    Always a pleasure doing business with Ted & his crew. This time, I added a Tractive rear shock to my BMW R1200RT and it's wonderful. Super easy install and she rides much smoother with better control than the OE shock. Thanks to Ted's precision setup for my weight, riding style, baggage weight, passenger weight etc., I now have a perfectly balanced Beemer on the highway and the mountain curves. Thank you for the top-notch service and products!

    Ted is the BEST in the Biz! He doesn't just "bolt shocks on". He sets up each shock/bike to riders weight, riding style, etc.

    I just had one of the best customer experiences of my Moto life at the Beemer Shop with Ted and his staff. I was in Baja on my r1200GS when I began to nice a leak in the rear shock... I already knew the stock shocks were not ideal for the riding I was doing but it's all I had... Knowing I was going to be passing through Scotts Valley I contacted the shop to see about a new shock setup for my bike. Ted and the staff were very fast to respond, offered some great suggestions and after going back and forth through email set an appointment. I arrived at 9am sharp and was met by Jeff (service mgr) and had a great chat. Ted suggested I get the new Touratech shocks given the kind of riding I was doing... They had them shipped direct from Holland (this is the only US Shop who has a direct factory relationship) and and the assembly began... Ted was kind enough to let me snap some photos and take some video while he did the install as well but I stayed out of his way... Rear shock installed and golden. Front shock... Rut roh. Turns out it had the wrong stud in the end and was too long for the bike... And here's where Ted and the shop really get 5 stars. It's afternoon in the US and he contacts Holland (so it's like midnight there) and they actually responded right away. Stuff happens in life but how we respond to the "stuff" is what we are really made of. Both Ted and the guys in Holland made it right... DHL express of the correct stud from Holland, Ted gives me the loaner bike, and all is well. None of us wanted it this way but really appreciated Ted and how he handled the situation. Life. Happens. How we respond is what matters. (He offered me lots of options) The reason I wanted my shocks done here is because they are SHOCK SPECIALISTS and don't just "open box and bolt on" In fact, once Ted opened the box he noticed a way that he could get me more pre-load adjustment on the shocks and took the time to disassemble them, make the tweaks, and put back together before putting them on the bike. I would have never known (and neither would most other shops) and this is another reason for the 5 star rating. These guys are pros. Period. If I lived in this area I would not take my bike ANYWHERE else for ANY service. If you need shocks for your bike HAVE THESE GUYS DO IT!! Simply the best in the business and I can't say enough good about my experience here. I'll be back with my GTL for a shock conversion in the future.

    Just wow!! In my preparations for one of my longest solo motorcycle rides on my BMW F 800 GT I did an exhaustive search for the most comprehensive Motorcycle tool kit I could find. My search lead me to the Beamer shop and the Moto Hansa ProSeries tool kit. Not cheap At $225 bucks but clearly one of the nicest and functional motorcycle tool kits I've ever seen. The only problem was this wasn't coming from Amazon with two day free delivery it was being shipped by the Beamer shop and I needed it by the end of the week. One quick call to the Beamer shop, they identified my order and it shipped out within minutes and I'm not kidding you folks, I got it the next day before noon. No I've never been to their shop but as the owner of 3 BMW's you better damn well believe I will be going there and giving them as much of my business as possible. This is a double hats off for their incredible products and over the top customer service.

    I thought I had been a good loyal customer, I brought my HD to this business for oil changes and…read moretune ups for a few years. I've referred other riders For services also. I rode my bike into this business one day for an oil change and to do a service. my HD has always ran very well, I've always taken very good care of it. . I had a nice ride to Big Sur a couple of days earlier. It ran very well . A couple days later when I pulled up to a light, all of a sudden, it started cutting out A bit. I rode my HD to this motorcycle repair business, little did I know I would never get to ride it again. The worse thing I ever did was take it to Cycle Imagery. I knew something was wrong when the guard lady on the phone said my bike wouldn't be ready. Joe wasn't sure what was wrong with it. She seemed very guarded. After 4 days I called again. I could tell she was lying and trying to hide something . Weeks went by, no communication. Joe kept it for over 6 weeks, never called or tried to explain, always having the lady say he wasn't sure. I would stop by and he would avoid me. It was all very strange. I could tell something was wrong and they were hiding something. Then he called for me to take it somewhere else . After he just let it sit and rust away for a couple of months Out back in the shed shop. Said he couldn't fix it. It should be taken to a HD dealer. No real explanation of why. He even charged me over $1500 to destroy it. I had it towed to a San Jose HD mechanic who called me right away to tell me my gas tank was broken and leaking gas and he couldn't work on it. He could probably fix the bike but now it was to dangerous To work on. He said someone tried to repair it with failed JB Weld. ( wow!) He couldn't believe I was charged over a thousand dollars and my bike was destroyed. And I wasn't even told anything. Joe at Cycle Imagery didn't want to fix it because it has a custom paint job on the gas tank. He should have replaced the tank and matched the paint at least. Now it can't be ridden at all. Its to dangerous! Absolutely no communication or explanation, just a coverup full of lies! So Joe broke my bike and then tried to cover it up. Tried to hide it with JB Weld. He is a Very dishonest person To do that. He wouldn't take the blame and fix what damage he had done. Or pay to have it fixed. So now my bike just sits and rots away in the garage because Joe Destroyed it, and tried to pretend he didn't know anything about it. Now I have no bike because of him . I will never do business with this dishonest rip off ever again and I advise everyone to never do any kind of business with Cycle Imagery Joe ever. He has his staff lie to cover up his BS. The only positive thing was I was able to cancel my credit card payment so my money wasn't stolen also. I regret I didn't consult an attorney or just take him to small claims court , he definitely deserved it! Beware of this business. The owner of this scam! It's a Zero no stars! you would not expect that if you rode your nice great running custom motorcycle into a place of business for services that it would be damaged to a point that it can't be ridden . Then you were lied to. Not good business at all Joe. CF

    Brought my 2024 Yamaha Tracer 9 in for recall work related to the throttle control…read more End result - OMG - it's like a new motorcycle - it handles so smooth and gracefully now I regret not bringing it in sooner. They put the "sport" back into the sport touring. They did some additional tuning work with their basic service that certainly contributed to the end result. The only downside is that I had to wait 4 weeks to get the work done due to their busy schedule. Nonetheless, great work is great work. This establishment has my full and total endorsement ;-)

    To be completely honest, I am biased. I already had a good relations with another dealership and…read morewent to this dealership since I moved close to it. The pro is they're one of the few dealers that sells new Yamahas around San Jose and they're open Sundays. That being said, I do not like their customer service at times. When I'm interested in a bike, they pull it out and let me see it. But there was a time I went with a bike I purchased at the dealership I always go. The employee at GP sports asked me where I got it and when I told them where, he laughed and said something like "they're not a real dealer, we're the real ones" and spoke a bit more talking down on the dealership I got my bike at. It felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable because I felt very attacked since my choice and my motorcycle was talked down on. Don't get me wrong, they were probably joking but I always get some arrogant and cocky feel from a lot of their older employees. They feel very corporate. Another time, they showed no compassion and left it at "it's policy, we can't take in service bikes on Sunday" when my acquaintance crashed his bike right across the shop in the parking lot and wanted to leave it with them for a repair. Their service department was going to open Tuesday, and told us to tow the bike home and tow it back Tuesday. We decided to just take it home and repair ourselves. It is fair for them to have boundaries but the arrogant, "it's your fault" feel they had and con compassion made the experience very bad. I am coming from a very welcoming dealer that I believe would at least call the boss to see if they can take the bike in so I was very unpleasant. The younger employees and some other employees are very friendly and nice so it hurts to leave this review, but as a whole, it was never a great experience going there. It seems like I'm not the only one since I hear bad things about them, and you can read the other reviews for yourself :(
