One of my favorite things to discover in Europe is multi-function cafes, so I was thrilled to come across this cafe that also serves craft beer! I stopped in with a friend after lunch to warm up with a chai latte - I noticed that many of the cafes in Berlin only offered oat milk as a non-dairy option which is delicious but also a bit heavy for me. Nonetheless, the chai was delicious! My friend also tried the peach beer and loved it. I wish I'd made it back here a second time because the craft brew list by BRLO looked so good and interesting. The vibe here is perfect - a little industrial but with homey touches such as plants and shelves of books. The outside space looked super cute as well, but it was chilly so I didn't get to experience it. For those looking to play games, they have shuffleboard in the basement! read more

Cozy, dark and cool Nordic craft beer bar in Berlin. Sold. There's many international suds available on tap and in bottles. I only had one drink here (a blueberry saison) but likely could've stayed for hours. They had hooks, free wifi, and ample seating. I didn't get to talk to the bartenders but they seemed nice enough as well. Kaschk also serves as a coffee bar...an interesting combo that makes perfect sense! Prices are a bit hefty (my saison was like 9 euro) but also they're imported so it makes sense. I was glad to see Victory in stock. Apparently they just took over all of Europe. I see them EVERYWHERE. Totally didn't expect that. But anyway, yeah, visit this bar if you have the time. read more

Nice location and extremely beasy to find. No bad seat in the house - big window to watch Berlin go by; a large table to share with friends; an outdoor garden with twinkle lights; a spot at the bar to chat up the bartender. Great vibes and good beer. It's a younger spot with a good atmosphere. Only reason i rated lower is because the bathrooms had pee all over the floor. Other than that, they have shuffleboard in the basement and outside seating. Easier to pay with cash at this place. read more

Calm and cute bar with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We came here for a beer on a Monday night and it was moderately busy for midnight on a Monday. The bartenders were nice and let us sample some of the beers before choosing one. For 500ml, it was around 6.5 euros for most of the options. Affordable. This place is perfect for a relaxing evening of drinking and catching up with friends. They even have a section with board games. Sadly they were all in German. We sat inside but there were two outdoor sections as well. Would recommend to those visiting Berlin and looking for a calm night. read more

The bar tenders are nice and they sell many not obvious beer sorts, which are quite expensive though. But it stinks like hell in there - with sweat and half-digested-beer... it is hot and stuffy. And the toilets belong to the most revolting ones I have experienced in Berlin, was literally about to throw up - smell, urine and a layer of wet paper towels on the floor. The staff seem to be born for higher purposes than keeping the toilets usable. Sorry guys - I can imagine it may be a nice place on Sunday morning but on Saturday evening, it was definitely not. read more

I don't know why I need to review this place in so many words, but here I go: tons of drinks on tap, a great meeting spot for friends, English-language friendly, shuffleboard, outdoor seating and faux-outdoor seating, plenty of Toiletten, and always a cheery staff make this a really chill spot to meet up with people, despite the location outside the U2 stop. Freshly baked pastries make the place smell wonderful...a bar rarity. Sigh. Just coulda said it's a nice place with a Brokelyn vibe but Yelp wanted more. read more

This place is legit. More beers than you can handle to sample. Challenge you say????? It's clean and simple inside. Good place to hang out solo or in a group. English is OK. U station literally out the door for easy access back to where ever u came from. Minus the two idiots propositioning me to some, less than ethnical ventures, this was a cool place to visit. In fact, this is a beer tour stop. I saw the tours in progress. You don't need to pay for a tour, just show up. Bam. Done. Bookmark it. This was my first pub to visit while in Berlin and it was my favorite. read more

This pub just opened two weeks ago - and since it's close to home I was curious. Glad to find out that they have a great selection of craft beers - a good sign that these are getting more popular in Berlin! We had an IPA and a red ale from the Milkkeller brewery - not bad at all! I found this place OK the first time I was there and now I find myself coming back. It's really a great bar. But first of all... ..for all tourist out there: They take cards. And For all beer lovers out there: They have IPA. And not only one sort. It's a cozy place and at day time it's a nice hipster bar. In the evening it's a multi-purpose bar. You can play games, you can hang out, you can have a date, the mood is really set for everything here. If you wanna try out many sorts of beers, they have an offer for 8€ in which you get a board with 4 (5?) small glasses you can fill up with any beer you like to try out. It's a nice (fun) deal! It won't get 5 stars because of the toilets. The toilets are so disgusting. Ever played the game Silent Hill? Or seen the movies? It's a total nightmare. read more

There was a time when Germany produced the best beers in the world. This hasn't been the case for a while. Fortunately, in Germany there is a place where you can get excellent beers from around the world: Kaschk. I spent a couple of hours there on a recent trip to Berlin. Right on the big beer board they had listed North Coast Old Rasputin on draught. This isn't the easiest beer to find in the U.S., and there it was, in an East Berlin bar. Other choices that night included an Italian IPA that surprised me, not least because it was Italian. I may not get back to Berlin soon, but if I return, I'll stop at Kaschk again. read more

Awesome place for delicious craft beer. It has a really laid back feel. Very good music and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff speaks good English and is quite friendly! A small cafe/bar that serves some great coffe and has a large selection of craft beers on tap. During the day you can get coffe similar to the style they do in the not so far Oslo cafe (one of the better cafe places in Mitte). In the evening the crowd turns more towards the craft beers they offer on tap. They have a changing selection of 12! beers on tap with some great options for beer lovers. Prices are not the cheapest but certainly fine for the type of drinks you can get there. I will be back there. read more

If you are looking for a comfortable non-smoking bar, with a nice wooden yet modern bar ambience and IPAs on draft and/or late night coffee you will enjoy this place. The prices for IPAs are reasonable and the prices for coffee are great! There are many English-speaking people and the staff is friendly. On weekends it is, of course, busy but not too crowded to find a spot at a wooden rustic table. The bar has a downstairs area with several shuffle boards. All in all a nice place to meet your friends for a drink. They have twelve beers on the menu and serve other alcoholic beverages. read more

The small wooden benches and rickety second hand chairs makes this place look like hipster heaven but at the cost of comfort. The music was too loud for such a small place, meaning it's not good if you want to read or have a quiet chat. Delicious and slightly salty brownies and good coffee didn't make up for it. read more

Love the coffee and beers here. If you have beer, coffee and a go on the shuffleboard it does get to be quite expensive by Berlin standards. But the atmosphere is really friendly and relaxed, and I like that you can go any time of day and have a good time. Great music - although they always seem to be playing Tame Impala. read more

our hostel was right down the street so we stopped in for a coffee and a croissant before taking on the day. you pick your ratio of espresso to milk, I got 1:3 which is essentially a latte. we watched him pull the croissants out of the oven to serve them to us. simple, delicious and I would definitely return to check out their craft beers! read more

After having read the great reviews, we went here in the evening for some craft beer. The IPA I had was very good and the others enjoyed their beers too. The list of different beers has something for everybody. The music was a little too loud to have a good conversation but we had a great time anyways. read more

I walked in, there wasn't much going on. I said hello to the people working behind the bar who just looked at me and kept working. Realized that they had no interest in being 'bothered' by new customers and walked out. Seriously, the 'we are in Berlin so we have the right to be rude' attitude is rediculous...
