a cost of almost $1,000. What you are doing is called "blaming the victim." We now clip them at home. Not an issue for Buddy any more, since he died. Thank you so much. LET THIS BE A LESSON FOR ANY READING THIS: JUST BECAUSE THEY CALL THEMSELVES THE BEST ANYTHING SAYS *NOTHING* ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE WORK. Note there is no sympathy for my poor dogs, injured by the "groomer." It is not rocket science to avoid eyes with clippers. 2/3 of my dogs that she "groomed" wound up with serious eye injuries that could not be fixed.

The manager stated my cat was "locked up" the entire stay and said she was sorry. Tailwaggers falsely advertised that they have highly trained staffed, a "dietician" on staff and that a topical medication to my cat's ear would be applied. My cat suffered horribly. Every single time I tried to schedule a groom or boarding, there were issues. What should have been a simple process turned into a drawn-out, frustrating experience with poor communication and no clear answers. To make things worse, after multiple attempts to get something scheduled, they claimed they "didn't like my tone" and refused to allow me to make a reservation at all. I've never experienced anything like that. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or help a customer, they chose to shut the door completely. Customer service is where they completely fall apart. Responses are slow, often rude or dismissive, and there's zero sense of urgency or accountability. It genuinely feels like they don't value their customers. At this point, it's hard to tell if they even care about having customers at all, let alone new ones. Do yourself a favor and avoid 2nd Family Dog at all costs. There are plenty of other businesses out there that will treat you with respect and actually make the process easy.
