After several weeks of unsuccessful coordination, my father developed a fever and was admitted through the emergency department, where we met Dr. Thiede. Dr. Thiede evaluated my father in the hospital and proceeded with the removal of all infected teeth. My father was admitted on a Friday evening, seen by Dr. Thiede on Saturday morning, and the procedure was appropriately scheduled and completed on Sunday. Dr. Thiede was thorough, patient, and took the time to answer all questions, which was greatly appreciated given the complexity of my father's medical condition. The office and hospital staff were also professional, kind, and accommodating. During a follow-up visit, our wheelchair transport service canceled at the last minute, and my father had not been eating for several days post-discharge. Despite scheduling constraints, the staff accommodated his appointment without hesitation and without making us feel at fault. They also performed a CT scan and, after reviewing it, told us that one of her wisdom teeth was very close to the nerve. They recommended extracting the tooth but leaving the root behind. Not only that but they shaved my actual molar to almost non existent and kept making my gums bleed due to plying out their "temp" tooth. This office for my chipped tooth #8, they said I had to wait 3 weeks for my insurance to authorize the procedure so I called my insurance reps on 10/4/24 to check the status of the procedure and she said that she didn't recieve a request from this office and to ask for a copy of that request form since their records could be wrong, but this office didn't want to provide me a copy of the request form for some unknown reason and I have been waiting like a dumbass for 3 weeks. Omg, very unprofessional and Victor said he doesn't keep records of the authorization forms for my insurance nor is it his job to do so or to send those forms to my insurance. But they keep on trying to upsell me a procedure out of pocket of course. The forms disappeared. What's the point of paying FICA taxes my entire working life, if when my daughter and I need to access those benefits, dentists, doctors etc...refuse to take the card, use it, run it, they double bill it, and try to upsell you on services, demand only cash for services and to make matters worse they won't treat you at all. I came back a couple weeks later and got some x-rays and thankfully it healed about a month later. I'd appreciate his care and great bedside manner, even my anxiety. I recently came back for a check up and cleaning and I have to admit I got the best cleaning from Cindy. She started with asking me about any concerns I had and I mentioned enamel erosion. Well what I thought was enamel erosion was a lot of tartar on the surface of my teeth and she was able to really scale through all my tartar as well as clean the stains on the bottom of my teeth and make my teeth polished, clean and shiny like a new set of teeth! Also love the front desk staff! They are always so kind and organized. I actually was able to come in earlier due to a cancellation because they had made a note of it late last year!
