Derek was our server and he was great. We ordered some drinks to start - espresso martini and the monk mistress, I was drinking on an empty stomach and was buzzed halfway through this drink. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos which came with chips and salsa. Husband got the Prime Rib Dip and upgraded to the garlic parmesan fries. The toddler got a kids meal - mac and cheese with fruit. Everyone seemed happy with their meal. My fish tacos were ok, I thought it was a little bit overly battered, but otherwise good. Solid spot for an easy family friendly or dog friendly meal.

The place is spacious and clean with a decent volume on the music so people can chat and not yell to be heard. I waited for a while for someone to come take my order. I got the prime rib dinner with a loaded baked potato and wanted a cider too. With the event and it being a Friday evening it was exceptionally busy. My cider took a while to come and the food arrived 20 mins later. I know my neighbors were disgruntled by how long it took for their drinks to come too. They requested to take it off the bill since the drinks never arrived. The prime rib and baked potato were delicious. The veggies were not seasoned at all and the carrots were barely even cooked. Just heated up so they are warm. I probably would come back if it's not so packed.

Luckily, it was nice enough that we didn't feel out of place in our wedding-guest attire. The restaurant has a large bar area as well as a comfortable dining room. We chose to sit in a booth in the dining room. Service was great from start to finish. I had the Ahi Salad, and it was perfect--fresh, flavorful, and just what I was looking for. A very nice stop for lunch, especially when you're dressed up and don't want to feel like you wandered into a casual roadside restaurant.

It is spacious and has plenty of tables. I have tried their burger, Alfredo pasta, fish, and chips, and chocolate shake. I was unfortunately not a fan of the pasta, but really enjoyed everything else. Service has always been quick and everyone has been friendly and helpful. It is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend!

Waitress walked by several times to bus some plates and glasses and input some orders into the console but never made eye contact, nor did the old guy with the glasses when he came out to attend the bar. Finally, I caught his attention and asked if I could order. He just said, "Kinda busy right now" and went back to what he was doing. No "give me a minute and I'll be right with you." Much like the crowd that was already there (and unlike the mixed demographic just outside or me), some older white folks came in after me and stood around for a few minutes also. Waitress finally grabbed some menus and asked them "have you been helped?" I interjected and asked, "Can I place an order to go first please?" Without stopping, she said "no" and continued on to them. I left. They saw me leave and didn't say anything. Make of that interaction what you will. The extra star is giving them the benefit of the doubt since they were busy plus their immediate adjacency to the beach.
