The owner told us that he has a brewery about an hour east of Berlin that makes the Wanke labeled Pils, Dark and Hefeweizen beers; the IPA that is also offered is made at another brewery. For my meal I ordered a small white veal sausage served with a pretzel and sweet mustard, traditional roast pork cutlets served with dark beer gravy, pretzel dumplings and a small bowl of crunchy cabbage salad. All wonderfully delicious and carefully and impeccably made. My wife opted for vegetarian fare. She ordered a small semolina (Griessknockerl) soup, beetroot dumplings and a salad.
