While their service was very friendly over the phone, the fact that they told me that they could not touch my bike because it was older than the year 2000 or some shit was ridiculous. They wanted me to remove the wheels myself, bring the tires in, and then charge me 200 dollars to change them. So yeah, if you have an old bike especially, Jim is the one to go to. I took my bike in to have it looked at and he did an oil change, fixed some electrical issues with the lights, and changed the dollars all for around the same $200 the other place quoted me. He also took the time to show me the work he did and was very patient answering all my stupid questions. My bike was now in great shape and I felt good knowing I had somewhere to bring it if it needed anything. A couple of months later, I was having issues with the headlight not turning on my 1987 Yamaha Fazer 700. I had messed with the battery and fuses and whatever things I could think of with my limited knowledge, so I decided to stop at Jim's just to see what he thought and if he'd be free to look at it. He ended up taking the time to give me all sorts of suggestions to try to solve the issue myself which I thought was so honest and sweet. He even showed me some of the tools I may need in order to perform the diagnostics and how to use them. In the end, the solution ended up being a simple fix: there's a sensor designed to keep the headlight turned off while the starter turns the engine over. The light would remain off even after the engine was running because Only Jim would've thought to suggest checking something like that due to his immense knowledge and expertise. I'm positive anyone else would've just told me to bring the bike in, solved the minute issue, then charged me out the ass for it. Thanks, Jim!

But if you want the fairest price possible, along with some good old fashioned veteran humor, then Jim is your guy. I remember the first time I took my bike to him, he charged me 300 for a service that other shops had quoted me 600 for, and he told me if i don't like the price I can go back to driving a honda civic. The price was more than fair, and Jim even taught me many things about motorcycle maintenance, throughout the years that I would bring my bike to him.
