Brand new fresh and clean large restaurant! The service was slow to start but was worth the wait. She was very attentive once we got her! The menu is vast and we put it through its paces! The sushi was very good! My favorite thing though were the salad and chicken strips!

This was our first visit 225 Summit. Upon the restaurant, everything has been stylishly and purposefully placed. It is beautiful.. We had quick service. Our waitress was very attentive. My steak and sweet potato fries were delicious..

Great service and food! Went on Sunday for lunch during their soft opening! Sushi was amazing! Mom got a burger and said it was great! Staff was super nice and helpful! Nice vibe! Excited to see the drink menu when the abc license is issued!

Cobb salad, side of Caesar salad, spicy chicken sandwich, spicy crab roll and pork fried dumplings. All amazing

Soho Bar & Grill - OPENING IN SEPT!!!!

    Soho Bar & Grill

I don't get up to Mount Airy often, but I try to experience new spots when I do. The Soho Bar &…read moreGrill was new to me and stood out because my friend and I couldn't decide what we wanted to eat and this spot had it all. I was craving sushi. My friend was craving a burger/wrap. Where do you find both of those things in one place? At Soho! The staff was the normal college/high school student-type, but friendly and attentive. The building was a blend of cafe, bar, and open. It was nice and cozy. It's one of those rare places that has it all AND somehow does it all well. I got the Dynamite Roll and my friend got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Both were very good.

I have walked by Soho Bar and Grill a few times but never had the opportunity to come in and try…read morethe food. That finally changed when I had lunch with a friend who recommended Soho. This fusion restaurant is right in downtown Mount Airy. The building is older, so it has high ceilings, great natural light, and lots of room. There is a roll-up door on the front wall and I saw what looked like PA equipment there as well, so I have to assume there is either live music or possibly other types of events. We were seated immediately, and then Leonie came around to take care of us. She was amazing, super friendly, had recommendations, and always there. My friend ordered a burger and fries, and it looked pretty good. He said the flavor was alright, nothing particularly special. It had the word "spicy" in the name, but it wasn't spicy at all. Soho had a lunch special on a variety of sushi rolls, so I ordered two of them. A spicy tuna, and an Osaka. Soho has a huge sushi menu along with many other related food items, and so I wasn't expecting much. That being said, the rolls were tasty and good looking. Not the best I've had, but still very good. I would definitely come back to try some other items.

You HAVE to try this ramen place. I am drooling thinking about how incredible this spot was. My…read morebest friend and I were on a road trip from Richmond, VA to Asheville and this was the halfway point. We were heading to AVL for my bachelorette and throughout the weekend we kept going "GOD THAT RAMEN WAS SO GOOD!" We came on a Wednesday evening. It took a little to get seated and service was on the slower side, but it was worth it. There was a lot of indoor seating and we were seated at a booth. They have mens and womens restrooms at this restaurant. And a lot of free parking out front in their parking lot. We started off with an Alaska roll as an appetizer. This was really delicious! We knew we were off to a great start. I got the black garlic ramen and my best friend got the red spicy oil ramen. We were in heaven. This ramen is beyond delicious. The rich garlicy broth of mine was perfection. Each element was so yummy. I would drive the 3.5 hours back just to get this ramen again. I highly recommend going.

This was the worst food pickup experience my husband and I have ever had. My husband was treated…read moreterribly by this establishment when he went to pick up our dinner order. He (an African American male) was treated terribly from the moment he went inside. First, the receptionist acted funny toward him and non-friendly, as if he was stealing someone else's order. That was strike number 1. Then, when he got home, we realized our order was absolutely wrong. We were missing the Spider Rolls and the yellow tail. We spent almost $70 so of course, this was irritating. He called the restaurant on his way to get the missing items and once again, the receptionist was rude. She questioned if he knew what yellow tail and spider rolls looked like. Questioning and insulting his intelligence as a grown man. That was strike number 2. He asked to speak to a manager and he said there wasn't one and he would need to come tomorrow to speak to one....yeah ok. He told her that wouldn't be necessary because he was pulling up to the restaurant in about a minute. When he came in she continued to argue with him about his order and told him, he needed to bring it back...why would he bring back the items that were right in the order, when he was there for the MISSING ITEMS?! Not to mention, that's extremely unsanitary! She would not help him but instead argued so badly with him that the chef had to come out of the kitchen. The receptionist spoke to my husband as if he was a child. She talked to him as if he was a thief and a liar. Strike number 3. The chef then told my husband, he would take care of the missing items for him and to not worry. Now, why couldn't the receptions in treat him with the same respect and dignity that the chef did? I'll tell you why. She racially profiled him because of the demographics of the city where the restaurant is located. She treated him as if he was uncultured, ignorant, and a liar. We will never be back and will be sure to write every single person that matters and leave reviews all over the internet exposing this racist establishment. I will be sure that everyone knows exactly what happens when a black person enters the restaurant.
